This article considers the railways as a decolonial option for moving toward mobility justice. It views the photographic artwork Trained Man by Ngalkban Australian artist Darren Siwes through a mobilities lens, considering how the artist plays with time and attends to space, making visible what colonial projects of protection and assimilation have attempted to erase. Attending to the truths and imaginaries that reside and move with Trained Man, it draws on the work of Aboriginal and Black artists, scholars, and activists to trace Australia’s past and present colonial history of training Aboriginal people into whiteness. It considers the railways as carrying “two lines of destiny” with potential moving in both colonial and decolonial directions. The article concludes by suggesting that shared spaces such as the railways open possibilities for mobilizing the decolonial project.

In his works, which saw man as a member of a certain society based on mutual assistance and charity, classifying different fields of science, he laid the methodological foundations for the systematic education of man.The main goal of education is to bring the individual to perfection, and the main goal of human existence in the world is defined as the highest level, which is recognized as absolute good - the achievement of happiness. Al-Farabi is a major didactic methodologist and scientist who has occupied a large place in the history of pedagogy. Dismantling the legacy of a thinker in this area and using it for the benefit of the development of modern pedagogical science is one of the most important tasks.

Abstract:
I examine the basic logical character of ‘the last man example’, as well as the logical character of one of its more important variants. Although it has one striking antecedent in recent philosophy – of which more later – it’s fair to regard it as an example first presented to a contemporary audience by Richard Routley in his 1973 paper, ‘Is There a Need for a New, an Environmental, Ethic?’. I want to determine exactly how the example goes and what it shows. I want to determine what it does not show. One reason for engaging in this exercise is the striking and engaging character of the last man example itself. Another is that a large number of environmental philosophers have since referred to the last man but have drawn different, sometimes contrary, lessons from it – though we won’t have time here to visit any but the earliest of these responses. It seems to me time to patiently revisit the example and time to attempt a conclusive understanding of its significance. A second, and broader, purpose I have is to describe the meta-ethical views it led Routley to adopt – or manufacture! – in an attempt to philosophically position his normative stance within a more fundamental, explanatory, framework.

Abstract:
Johann Wolfgang Goethe was a descendant of both paternal and maternal lines from a prominent family of lawyers in Frankfurt. His career has been connected with jurisprudence since his studies at the university. Although the writer worked most of his life in the field of law, he rose to the top of fame thanks to literature and artistic creativity. Along with literary, aesthetic, religious, and philosophical views, Goethe covered political, social, and legal problems in his works. His poetry is a high example of the combination of poetry and law; in his poems and dramas truth and law, freedom, will and their place in the fate of man are widely discussed. Also, in his large-scale novels, the relationship between man and society is written. These views are reflected in the work “The Suffering of Young Werther”, which is considered to be the first example of Goethe’s work. In them, the young Goethe recognized that the truth of the heart is above any paper, law, rules, and human justice is above the rules and laws written by members of society. The article discusses this topic and explores Goethe’s legal views based on an analysis of his works.

This paper focuses on the four preserved commentaries to a Pythagorean poem known as the Golden Verses. It deals with two Greek texts—Iamblichus’ Protrepticus and Hierocles’ Commentary to the Golden Verses—as well as two commentaries preserved in Arabic, attributed to Iamblichus and Proclus. The article analyses how each of these commentators understood the relationship between man and god in the context of the eschatological vision presented in the poem. It also demonstrates how differences in the interpretation of particular verses and ideas within the poem were dependent on an author’s philosophical views and cultural background.

Abstract:
One of the major concerns of the social philosophy is the technological revolution and its impacts on the social systems. Critical views on the systems from the social philosophers depart from the social predicaments of their time. The pivotal critic of Karl Marx in his work of Das Capital , for example, is on poverty caused by the system of capitalism. Capitalism, for him, only produces various social downturns such as slavery, oppressions, exploitations and impoverishment. Herbert Marcuse, meanwhile, pointed at the same problem, but he came from a different point of view from Marx. Marcuse criticized the abundant society. In One Dimensional Man Marcuse rendered a couple of incisive critics on the industrial society. Industrial society, for him, is marked by the abundance and surplus but this society is still oppressed under a new type of slavery, called voluntary slavery . We may briefly say that both philosophers rendered critics on the same matter of the industrial society, but the two stood on the different position. Marx’s critic was on the hungry and deficient society, while Marcuse on a satiated, plenteous and surplus society. The aim of this paper is to present of how Marcuse’s One-Dimensional Man ends in the digital age.

‘Bah! Humbug!’ It's the most famous line in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, but is it the most important? Surely not, for this Christmas classic is not centrally about Christmas, but about a man, the holiday being the convenient setting for his transformation. What kind of transformation? Why a moral transformation of course, because the man, Ebenezer Scrooge, through multiple encounters with the spirit world, becomes a good man by the end of the story. But where does this story begin, what are we to think of Scrooge at the outset and how is his transformation accomplished? These are the questions I take up here, for while Scrooge is tightfisted, covetous and hard-hearted, he is still a man of principle. Judged by the standards of some views on ethics, Scrooge isn't actually all that bad. How can that be? Let's start with a quick overview of two centuries of ethical theory.

This study aims to analyze the concept of syar’u man qablanā and its position as a source of Islamic law, examined from various perspectives of fiqh scholars. There are still differences in the various views of fiqh scholars regarding the position of syar’u man qablanāas, a source of Islamic law, particularly as a basis for establishing fatwas. Furthermore, this study also examines the application of syar’u man qablanā as a basis for establishing fatwas by the Indonesian Ulama Council. This used qualitative method, employing a literature review with discourse analysis and adopting a normative research approach through the utilization of the statute and conceptual approaches. This study concludes that the scholars agree that syar’u man qablanā, which is not explained in the Qur'an does not apply to the people of the Prophet Muhammad. As for the syar’u man qablanā which is not mentioned in the Qur'an, the scholars have several views in concluding it. Indonesian Ulama Council has made at least nine verses of the Qur'an containing syar’u man qablanā as a basis for establishing several fatwas, such as fatwas concerning ijarah, syarī’ah card, multiservice financing, kafalah, syarīa factoring, and other fatwas related to the contemporary transactions. This study contributes to strengthening the study of the implementation of syar’u man qablanā as a basis for establishing Islamic law, especially in determining fatwas by contemporary scholars

Abstract:
Even though evolution of time and scientific knowledge have provided humanity with the latest understanding on the concept of man, nevertheless man is too complicated to be comprehended in his entirety through any single study carried out on him. As for this reason, the study on man has become perennial in nature. Human nature as a topic more popularly discussed in psychology has caught the attention of many concerned parties from other fields of research. Perhaps some of the most interested people in the study of man will be theologians, philosophers, sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists, biologists, etc. It is highly improbable for parents, psychologists, counselors and teachers to render their best help and services to their subjects without having the proper understanding on the concept of man. Due to this fact, this qualitative study was conducted to analyze some selected views on human nature. Ideas provided by Psychoanalysis, Radical Behaviorism, Humanistic and Islamic psychologies were analyzed. Upon analyzing the different concepts on human nature, the researchers examined the implications and possible outcomes when such concepts are applied in the field of education. The textual-analysis method was employed in interpreting the relevant data of this study.

This academic paper explores Marx's view of religion from the perspective of "realistic man". It objectively discusses the historical background and main contents of the formation of Marx's religious view as well as the contents of religious criticism which cannot be ignored in the Marxist theoretical system. In the process of studying Marxism, people always used to combine religion with the words such as ignorance and unwisdom. This paper returns to the original work of Marx, puts forward the realistic value of the existence of religion under the historical background, and holds that religion should be discussed with realistic people based on the real society.

Abstract:
This paper provides a brief overview of the evolution of views on interest from ancient times to the present day. Historical changes, including legal acts prohibiting and restricting interest as well as theological and economic views and disputes about the justification of its existence, are followed. It turned out that life has sought and found ways to bypass bans, and that placing man at the center of the universe after the Renaissance decidedly marked a shift towards the legalization of interest. It was continuously tolerated in Orthodox countries, with less confrontations than in the West.

Abstract:
The article considers Leo Tolstoy's views on marriage in the evolutionary aspect. For young Leo Tolstoy, marriage and family is one of the main values. He understands them as a sphere saving a person from disharmony, despondency, sin, helping to find the meaning of life. The family is interpreted by Leo Tolstoy as the main purpose of person's life. In his early works, he builds a family model. Marriage and family for young Leo Tolstoy are considered to be the main condition for happiness. Love for the spouse is understood as a sense of respect for parents of their children. Over the years, Leo Tolstoy’s views on marriage have changed significantly. This is due to the change in Leo Tolstoy's attitude to the Church and to Church religion (by his definition), the writer's complete denial of private property, the complication of relations with his wife and children. Leo Tolstoy explains his point of view on marriage by following the true Christian teaching. Leo Tolstoy motivates the denial of marriage in the Christian way by the fact that the main purpose of a Christian is to serve God; marriage makes people serve themselves. Leo Tolstoy identifies justification by the church of the marriage with the excuse of "physical love". Leo Tolstoy considers marriage as a veiled form of fornication. However, he denied divorce because he believed that a woman left without a husband or a man without a wife would be exposed to moral decline. The author finds contradictory Leo Tolstoy's assessments of the marriage in the later work.

When in October 2011 the Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili announced that he was going into politics, discussions focused on whether he is a “Kremlin project” or not. Even if there were evidence of that, it would not be enough to explain Ivanishvili’s eruption into Georgian politics. This biographical sketch charts the rise of Ivanishvili and explores his previous business career in Russia, his professional relationships and key transactions, and his views on the future of Georgian-Russian relations.

Abstract:
The subject of the study is the scientific and religious aspects of the anthropological determinism of the philosophical works of A.L. Chizhevsky, the object is the deterministic views of the cosmist on man. The author examines in detail the "dialectical" anthropological determinism compatible with the freedom of human will of the "Basic principle of the universe" and the roughly deterministic approach to man of the "Electronic Theory and genesis of forms". Special attention is paid to the study of the question concerning the validity of both types of deterministic views in the context of global evolutionism, as well as Christianity and Vedantist ideas about the "cosmic game" correlated with the phenomenon of cosmic consciousness. The purpose of the work is to explicate the question of the peculiarities of the correlation of scientific and religious worldviews in Russian cosmism, based on which it is possible to identify the grounds for a productive dialogue between science and religion. The following methods were used: analysis of textual sources (including manuscripts of the 1703 fund of the Archive of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation), comparative analysis, analysis, synthesis, generalization, induction and deduction, historical method. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the identification of two varieties of anthropological determinism characterizing the philosophical works of A.L. Chizhevsky, and the study of their compliance with scientific and religious views. The main conclusions of the study are the following judgments: 1) "dialectical" anthropological determinism seems legitimate, in contrast to the roughly deterministic approach to man; 2) an assessment of the correspondence of the two mentioned varieties of anthropological determinism to scientific and religious views allows us to draw the same conclusion about their legality. A similar vision of a complex phenomenon in scientific and religious discourses indicates the presence of points of contact between them. The similarities and differences between science and religion should become the basis for solving the urgent problem of building a constructive dialogue between these forms of human culture.
