Abstract:

O vimeiro (Salix x rubens) é uma planta lenhosa, de origem europeia, usada no Brasil para artesanato e movelaria. A cultura do vimeiro é eventualmente atacada por lagartas e formigas que causam a perda de área foliar. Este estudo objetivou avaliar o efeito de níveis de desfolha no crescimento do vimeiro. O experimento foi conduzido em uma estufa. As plantas foram mantidas em vasos com capacidade de 8 litros sob nebulização intermitente, de agosto a dezembro de 2004. O delineamento foi em blocos casualizados, com cinco repetições e quatro tratamentos (0, 25, 50 e 75% de desfolha do número total de folhas) avaliados quanto ao teor de açúcares redutores, área foliar e massa fresca e seca, caules e folhas. O desfolhamento (%) reduziu a massa (MH = -0,1067x + 19,03, R² = 0,98) e o diâmetro final das hastes (DH = -0,0114x + 5,172, R² = 0,98), assim como a massa foliar (MF = -0,1028x + 13,892; R2 = 0,99) e o número de folhas (NF = -0,2545x + 36,87, R² ~ 0,998). A partição de assimilados foi alterada em favor da restauração da área foliar.

Abstract:

The experiment aimed to evaluate viability in the production of grapevine seedlings using three materials in the process of mooring and graft protection: elastic + sawdust, Vimeiro + sawdust and biodegradable tape. Was used SO4 rootstock cuttings and grafting with variety BRS Cora. The analyzed indicators were percentage of graft take, quality of the graft callus, seedling classification. The answers regarding the formation of roots were greater in the treatments with lower percentage of catch. The diameter, length and dry weight of the pruning branches did not differ between treatments. Treatments with elastic region mooring and Vimeiro covered with sawdust showed the best results for the percentage of callus and callus quality.

Abstract:

In 1933, Joaquim Vieira Natividade established an experimental field with oaks and related genera at Mata Nacional do Vimeiro, Portugal. This experimental area includes the only Portuguese plots with the hybrid Quercus x hispanica hybrid ‘Lucombeana’ (Quercus cerris x suber) with seeds obtained from the Cambridge Botanic Gardens.In 1962-1965, their offspring were included in this area. Those plots integrate an ex situ forest genetic resources, representing a unique population for understanding the structure, function and evolution of the genome (genomics) and its gene expression (transcriptomics). In all progenies, with approximately 60 years, it is evident the segregation for several phenotypic characteristics, specifically in the cork formation and in the leaf shape. Based on that, two projects were developed with this plant material. The first was focused on finding out the molecular basis responsible for the variation in cork and the other on association genetic studies. The aim of this work is to allow access and sharing of knowledge about this genetic material in accordance with the established by FAO in the State of the World’s Forest Genetic Resources report. Abstract:

Este trabalho teve o objetivo de avaliar a reação de resistência a pragas e doenças de clones locais do vimeiro comum, Salix x rubens, e de espécies introduzidas da Argentina, Chile, Alemanha e França. Três experimentos foram conduzidos em campo no ciclo de cultivo 2003/2004, em diferentes ecossistemas do Planalto Serrano Catarinense. As avaliações de resistência constaram da estimativa de danos causados pelos insetos e da severidade de doenças foliares. No conjunto de todas as avaliações, os acessos - genótipos introduzidos - EEL_10 (Salix nigra), EEL_08 (Salix sp.), EEL_02 (Salix x rubens), EEL_13 (Salix sp.), EEL_09 (Salix alba), e EEL_20 (Salix sp.) foram os mais resistentes ao ataque de pragas e doenças. Dada a reação diferenciada dos acessos quanto ao ataque de doenças e pragas, as próximas ações de pesquisa devem proceder aos testes de artesanato para verificar a sua adequação à demanda para confecção de peças finas.

Abstract:

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a dinâmica e a heterogeneidade de dormência de gemas, e avaliar o efeito de diferentes épocas de colheita de ramos na brotação do vimeiro, no Planalto Sul Catarinense. Ramos de ano foram colhidos nos meses de abril a agosto de 2005, nos municípios catarinenses de Lages, Bocaina do Sul e Urupema. A dormência de gemas foi avaliada em estacas retiradas da base (0 a 12 cm), centro (12 a 24 cm) e ápice (24 a 36 cm) de ramos com comprimento superior a 150 cm. Foram utilizadas estacas com e sem redução para uma única gema. As brotações das plantas em campo também foram avaliadas. A dormência mais intensa de gemas de ramos de ano ocorreu em maio, quando a intensidade de dormência e a freqüência de gemas dormentes decresceram do ápice para a base do segmento basal dos ramos. A colheita do vime em abril induziu a brotação antes do inverno e prejudicou a brotação primaveril.

Abstract:

A intensidade de dormência e o requerimento em frio do vimeiro (Salix x rubens Shrank) foram avaliados pelo método de estacas de gema isolada. As observações foram realizadas em ramos coletados em Lages, SC, a intervalos regulares de 21 dias, de 29/03/2004 a 2/08/2004. A brotação de gemas dos segmentos basal, mediano e distal de ramos do ano foi avaliada na ausência ou após suplementação de frio (500 ou de 1000 horas a 5 ± 3ºC). A brotação de gemas foi avaliada nos estádios: a) gemas inchadas; b) início da abertura das gemas; c) broto alongado e; d) broto alongado com folha aberta. A intensidade de dormência das gemas foi crescente da base para a ponta dos ramos e foi máxima em 10 de maio, para todas as regiões do ramo. O tratamento com 500 horas de frio foi efetivo em reduzir o tempo para a brotação, em todas as épocas e posições das gemas no ramo. A avaliação até o aparecimento de folhas abertas foi importante para identificar a real capacidade de brotação das gemas.

O envolvimento cardíaco está presente com frequência no curso clínico de pacientes com Covid-19 e é associado a um pior prognóstico. Pericardite aguda, derrame pericárdico bem como o tamponamento cardíaco devem ser considerados como diagnósticos dife-renciais em pacientes com Covid-19 que apresentem dor torácica, sinais de insuficiência cardíaca ou comprometimento hemodinâmico. Realizamos uma revisão de mecanismos fisiopatológicos, abordagens diagnósticas e possíveis tratamentos nos casos de envol-vimento pericárdico em pacientes com Covid-19.

The objective of this research was to obtain information that may assist in insertion and cultivation of species of the genus Salix in agroforestry systems. For the ethno knowledge study that deals with willow crops and local plant diversity was performed 30 semi-structured interviews applied to willow growers settled in typically willow crops communities. In the experiment that simulated levels of shadow, 20 cm willows cuttings were planted into box filled with a mixture of soil and manure and submitted to 0%, 50% and 70% shading levels. The diameter and length of the willow branches, fresh and dry weight of the branches and roots and branches winding resistance were evaluated 60 and 90 days after the starting of the experiment. For verifying the response of tree willow species to different water soil contents, the experiment was conducted into a greenhouse in a completely randomized design, in a factorial arrangement of 2 x 3 x 4. Each plot was composed by a plastic vase filled with Haplumbrepts or Latosols soil. In each vase was planted three willow cuttings of Salix x rubens, Salix viminalis or Salix smithiana species. The water soil regime tested was irrigation to soil water retention capacity to 100, 80, 60, 40 %. At 90 days after after the starting of the experiment were evaluated length of branches, number of buds, fresh and dry weight of shoots and roots of each plant. The willow growers showed to be prepared to do the harmonization of willow crop as agroforestry systems once it is done with native and commercial plant species, that could be panted and cultivated in the around of willow cropped areas. In order to obtain the highest yields and branches qualities in agroforestry systems plants of Salix viminalis and Salix x rubens should be cultivates in no shading areas. The biomass production of Salix x rubens, Salix viminalis and Salix Smithiana is greater between 80 and 100% capacity retention of moisture in the soil. Therefore, the willows fields outside of permanent legal areas with low wet areas should guarantee plenty of water to the willows plants
O objetivo desta pesquisa foi obter informações que possam auxiliar na inserção e cultivo de espécies do gênero Salix em sistemas agroflorestais. Para o estudo do etnoconhecimento foram realizadas 30 entrevistas semi-estruturadas com viminicultores residentes nas comunidades típicas de cultivo do vimeiro. O estudo abordou aspectos sobre o cultivo do vimeiro e da diversidade vegetal local. Para o experimento de simulação de sombra em vimeiros, estacas com 20 cm de comprimento foram plantadas em caixas com substrato composto pela mistura de solo e esterco bovino e submetidas aos níveis de 0%, 50% e 70% de sombreamento. Aos 60 e 90 dias após o plantio foram avaliados o diâmetro e comprimento dos ramos, massa fresca e seca dos ramos e das raízes e resistência dos ramos ao enrolamento. Para a resposta de três espécies de vimeiros a diferentes condições hídricas no solo, o experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação, com delineamento experimental inteiramente casualisado, disposto em arranjo fatorial de 2 x 3 x 4 x 4. As parcelas eram constituídas por vasos plásticos contendo separadamente solo do tipo Cambissolo Húmico álico franco argiloso e Latossolo Vermelho argiloso nos quais foram plantadas três estacas das espécies de Salix x rubens, Salix viminalis e Salix smithiana. Os regimes hídricos do solo foram de irrigação para elevação à capacidade de retenção (CR) de água quando o solo atingia 100, 80, 60 e 40% da CR. Aos 90 dias após a implantação das estacas foi avaliado o comprimento de ramo, número de gemas, massa fresca e seca da parte aérea e das raízes de cada planta. Os viminicultores entrevistados estão dispostos à manutenção e harmonização dos vimais como sistemas agroflorestais, dando preferência a espécies nativas ou comerciais, desde que localizadas no entorno dos vimais. Em sistemas agroflorestais, para a obtenção do maior rendimento e qualidade de ramos as plantas de Salix viminalis e Salix x rubens, estas devem ser cultivadas em áreas livres de sombreamento. A produção de biomassa de Salix x rubens, Salix viminalis e Salix smithiana é maior entre 80 e 100% de capacidade de retenção de umidade no solo. Portanto, a condução de vimais fora das áreas de preservação permanente com solos de baixadas e umidos devem assegurar a disponibilidade de água aos vimeiros

La thèse porte sur les tempêtes et L’emprise submersions marines dans l’ouest de la France. Elle couvre une période peu examinée, comprise entre leur sortie de la pénombre documentaire au milieu du XIVe siècle et le développement progressif des mesures instrumentales dans le dernier tiers du XVIIIe siècle. 128 tempêtes ont été analysées. La thèse interroge la tempête dans ses définitions et ses composantes. Pluri et interdisciplinaire, elle s’articule autour de 4 axes principaux. Le premier dresse un bilan critique des sources écrites (diaires, registres paroissiaux, de comptes…) et des archives sédimentaires. 19 888 documents historiques ont été dépouillés. Le second axe reconstruit l’histoire des tempêtes et caractérise les événements anciens, notamment en usant d’un SIG et de la cartographie. spatiale, le coefficient de marée estimatif, l’endommagement peuvent être établis. Le troisième propose une démarche de quantification des dommages et introduit une réflexion sur la construction d’un prototype d’évaluation des tempêtes. Le dernier analyse de manière systémique les réponses des sociétés médiévales et modernes. Les résultats témoignent de l’adaptabilité des populations et de leur tolérance au risque. En questionnant les dialectiques hommes / environnement, la combinaison de ces 4 axes permet de conclure à la gestion pragmatique que les sociétés avaient de leur vulnérabilité face aux tempêtes. Opératoire, l’étude peut contribuer à la prévention et à la gestion des risques actuels et futurs
The thesis focuses on storms and sea floods in the west of France. It covers a less studied period of time from the exit of documentary twilight in the middle of the 14th century to the progressive development of measuring instruments in the last third of the 18th century. 128 storms have been analysed. This thesis wonders about the definitions of a storm and its components. At the crossroads of several and intertwined subjects, the thesis is structured around 4 main development lines. The first one establishes a critical statement of written sources (journals, parish registers, account registers…) and sedimentary archives. 19 888 historical documents have been checked. The second development line puts together the history of storms and pictures past events, mainly using a SIG and the method of mapmaking. Therefore, the spatial extent, the estimated tidal coefficient and the damage to infrastructures, activities, human lives can be pointed out.The third line offers a damage’s quantification approach and introduces a reflection on the creation of a storms’ evaluation prototype. The last line analyses, in a systemic manner, responses of medieval and modern societies. The results are evidence of the populations’ adaptability and risk tolerance. By questioning the dialectic relationship of mankind and environment, the combination of thoses 4 development lines leads to conclude to society’s pragmatic management of its weaknesses when facing storms. This study can contribute to preventing and managing current and future risks

Abstract:

Significant changes and advances in technology in the twenty-first century, and the rapid evolution and development of the internet in particular, have shaped the production, publication, and consumption of, and access to, a wide range of media. For adaptors of Shakespeare, such advances can be exploited as new and innovative ways through which to interpret, perform, and understand Shakespeare. This thesis argues that a possibility space emerges from the restrictions of video-sharing sites such as YouTube and Vimeo, enabling the creation and online distribution of original internet-disseminated short film adaptations of Shakespeare on a scale — and with a potential audience — previously unimaginable to those without significant financial resources. I explore the effect that the enforced brevity of the possibility space has on filmmakers’ adaptations of Shakespeare and ask how this space enables newly creative and innovative approaches to adapting Hamlet’s ‘to be or not to be’ speech, Ophelia’s image (and death), and a distilled Romeo and Juliet narrative. I aim to show that a generally circulated cultural memory of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet is crucial for this kind of short-form adaptation, as the brevity of the format relies on audience familiarity with the images and texts deployed to fill in any gaps. I demonstrate that image-based adaptations, such as Ophelia’s death, are predominantly reductive due to a strong visual tradition that results in repeated reproduction of the same image, whereas text-based adaptations, such as Hamlet’s speech, allow exploration and amplification due to the nebulous nature of the text and exploitation of the possibilities of film; the Romeo and Juliet love story, bound up in both text and image, is more visually resonant than adaptations of Hamlet’s speech, but less so than those of Ophelia’s death. Ultimately, I conclude that although the possibility space always exists, it is not always leveraged in the same way: it can, and does, offer internet-disseminated short filmmakers the opportunity to approach familiar Shakespearean material in new and innovative ways, but this creative potential can be overlooked in favour of static, mimetic replication that uses Shakespeare to confer legitimacy without writing back.

Diplomová práce řeší problematiku sociálních medií v marketingové komunikaci vybrané společnosti. Cílem této práce je analyzovat současný stav marketingové komunikace na sociálních sítích dané společnosti a navrhnout nové řešení pro využití vhodnějších médií. První část je věnována problematice marketingu, marketingové komunikaci a sociálním sítím. Analytická část poté studuje vnější prostředí společnosti spolu s konkurencí a situací uvnitř společnosti. Poslední část představuje možné návrhy řešení, jak vylepšit marketingovou komunikaci společnosti na sociálních sítí, spolu s analýzou jejich efektivity, návrhu kampaně na tuzemském trhu spolu s dosahem zahraničních trhů a přihlédnutím na konkrétní produkt.

O estudo do espólio recolhido no que diz respeito à sua tipologia e localização espacial tem como objetivos finais compreender e identificar os vários momentos do combate da Colina do Vimeiro. Os acontecimentos ocorridos no âmbito da Primeira Invasão Francesa (1807-1808) deram origem a um rico património cultural atualmente existente em Portugal, que apresenta diversos desafios, sendo um dos principais o conhecimento das suas expressões materiais e imateriais. O trabalho desenvolvido nesta dissertação identificou um conjunto de bens patrimoniais diretamente relacionados com as batalhas da Roliça e do Vimeiro, ocorridas a 17 e 21 de agosto de 1808, recorrendo a metodologias de inventariação que constituem um ponto de partida para uma roteirização da Primeira Invasão Francesa à qual será ainda necessário adicionar um trabalho de investigação em áreas de conhecimento como a arqueologia e a história, entre outras. Apesar de circunscrito aos concelhos do Bombarral e da Lourinhã, a informação apurada evidencia que existem condições para a ativação turística deste património e que a Primeira Invasão Francesa, que naturalmente não se limita a estes territórios, poderá assumir-se como uma marca nacional do Turismo Militar. A criação de um Roteiro-Base de Dados como é proposto na presente investigação para esta temática não constitui, "per si", um produto turístico, mas representa um primeiro passo na direção da criação de uma base de informação, em constante necessidade de atualização, que sirva suporte aos diversos agentes do Turismo, públicos ou privados, para o desenvolvimento dos seus produtos e serviços. A importância destas duas batalhas, o valioso potencial paisagístico, a existência de um centro de interpretação, ou a forte ligação ao legado militar inglês, da qual se destaca a ascensão de Wellesley, futuro duque de Wellington, como líder militar e figura de primeira importância no combate ao domínio napoleónico, constituem um suporte a partir do qual é legítimo assumir a existência de condições para que o final da Primeira Invasão Francesa de Portugal, sustentado numa cooperação intermunicipal estratégica, possa assumir uma posição de destaque na oferta turística destes territórios.
The events that occurred during the First French Invasion (1807-1808) created a rich cultural heritage presently existing in Portugal, which presents several challenges, one of which being the knowledge of its material and immaterial expressions. The work developed in this dissertation identified a set of heritage assets directly related to the battles of Roliça and Vimeiro, which took place on August 17 and 21 (1808), using inventoried methodologies that constitute a starting point for the routing of the First French Invasion to which it will be necessary to add a research work in fields of expertise such as archeology and history, among others. The creation of a database roadmap as proposed in the present research for this theme is not, in itself, a tourism product, but represents a first step towards the creation of an information base, in constant need of updating, that support the various agents of tourism, public or private, for the development of their products and services. The importance of these two battles, the valuable landscape potential, the existence of a center of interpretation, or the strong connection with the English military legacy, notably the rise of Wellesley, future Duke of Wellington, as a military leader and prime figure in the fight against Napoleon’s domination, constitute a basis from which it is legitimate to assume the existence of the necessary conditions for the end of the First French Invasion of Portugal, sustained by strategic intermunicipal cooperation, to take a prominent position in the tourism activity of these territories.

Abstract:

As perturbações ao nível do desenvolvimento das competências sociais, nomeadamente a perturbação do espectro do autismo, ainda que sejam pouco conhecidas, encontram-se pre-sentes na sociedade em geral. A população que sofre desta problemática, nomeadamente as crianças, tendem a ter uma vida distinta dos seus pares visto que a socialização se acaba por fazer de uma forma diferente. Estas crianças encontram nos centros de desenvolvimento infantil e nos profissionais que trabalham estas problemáticas uma ajuda que permite treiná-las para promover uma maior inte-gração junto da sociedade. Verifica-se, também, que a tecnologia pode ser uma mais valia a associar ao trabalho dos terapeutas e profissionais da área, mas existe uma grande escassez de ferramentas tecnológicas vocacionadas para esse efeito. Foi então concebida uma ferramenta que pretende apoiar o trabalho dos profissionais que trabalham com crianças com perturbações ao nível do desenvolvimento das competências soci-ais que fomente a aprendizagem tendo em consideração as temáticas a abranger para a inte-gração social. De modo a motivar as crianças para o uso desta ferramenta, foi desenvolvido um jogo digital sério para que, a brincar, possam aprender como agir em sociedade. Resulta desta solução, uma integração das tecnologias de informação e comunicação no seio dos profissionais que trabalham esta problemática junto das crianças que sofrem de pertur-bações ao nível do desenvolvimento das competências sociais, nomeadamente a perturbação do espectro do autismo.

Abstract:

This chapter will introduce methodology how to use analytical potential of multimedia contents like YouTube, Bing Videos or Vimeo for discovering behavioral consumer characteristics. Abstract:

Social media are increasingly perceived as powerful drivers of change for research practices, in terms of openness, sharing and sociability. Numerous studies have reported benefits and factors affecting the progressive adoption of these sites especially for scholarly communication. However, extensive studies that are carried out with large samples at a national level are still rare. This chapter reports the results of a survey addressed to Italian academic scholars, the purpose of which was to identify frequency and way of use of a number of social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, YouTube, Vimeo, SlideShare, Blogs, and Wikis). The study aims at providing evidence on how academic scholars are using social media for scholarly purposes, also by taking into account a number of factors such as gender, age, years of teaching, academic title, and field of knowledge. It also investigates the most valuable tools and the main reasons for use in academic practices. Results of quantitative and qualitative analysis are provided along with considerations for further research.

Tyrimais nustatyta, į kurią ašį gulsčiukas yra daugiau ar mažiau jautrus posvyriui. Išnagrinėtas 2016–2018 metų laikotarpio skirtingu periodu tikrintų gravimetrų gulsčiuko posvyrio ir jautrumo į X bei Y ašis atskaitų kitimas. Ištirtas gravimetrų gulsčiuko kompensatoriaus veikimo diapazonas. Remiantis gravimetrinės kalibravimo bazės matavimų duomenimis, nustatyti gravimetrų kalibravimo koeficientai ir jų pokytis 2007–2018 m. Atlikti gravimetro laboratorinės ir darbinės nulio slinkties tyrimai.
