Full textThe study aims to investigate and identify the attitudes of the demographic groups (Women 20-30, Men 20-30, Women 35-55 and Men 35-55) towards viral campaigns in the Swedish food industry. Furthermore, the study aims to see what kinds of viral campaigns are being spread and why within the selected demographic groups. Finally, the study examines the influence of passive and active viral campaigns on attitudes and spread within the demographic groups. To answer the study's questions, three methods have been selected to extract relevant material. Firstly, a literature review was conducted to survey past research. Secondly, the main method consisted of four focus groups that were divided based on their demographics (Women 20-30, Men 20-30, Women 35-55 and Men 35-55). Finally, an analysis of the collected data was performed, which is based on creating overall and meaningful categories based on assumptions mentioned in the data collection. The final categories were Attitudes, Spread and Passive / Active messages.Based on the results and the discussion part of the study, it appears that relatable humor is the strongest factor when it comes to spreading a campaign in any of the study's demographic groups. Very little is being spread across Facebook regarding the Swedish food industry's campaigns and to increase this, the factor that is earlier mentioned must be taken into account more than it does today, according to all demographic groups in the study. The study's demographic groups prefer both passive and active campaigns as long as they are presented in a humorous way. Younger men however, also prefer controversial advertising, this opinion was however not shared with the rest of the demographic groups.

Full textResearch questions: What is the relationship between internal marketing and customer orientation within the Swedish banking industry? What are the knowledge gaps in the relationship between internal marketing and customer orientation? Purpose: The purpose of this study is twofold. Firstly, the study aims to contribute with an understanding of how the relationship between internal marketing and customer orientation can be studied through empirical examination of theories in an untested context. Secondly, the study intends to discover the relationship's future research focus through a systematic literature review. Method: By using a deductive approach, quantitative data has been collected from employees in the Swedish banking industry. An online survey was distributed to a number of local bank branches, which resulted in 66 complete responses that form the basis of the study's first conclusion. Through a systematic literature review, future research areas have been identified and presented. Conclusions: There is a significant correlation between employees' perceptions of internal marketing practices and their willingness to act according to customer-oriented behaviours in the Swedish banking industry. To establish generalizability of the relationship between the variables, a future research focus has been identified. Future studies should apply multi-method research when studying the phenomenon.

Full textTitle: Tobacco in the 21st century – the marketing and perception of Philip Morris Author: Tobias Aronson & Stina Örwén Tutor: Anne-Marie Morhed Purpose: The purpose of this thesis was to study Philip Morris marketing, the perception of the brand and the reason why smokers buy certain cigarettes. How they market their brands in the 21st century. The key questions we are aiming to resolve in this essay is how Philip Morris market their own brand and their products, what aspects do consumers think about when they purchase cigarettes, and if the consumers experience the influence from the tobacco companies marketing. Method/Material: The material being used in this study was a survey that consisted of 113 people who purchased cigarettes at different grocery stores in Uppsala and an online-survey that only people whom smokes filled out. This survey consisted of 113 respondents. Main results: The main results that are demonstrated in our study is that the majority of people started smoking because it was social. The taste, routine and brand were the three most important aspects when purchasing cigarettes. Out of the 113 respondents from the survey, 73 of them smoked Camel, Lucky Strike or Marlboro which in conclusion proves that the brand plays an important role when purchasing cigarettes. We have also come to the conclusion that it is the smokers themselves that are the main source for marketing of cigarettes. The most interesting conclusion is the gap between smokers who think the brand plays an important role in the choice of cigarettes and their own attitude towards the tobacco companies. Our study demonstrates that the respondents believes that the brand is important in the choice of cigarettes but they do not experience any influence from the tobacco companies. Another result is the on about the paradox of Philip Morris will to grow as a company and the engaging in anti-smoking campaigns is a way of marketing and branding their own brand.
