Abstract:

O vimeiro (Salix x rubens) é uma planta lenhosa, de origem europeia, usada no Brasil para artesanato e movelaria. A cultura do vimeiro é eventualmente atacada por lagartas e formigas que causam a perda de área foliar. Este estudo objetivou avaliar o efeito de níveis de desfolha no crescimento do vimeiro. O experimento foi conduzido em uma estufa. As plantas foram mantidas em vasos com capacidade de 8 litros sob nebulização intermitente, de agosto a dezembro de 2004. O delineamento foi em blocos casualizados, com cinco repetições e quatro tratamentos (0, 25, 50 e 75% de desfolha do número total de folhas) avaliados quanto ao teor de açúcares redutores, área foliar e massa fresca e seca, caules e folhas. O desfolhamento (%) reduziu a massa (MH = -0,1067x + 19,03, R² = 0,98) e o diâmetro final das hastes (DH = -0,0114x + 5,172, R² = 0,98), assim como a massa foliar (MF = -0,1028x + 13,892; R2 = 0,99) e o número de folhas (NF = -0,2545x + 36,87, R² ~ 0,998). A partição de assimilados foi alterada em favor da restauração da área foliar.

Abstract:

The experiment aimed to evaluate viability in the production of grapevine seedlings using three materials in the process of mooring and graft protection: elastic + sawdust, Vimeiro + sawdust and biodegradable tape. Was used SO4 rootstock cuttings and grafting with variety BRS Cora. The analyzed indicators were percentage of graft take, quality of the graft callus, seedling classification. The answers regarding the formation of roots were greater in the treatments with lower percentage of catch. The diameter, length and dry weight of the pruning branches did not differ between treatments. Treatments with elastic region mooring and Vimeiro covered with sawdust showed the best results for the percentage of callus and callus quality.

Abstract:

In 1933, Joaquim Vieira Natividade established an experimental field with oaks and related genera at Mata Nacional do Vimeiro, Portugal. This experimental area includes the only Portuguese plots with the hybrid Quercus x hispanica hybrid ‘Lucombeana’ (Quercus cerris x suber) with seeds obtained from the Cambridge Botanic Gardens.In 1962-1965, their offspring were included in this area. Those plots integrate an ex situ forest genetic resources, representing a unique population for understanding the structure, function and evolution of the genome (genomics) and its gene expression (transcriptomics). In all progenies, with approximately 60 years, it is evident the segregation for several phenotypic characteristics, specifically in the cork formation and in the leaf shape. Based on that, two projects were developed with this plant material. The first was focused on finding out the molecular basis responsible for the variation in cork and the other on association genetic studies. The aim of this work is to allow access and sharing of knowledge about this genetic material in accordance with the established by FAO in the State of the World’s Forest Genetic Resources report. Este trabalho teve o objetivo de avaliar a reação de resistência a pragas e doenças de clones locais do vimeiro comum, Salix x rubens, e de espécies introduzidas da Argentina, Chile, Alemanha e França. Três experimentos foram conduzidos em campo no ciclo de cultivo 2003/2004, em diferentes ecossistemas do Planalto Serrano Catarinense. As avaliações de resistência constaram da estimativa de danos causados pelos insetos e da severidade de doenças foliares. No conjunto de todas as avaliações, os acessos - genótipos introduzidos - EEL_10 (Salix nigra), EEL_08 (Salix sp.), EEL_02 (Salix x rubens), EEL_13 (Salix sp.), EEL_09 (Salix alba), e EEL_20 (Salix sp.) foram os mais resistentes ao ataque de pragas e doenças. Dada a reação diferenciada dos acessos quanto ao ataque de doenças e pragas, as próximas ações de pesquisa devem proceder aos testes de artesanato para verificar a sua adequação à demanda para confecção de peças finas.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a dinâmica e a heterogeneidade de dormência de gemas, e avaliar o efeito de diferentes épocas de colheita de ramos na brotação do vimeiro, no Planalto Sul Catarinense. Ramos de ano foram colhidos nos meses de abril a agosto de 2005, nos municípios catarinenses de Lages, Bocaina do Sul e Urupema. A dormência de gemas foi avaliada em estacas retiradas da base (0 a 12 cm), centro (12 a 24 cm) e ápice (24 a 36 cm) de ramos com comprimento superior a 150 cm. Foram utilizadas estacas com e sem redução para uma única gema. As brotações das plantas em campo também foram avaliadas. A dormência mais intensa de gemas de ramos de ano ocorreu em maio, quando a intensidade de dormência e a freqüência de gemas dormentes decresceram do ápice para a base do segmento basal dos ramos. A colheita do vime em abril induziu a brotação antes do inverno e prejudicou a brotação primaveril.

Abstract:

A intensidade de dormência e o requerimento em frio do vimeiro (Salix x rubens Shrank) foram avaliados pelo método de estacas de gema isolada. As observações foram realizadas em ramos coletados em Lages, SC, a intervalos regulares de 21 dias, de 29/03/2004 a 2/08/2004. A brotação de gemas dos segmentos basal, mediano e distal de ramos do ano foi avaliada na ausência ou após suplementação de frio (500 ou de 1000 horas a 5 ± 3ºC). A brotação de gemas foi avaliada nos estádios: a) gemas inchadas; b) início da abertura das gemas; c) broto alongado e; d) broto alongado com folha aberta. A intensidade de dormência das gemas foi crescente da base para a ponta dos ramos e foi máxima em 10 de maio, para todas as regiões do ramo. O tratamento com 500 horas de frio foi efetivo em reduzir o tempo para a brotação, em todas as épocas e posições das gemas no ramo. A avaliação até o aparecimento de folhas abertas foi importante para identificar a real capacidade de brotação das gemas.

La présente étude examine l’utilisation des outils de réseau social par les sites gouvernementaux dans les États américains et son incidence sur la transparence gouvernementale et la participation du public. Pour ce faire, des données ont été colligées auprès des sites des gouvernements des cinquante États américains et du district de Columbia. Ces données étaient liées à l’usage fait, par les sites Internet des gouvernements étatiques, des outils de communication en ligne que sont Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, LinkedIn, Vimeo, des fonctions courriel, blogue et clavardage, de même que des boîtes à suggestions et des technologies mobiles de visualisation de pages Web. Les résultats indiquent que la majorité des sites ont recours aux courriels, à Twitter et Facebook et que très peu usent du blogue, de LinkedIn et de Vimeo. Le niveau de mise à jour et d’activité des sites gouvernementaux ainsi que la rapidité dans les réponses aux demandes d’information ont également été analysés.

Abstract:

The determinants of the strategies to be employed by video streaming sites are application (mobile devices or web browsers) and container of the video application. They affect video streaming network characteristics, which is often the traffic flow, and its quality. It is against this background that studies on streaming strategies suggested the need to investigate and identify the relationship between buffer time, video stream protocol, packet speed and size, upload time, and waiting period, specifically to aid network administrative support in case of network traffic bottlenecks. In view of this, this study investigates the network characteristics of YouTube and Vimeo, using experimental methodology, and involving WireShark as network analyzer. Google Chrome and Firefox are the web browsers employed, while packet size, protocols, packet interval, TCP window size and accumulation ratio are the metrics. Short ON-OFF, Long ON-OFF, and No ON-OFF cycles are the three streaming strategies identified. It is further shown that both Vimeo and YouTube employ these strategies but the choice depends on the container of the video streamed.

AbstractAim:The novel Volumetric Image Matching Environment for Radiotherapy (VIMER) was developed to allow users to view both computed tomography (CT) and cone-beam CT (CBCT) datasets within the same 3D model in virtual reality (VR) space. Stereoscopic visualisation of both datasets combined with custom slicing tools and complete freedom in motion enables alternative inspection and matching of the datasets for image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT).Material and methods:A qualitative study was conducted to explore the challenges and benefits of VIMER with respect to image registration. Following training and use of the software, an interview session was conducted with a sample group of six university staff members with clinical experience in image matching.Results:User discomfort and frustration stemmed from unfamiliarity with the drastically different input tools and matching interface. As the primary advantage, the users reported match inspection efficiency when presented with the 3D volumetric renderings of the planning and secondary CBCT datasets.Findings:This study provided initial evidence for the achievable benefits and limitations to consider when implementing a 3D voxel-based dataset comparison VR tool including a need for extensive training and the minimal interruption to IGRT workflow. Key advantages include efficient 3D anatomical interpretation and the capability for volumetric matching.

A personagem dramática, conforme forjada pela tra- dição aristotélico-hegeliana, enfrentou um processo de decomposição e posterior recomposição, sob no- vas bases e nomenclaturas, ao longo do século XX. Abstract:

Em uma era em que a informação é disponibilizada essencialmente em meios digitais, em que a leitura ocorre sobretudo em plataformas virtuais e em que leitores e escritores encontram-se globalmente conectados, o presente artigo evoca o conceito de literacia da informação. Para tanto, apresentam-se os conceitos de alfabetização, letramento e literacia, propostos por Lemos (2002), Pinto (2008) e Soares (2010). Posteriormente, contextualiza-se o fenômeno da desordem informacional, que conduz a um estado de infodemia semiótica. O fenômeno é ilustrado a partir da análise de notícias relacionadas à eclosão, no Brasil, do novo coronavírus, causador da COVID-19, no mês de março de 2020. Aponta-se para a necessidade de promoção de iniciativas voltadas ao desenvol-vimento de competências que contribuam para a consolidação de práticas de literacia da informação, destinadas especialmente a professores e estudantes.

Recently, the main American associations in the dental field reported concerns regarding a film on the Netflix, Amazon, Apple, and Vimeo platforms that reported that endodontic treatments of root canals are linked to serious systemic pathologies, against any scientific evidence. This extreme case highlights how information, in a social networking era, is dramatically conditioned by a small number of users, leading to large scale consequences in political opinions, alimentary choices, or even in healthcare policy. It is urgent to demonstrate a strong awareness by the academic, institutional, and associative bodies in order to restore the correct flow of information on mass media and social networks.

These services also provide options for sharing born-digital material. For those working in higher education there is a need to profile both the personal and the institutional aspects of creative outputs. Investigamos, a partir da perspectiva de Jean Piaget, o nível de desenvolvimen-to da consciência das regras em crianças e adolescentes com Transtorno de défi-cit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH). Participaram da pesquisa 20 sujeitos do sexo masculino, dos quais 10 com idade de 10 anos e 10 com 15 anos, todos com diagnóstico de TDAH e sob tratamento no ambulatório de Pediatria do HUCAM-UFES (Hospital Universitário Cassiano Antônio Moraes). O desenvol-vimento da consciência das regras foi investigado por meio do IANDM (Ins-trumento de Avaliação do Nível do Desenvolvimento Moral). A análise dos dados foi prioritariamente qualitativa e, sobre ela, elaboramos categorias por meio dos quais foi estabelecido o Nível de Resposta ao Item (NRI). Os principais resultados obtidos permitiram verificar que as crianças de 10 anos apresentaram níveis inferiores no NRI em relação aos adolescentes de 15 anos, porém ambos os públicos apresentaram defasagem quanto ao desenvolvimento moral em comparação com a teoria piagetiana. Concluímos que tanto as crianças como os adolescentes construíram um sistema incompleto sob regras prescritas, regras estas que se mantêm exteriores à consciência e não possibilitam a transformação do seu julgamento.

Abstract:

The Canary Islands are a well known tourist destination with generally stable and clement weather conditions. However, occasionally extreme weather conditions occur, which although very unusual, may cause severe damage to the local economy. The ViMetRi-MAC EU funded project has among its goals, managing climate-change-associated risks. The Spanish National Meteorology Agency (AEMET) has a network of weather stations across the eight Canary Islands. Using data from those stations, we propose a novel methodology for the prediction of maximum wind speed in order to trigger an early alert for extreme weather conditions. The methodology proposed has the added value of using an innovative kind of machine learning that is based on the data stream mining paradigm. This type of machine learning system relies on two important features: models are learned incrementally and adaptively. That means the learner tunes the models gradually and endlessly as new observations are received and also modifies it when there is concept drift (statistical instability), in the modeled phenomenon. The results presented seem to prove that this data stream mining approach is a good fit for this kind of problem, clearly improving the results obtained with the accumulative non-adaptive version of the methodology.

A psoríase é uma dermatose inflamatória, que afecta cerca de 2% da população mundial, com envol- vimento preferencial cutâneo e articular, mas frequentemente associada a co-morbilidades importantes. Cerca de 20-30% dos doentes têm formas moderadas a graves, não controláveis por tratamentos tópicos. As terapêuticas sis- témicas clássicas – PUVAterapia oral, retinóides, ciclosporina e metotrexato – podem induzir toxicidade específica de órgão e uma percentagem considerável de doentes é resistente, intolerante ou tem contra-indicações para as iniciar. É neste contexto que surgem os agentes biológicos, especificamente direccionados aos mecanismos/vias envolvidos na patogénese da psoríase. Nos últimos anos a importância destes agentes como alternativas terapêuticas tem crescido, tendo-se desenvolvido vários estudos desenhados para avaliar a sua eficácia e segurança. Actualmente 4 agentes biológicos estão aprovados pela EMEA (agência europeia do medicamento) para o tratamento da psoríase em placas, três anti-TNFα (adalimumab, etanercept e infliximab) e um anti-IL12/23p40 (ustecinumab). Neste artigo pretende- -se actualizar as recomendações anteriormente publicadas (Trabalhos da SPDV 2010, 68(1): 47-68), dada a rápida evolução de conhecimentos científicos e de orientações terapêuticas nesta área. O Livro-jogo é um híbrido textual que combina a forma ramificada de nar- rativa com um sistema de regras de jogos de RPG. Sua origem ainda permanece incerta, mas muitas vezes é atribuída a manifestações anteriores criadas no Reino Unido, como a aventura-solo e a ficção interativa. O presente trabalho busca analisar a obra Rayuela (1963), de Julio Cortázar, como parte fundamental para o desenvol- vimento de livros-jogos, focando principalmente em sua estrutura textual. Será utilizado o conceito de livro-jogo de Silva (2019), bem como de estudiosos da obra de Cortázar como Arrigucci Jr (1973), entre outros. Por ter sido criado no Reino Unido, dificilmente pensar-se-ia como precursora do livro-jogo uma obra latino-americana. Entretanto, muitos elementos de Rayuela ainda hoje fazem parte da estrutura básica de qualquer livro-jogo lançado no mercado editorial. Com isso, essa obra de Cortázar, ao lado de muitas outras de escritores de origem europeia, em sua maioria, mostra ser mais do que uma narrativa experimental da periférica da literatura latino-ameri- cana. Sendo precursora de um gênero textual híbrido que conheceu grande sucesso entre os públicos leitor e gamer dos anos 1980 e 1990, é relevante analisar Rayuela em conexão com novas abordagens de estudos, mais voltadas à temática dos jogos.

Abstract:

COVID-19 has impacted not only higher education teaching practice, but also professional development (PD) such as F2F workshop sessions for supervisor training have had to pivot to online modes. This presentation overviews the process of designing an academic supervision training workshop as an online module that can be used as a design framework for other professional development and training contexts. We used a design-based research methodology (McKenney & Reeves, 2019) encompassing three stages. Stage 1 Evaluation and Analysis We formed a collaborative design team of two academics and a professional staff member and met regularly over Zoom as due to COVID-19 we were all working from home, and across countries (Australia and New Zealand). We began with an evaluation of the existing introductory supervision online module to identify key design elements and refinements that we could integrate into the new refresher module. This was followed by a collaborative definition of the scope of the new PD module that was focused upon providing a ‘Refresher Course’ for experienced higher degree research supervisors. We decided to focus the content of the module upon authentic user-generated scenarios from highly experienced academics across the university. User reflection was designed through an optional link to contribute to an institutional Wiki page to provide tips and comments from user experiences in supervision. The analysis of users needing an informative but short time investment in the refresher module highlighted the need for collating resources that would be referenced throughout the module to be made available at the end of the module as a downloadable interactive PDF resource for users. Stage 2 Collaborative Prototype Design An initial storyboard module prototype based upon learning object and instructional design principles (Boyle, 2003; Author1, 2007; Reigeluth et al., 2016) was created. While we began with big ideas based upon the rapid prototype of how to make the new module interactive and appealing to the users there were significant design restraints imposed by the institutional Course Builder online development platform, that provides a basic Web 1.0 approach to online module design and delivery. This meant that user interaction options were limited, file size uploads were small, and display dimensions fixed. Therefore, Vimeo was used to host and embed the video vignettes in the module pages through an institutional license providing a range of privacy and customisation options. We were able to negotiate these technical design hurdles, albeit with downgraded expectations of user interaction within our new module design. Stage 3 Evaluation and Redesign User feedback on the initial prototype was very positive and the user-generated video vignettes and funky iPad created graphics were highlights. Feedback also highlighted the need for additional user instructions, a more unified design across the module and implementation of accessibility features such as closed captioning for the video vignettes. This was achieved through maintaining a consistent font and paragraphing style and creating a new embedded player style format for the Vimeo video host platform. Closed captions were added by manually transcribing and timecoding the videos on Vimeo.

The article takes a closer look at web series which not only are distributed exclusively via world wide web (usually YouTube and Vimeo) but for which the hypertextuality, modularity or transmediality stand for their essential qualities. I have divided web series into three categories: 1) very cheap, short series and series of a few episodes amateurish in form ; 2) semi-professional series of a longer length, sometimes genre-oriented; 3) professional “extensions” (spin-off’s) of traditional TV series, 4) branded series considered to represent narrative commercials of minor and major brands. The author analyses the form and content of the above regarding both fictional and documentary works; elaborates on one of the most complex examples (“H+. The Digital Series” by Warner Bros.) and finishes with opportunities and disadvantages of such a film form.

Emerging as a new tool and form of criticism and theorizing, the audiovisual essay has stirred many different opinions within the academy, with its many different outcomes. For scholarly purposes, combining it with text, reflection and commentary seems to be the most common and most accepted form of audiovisual essay, easily found all over the internet in well-known video archives such as YouTube and Vimeo. Towards a more poetic end of the spectrum, breaking both the horizontal and vertical dimensions of any work may deepen and reveal new possibilities, often resulting in the creation of new hybrid pieces. This paper aims to demystify these new formats and concepts, focusing on its potentiality as a tool for criticism and its creative possibilities regarding music and, more specifically, opera.

Initially seen as an audiovisual product made mainly for television, the music video, in recent years, has been expanding itself and gaining strength in the virtual environment. The possibility of easy and quick access through websites such as Vimeo and YouTube, besides the greater freedom these sites offer in comparison to the schedules of television channels, was only the beginning of the process of this format’s creative development. Its embracing of the technological changes culminates with the appearance of interactive music videos that strengthen investments made in experiences of digital narratives. O saber também é um instrumento de poder que criou técnicas para disciplinar o corpo individual do trabalhador, técnicas de racionalização e de economia estrita de um poder que deveria se exercer mediante todo um sistema de vigilância, de hierarquias, de inspeções, ou seja, uma tecnologia disciplinar para dar suporte ao mundo do trabalho. O lazer, como tempo de vida e reflexão crítica ao biopo- der implica fruição da vida humano-genérica, isto é, vida social plena de relações humanas interpessoais e é também o principal momento de desenvolvimento das potencialidades do homem. To inform product release and distribution strategies, research has analyzed cross-market spillovers in new product adoption. However, models that examine these effects for digital and viral media are still evolving. Given resistance to advertising, firms often seek to promote their own viral content to boost brand awareness. However, a key shortcoming of virality is its ephemeral nature. To gain insight into sustaining virality, we develop a quasi-experimental approach that estimates the backward spillover onto a focal platform by introducing a piece of content onto a new platform. We posit that introducing content to the audience of a new platform can generate word of mouth, which may affect its consumption within an earlier platform. We estimate these spillovers using data on 381 viral videos on 26 platforms (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo) and observe how consumption of videos on an initial “lead” platform is affected by their subsequent introduction onto “lag” platforms. This spillover is estimated as follows: for each multiplatform video, we compare its view growth after being introduced onto a new platform to that of a synthetic control based on similar single-platform videos. Analysis of 275 such spillover scenarios reveals that introducing a video onto a lag platform roughly doubles its subsequent view growth in the lead platform. This positive cross-platform spillover is persistent, bursty, and strongest in the first 42 days. We find that spillover is boosted when the video is consumed more in the lag platform, when the consumption rate peaks earlier in the lag platform, and when the lag platform targets a foreign market. Our findings suggest that firms can sustain the popularity of their viral content by introducing it onto additional platforms (e.g., Vimeo) after posting it on a focal platform (e.g., YouTube). As a result of their posting on the latter platforms, firms can expect subsequent view growth on the focal platform to roughly double. The aforementioned benefits persists for up to five lag platforms. Platforms should also consider that a positive cross-platform spillover may help platforms reinforce each other’s usage, rather than cannibalize each other.

The anonymous Syrian film collective Abounaddara has posted a new short video on Vimeo and distributed it via social media every Friday since April 2011, the beginning of the Syrian popular uprising. Working with limited equipment, no regular funding, and under very dangerous conditions, Abounaddara has termed its work ‘emergency cinema’, recalling one of the group’s vital influences, Walter Benjamin, who envisioned artistic collectives as potentially effective responses to political violence. This article demonstrates how Abounaddara’s work subverts international and national media coverage of the Syrian conflict by consciously employing what Benjamin described as an artisanal form of storytelling. The author illustrates how and why Abounaddara’s concept of ‘the right to the image’ is politically vital and ethically complex, arguing for its relevance within the broader context of global digital images of state and police violence rousing debates about representation, media ethics, and the circulation of graphic images.

Cet article analyse un mouvement émergent composé d’un groupe d’acteurs (musiciens, adeptes, journalistes, promoteurs) qui proposent une nouvelle forme d’imaginaire collectif grâce à l’utilisation de médias sociaux (Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram), de réseaux de partage et de diffusion (Bandcamp, Mediafire, Dropbox) et d’autres plateformes mixtes multifonctionnelles (Mixcloud, SoundCloud, YouTube, Vimeo). Le Piu Piu, mouvement basé à Montréal, représente une vague régionale de musique électronique post-rap, une nouvelle forme de hip hop instrumental, appartenant à une scène mondiale appelée « beat ». Nous nous intéressons au discours nationaliste et à l’idée de nation, souvent associés au hip hop. Nous croyons que ce discours nationaliste ne cadre plus avec les imaginaires collectifs créés par ceux et celles qui s’identifient au Piu Piu. L’un des facteurs encourageant une reconfiguration de l’imaginaire collectif du Piu Piu repose sur l’appropriation par ses acteurs des nouveaux médias et de leurs codes particuliers. En un clic de souris, ils modèlent, remodèlent, puis démantèlent leur réseau pour ainsi créer de nouvelles chaînes identitaires.

This article explores translational literary Web 2.0 practices and user-generated cultural creations on the Internet, focusing on video poetry that re-creates canonical poets’ bodies of work. It will be argued that the use of for-profit platforms like YouTube and Vimeo by indie creators and translators of video poetry favours the emergence of new translational attitudes, practices and objects that have positive but also contentious effects. One the one hand, these online mediators explore new poetic expressions and tend to make the most of the potential for dissemination of poetic heritage, providing visibility to non-hegemonic literatures. On the other hand, however, these translational digitally-born practices and creations by voluntary and subaltern mediators might reinforce the hegemonic position of large American Internet corporations at the risk of commodifying cultural capital, consolidating English as a lingua franca and perhaps, in the long run, even fostering a potentially monocultural and internationally homogeneous aesthetics.

The paper focuses on an analysis of Kevin B. Lee’s video essay Transformers: The Premake. The Author refers to the narrative components of the film and to the context of its production (which is also one of the themes of the analyzed video essay). Transformers: The Premake is characterized not only by the work of Lee – one of the most appreciated contemporary video essayists – but also as a film on production and audience studies. As a desktop documentary, Lee’s video essay is a self-reflexive film in which the main topic – in this case the more or less conscious participation of spectators in the process of the promotion of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction – remains as important as the editing of The Premake: video essay on the work of contemporary film/video essayist, who shapes the narration of his film with the usage of material available on the Internet (videos on YouTube or Vimeo) and available software (Adobe Premiere, Google Maps, etc.).

Abstract:

A auriculoterapia é uma forma de tratamento e diagnóstico que faz uso do ouvido externo como intermediário. A Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS) a indica como instrumento terapêutico dentro do universo da Medicina Tradicional Chinesa (MTC) para tratar pelo menos 43 estados patológicos distintos. É sabido que o aumento da expectativa de vida da população mundial impulsiona a busca pela melhora na qualidade de vida da terceira idade, desta forma, desco-bertas científicas sustentam a aplicabilidade da MTC, como técnica curativa e preventiva. Realizou-se um estudo experimental, do tipo relato de caso, que propôs um seguimento terapêutico individualiza¬do por meio da técnica aurículocibernética. Observou-se resultados positivos, significativos para a maioria dos casos (p<0,05), no trata¬mento de cefaleias, constipação, insônia, lombalgias, esporão de calcâ¬neo e transtornos da ansiedade, dentre outros. Os dados qualitativos foram codificados, segundo a escala proposta, e comparados de ma¬neira pareada pelo Teste T Student considerando o ponderamento dos valores obtidos no tempo zero e ao término do tratamento. Concluiu¬-se que a auriculoterapia foi efetiva ao reverter os sinais e sintomas patológicos como um todo, bem como, pela significativa satisfação que os indivíduos expressaram ao participar da pesquisa. Sugere-se a reprodutibilidade metodológica e da técnica empregadas, por meio de estudos clínicos que considerem um delineamento amostral mais am¬plo e estratificado, com base em queixas específicas, para o desenvol¬vimento e validação de protocolos.

Abstract:

Los relatos audiovisuales en soporte videográfico utilizados en la difusión de las marcas publicitarias están inmersos en un profundo proceso de transformación. El vídeo se ha consolidado como una herramienta fácilmente comprensible por el usuario y posee la facultad de poder viajar por diversas plataformas digitales generando millonarios impactos, sobre todo, gracias a Internet. Esta versatilidad del vídeo ha propiciado que las fórmulas narrativas tradicionales hayan superado el reto de la dimensión transmedia de los contenidos y que el branded content en soporte videográfico haya sido puesto en valor como un innovador instrumento de comunicación que las marcas publicitarias están utilizando para introducir sus mensajes dentro del contexto de la historia contada, utilizando diferentes plataformas digitales de distribución de contenidos.Este estudio analiza el vídeo como el soporte más aceptado para consumir publicidad en formato branded content en tres campañas publicitarias de éxito, y se hace eco de dos estudios relativos al consumo de contenidos publicitarios en YouTube y Vimeo por medio de los smartphones y otros dispositivos de descarga de contenidos: canales y herramientas que permiten generar elementos de conexión esenciales entre el anunciante y sus públicos. Para este trabajo se ha utilizado un método basado en técnicas de observación y estudio de contenidos branded content en las plataformas online seleccionadas, para contextualizar, después, los resultados con los principales datos relativos al consumo publicitario online aportados por investigaciones realizadas por empresas de consultoría.Previamente, mediante un proceso de revisión documental, se ha enmarcado el ecosistema comunicativo de las nuevas plataformas online y los formatos branded content como soportes de distribución de contenidos. Después, se ha reparado en la innovación expresiva y el impacto mediático de los relatos de branded content en formato videográfico que circulan a través de las plataformas YouTube y Vimeo. Un formato en vídeo que se ha convertido en herramienta habitual en las estrategias de la narración digital para la optimización de las campañas de marketing transmedia o de publicidad de marcas.

Abstract:

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar um relato de experiência sobre as contribuições dos jogos para o processo da alfabetização. Os jogos são recursos utilizados no contexto escolar, sendo que diversos autores assinalam diferentes contribuições para sua inserção na sala de aula, como por exemplo, o desenvol-vimento cognitivo, motor, afetivo e moral. Em relação aos jogos cujo conteúdo contribui para a alfabetização, destaca-se a possibilidade de trabalho com as pro-priedades da língua, ou seja, com o sistema de escrita alfabético, a consciência fonológica, a morfologia das palavras, seu aspecto semântico, a ampliação de vo-cabulário e, também, a possibilidade de inserção da criança na cultura letrada. Assim, realizou-se um estudo documental dos registros de uma professora que em 2013 planejou e desenvolveu um projeto de jogos com uma turma de 1º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Desse modo, o objetivo da pesquisa consistiu em anali-sar de que forma a inserção dos jogos pode viabilizar o processo de apropriação do sistema de escrita alfabético pelos alunos e verificar se os jogos contribuíram para o processo de alfabetização dos discentes. Logo, apresentam-se os jogos utilizados, seus objetivos, a forma de apresentação desses materiais, organização da turma para as partidas e comentários da professora sobre esta experiência. Com base nos relatos docentes e nos registros de aprendizagem dos alunos é possível inferir que os jogos consistem em uma importante ferramenta para o docente planejar ações que atendam as especificidades dos alunos e realizar um trabalho sis-tematizado com a escrita alfabética.

GalileoMobile is a non-profit, itinerant, science outreach initiative that brings Astronomy closer to young people in areas with little or no access to outreach programs. We perform astronomy-related activities in schools and communities we visit and encourage follow-up activities through teacher training workshops and the donation of telescopes and other educational resources. GalileoMobile also extends its impact to a worldwide audience through deliverable products. Our work is shared worldwide through the production of documentaries, books and a wide range of Internet resources (OfficialWebsite - www.galileo-mobile.org - and Blog, Facebook page, Google+,Twitter, Youtube and Vimeo). GalileoMobile is an unprecedented initiative promoting science knowledge and the interaction beyond borders through Astronomy while raising awareness for the diversity of human cultures, conveying the message of “unity under the same sky”. We take advantage of the local astronomical culture of the visited communities to establish a dialogue between different ways of understanding the world and to share different types of knowledge (historic, scientific, anthropological . . .), encouraging a process of mutual learning.
