Morantin, Patrick. Paris, EPHE, 2013. http://www.theses.fr/2013EPHE4032.
Full textNotes affixed by the humanists Vettor Fausto and Guillaume Budé on their personal copy of Homer's editio princeps constitute two remarkable examples of the reading of the poet in the first decades of the XVIth century. The edition, the analysis, the interpretation of this set of notes, stemming largely from two exceptional sources, the famous Venetus A and an unknown rivalling source, are the foundation and the material of this thesis. From the examination of a thousand notes, the study attempts to understand the philological approach of both humanists. Considering that a certain philosophy of history, marked by the idea of progress and historicism, biases our understanding of the philological work of the humanists, the research steps back from taking an evolutionary reasoning and reverses the historical perspective by taking, for point of comparison, the approach of the antique philology, in particular that of the scholars of the Hellenistic era : the Alexandrine empeiria. It appears that the philological work of Vettor Fausto and Guillaume Budé participates in the rediscovery of the antique philology, from a "grammatical" reading which leads both humanists to constitute, according to the model of the alexandrine empeiria and according to the components of the grammatiké, a personal book which approaches the ekdosis of the Alexandrine scholars. The thesis concludes that the underlying interpretative model to the criticism of the humanist philology is a matter for a paradigm which it is advisable to question in order to better understand the reading and the reception of an author such as Homer in the Renaissance

Equipment maintenance is the major cost factor in industrial plants, it is very important the development of fault predict techniques. Three-phase induction motors are key electrical equipments used in industrial applications mainly because presents low cost and large robustness, however, it isn t protected from other fault types such as shorted winding and broken bars. Several acquisition ways, processing and signal analysis are applied to improve its diagnosis. More efficient techniques use current sensors and its signature analysis. In this dissertation, starting of these sensors, it is to make signal analysis through Park s vector that provides a good visualization capability. Faults data acquisition is an arduous task; in this way, it is developed a methodology for data base construction. Park s transformer is applied into stationary reference for machine modeling of the machine s differential equations solution. Faults detection needs a detailed analysis of variables and its influences that becomes the diagnosis more complex. The tasks of pattern recognition allow that systems are automatically generated, based in patterns and data concepts, in the majority cases undetectable for specialists, helping decision tasks. Classifiers algorithms with diverse learning paradigms: k-Neighborhood, Neural Networks, Decision Trees and Na?ves Bayes are used to patterns recognition of machines faults. Multi-classifier systems are used to improve classification errors. It inspected the algorithms homogeneous: Bagging and Boosting and heterogeneous: Vote, Stacking and Stacking C. Results present the effectiveness of constructed model to faults modeling, such as the possibility of using multi-classifiers algorithm on faults classification

Abstract: In this thesis Computational Intelligence algorithms are used to solve four problems of the area of power electrical systems, in order to automate decision making in processes that are usually performed by human experts aided by classical computational methods. In this thesis the machine learning algorithms are used: decision trees, artificial neural networks and support vector machines to carry out the learning process of Intelligent Systems and to perform Data Mining. These algorithms are trained from the available measurements and actions recorded in the control centers of the systems. Intelligent Systems were used to perform: a) the centralized control Volt-VAr in modern systems of distribution of electrical energy in real time using electrical measurements; b) detection of fraud in electricity distribution networks by performing a data mining process to establish patterns of consumption that lead to possible fraudulent customers; c) fault location in electric power transmission systems by automating the localization process and helping to ensure that a fault control action is performed quickly and efficiently; and d) coordination of intelligent charging of electric vehicles and storage devices using V2G technology in real-time, in electric power distribution systems using electrical measurements. For the centralized control problem Volt-VAr was tested in 42-node distribution system, for the problem of loading electric vehicles and storage devices the tests were performed...
