From 1997 to 2004, 67213 ha were surveyed in Vojvodina in order to determine the incidence and distribution of beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV) the causer of Rhizomania on sugar beet in the fields in Vojvodina. The number of inspected hectares was different and ranged from 4.427 ha in 2004 to 19.254 ha in 2002.
