Abstract:
Calcineurin inhibitors (CNI) can suppress allo- and autoimmunity by suppressing T cell function but also have anti-proteinuric effects by stabilizing the cellular components of the kidney’s filtration barrier. Therefore, CNI are used in autoimmune kidney diseases with proteinuria. However, the traditional CNI, cyclosporine A and tacrolimus, have a narrow therapeutic range, need monitoring of drug levels, and their use is associated with nephrotoxicity and metabolic alterations. Voclosporin (VOC), a novel CNI, no longer requires drug level monitoring and seems to lack these adverse effects, although hypertension and drug–drug interactions still occur. VOC demonstrated efficacy superior to standard-of-care in controlling active lupus nephritis in the phase 2 AURA-LV and the phase 3 AURORA-1 trials and was approved for the treatment of active lupus nephritis. However, how to implement VOC into the current and changing treatment landscape of lupus nephritis is still debated. Here, we review the unique chemistry, pharmacology, and toxicity profile of VOC, summarize the efficacy and safety data from the AURA-LV and AURORA-1 trials, and discuss the following four possible options to implement VOC into the management of lupus nephritis, namely regarding B cell-targeting therapy with belimumab (BEL). These include: 1. patient stratification to either VOC or BEL, 2. VOC/BEL combination therapy, 3. VOC-BEL sequential therapy, or 4. alternative options for the rapid antiproteinuric effect of VOC.

Abstract:
Lycoris, which is known as the ‘Chinese tulip,’ has diverse flower colors and shapes, and some species have a delicate fragrance. However, limited studies have reported the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of Lycoris. In this study, headspace solid-phase microextraction combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to analyze the floral VOCs of six typical Lycoris taxa. Thirty-two VOCs were identified, including terpenoids, alcohols, esters, aldehydes, ketones, and phenols. The aldehyde and terpenoid contents in Lycoris aurea were higher than in the other taxa, and the ester and alcohol contents in L. sprengeri were the highest compared to all taxa tested. Compared with other species and cultivars, L. longituba and L. longituba var. flava were the two most scented taxa and the VOCs were dominated by terpenoids and esters. L. radiate and L. chinensis were two unscented taxa and, accordingly, the VOC content was weak. A partial least squares discriminate analysis of the floral VOCs among the six Lycoris taxa showed that the six taxa could be successfully separated. Moreover, the VOCs of L. longituba and L. longituba var. flava clustered together. β-Ocimene was verified as the most important aroma compound, as determined via the calculation of the variable importance in projection values and significance analysis. β-Ocimene and its trans isomer, trans-β-ocimene, had a high relative content in L. longituba, L. longituba var. flava, L. aurea, and L. chinensis but were not detected in L. sprengeri and L. radiata. These results indicate that floral VOCs might be selected during the evolutional processes of Lycoris, and β-ocimene could be the most typical VOC among the different Lycoris taxa.

L’admiration bien connue de Mallarmé pour Aloysius Bertrand ne se limite pas à la filiation formelle du poème en prose, mais engage la question plus vaste de la musicalité. Bertrand posait dans Gaspard de la nuit la défaite de l’harmonie, que représentent la harpe, la viole et autres instruments à cordes associés au chant du ménestrel, comme une origine du volume dont il ne cessait de rappeler la dimension, et condition, livresque. Les indications typographiques de Bertrand à son éditeur Victor Pavie et les allusions métapoétiques de ses poèmes suggèrent qu’il a trouvé dans le poème en prose la forme appropriée à une époque où les développements de l’imprimerie ont achevé d’ensevelir le chant et les prestiges de la voix. Dans ces conditions, la typographie revêt une importance essentielle : compenser la perte du chant en s’instituant comme signature, au même titre que le « grain de la voix ». Mallarmé s’empare de la question du livre et de la voix à l’endroit où Bertrand l’avait abandonnée de manière à en faire maintenant celle du poète et du lecteur, donc, à assumer un nouveau mode d’intelligibilité du texte en sa production comme en sa réception. En confrontant les textes de Mallarmé à ceux de Bertrand, cet article montre que, là où le poète romantique aura éprouvé la mise en page du chant comme une perte, Mallarmé aura réussi à penser la voix muette du texte comme un objet positif rendant possible la pleine autonomie de l’écriture poétique.

La traduction pratique du français-langue maternelle-français ne se conçoit guère à cause de notre tradition éducative coloniale. Ce travail aura ainsi pour tâche de traduire les voix françaises en igbo, une des trois principales langues du Nigeria, tout en soulevant les problèmes de traduction qui se posent et en proposant les solutions qui s'imposent.

Abstract This paper explores variations in portrayals of cooperation and friendship in legends of martyrs, focussing on the ›The Legend of Saints Protus and Hyacinth‹ in different historical contexts. When adapting the legend in the fifteenth-century, the compiler and copyist Sister Regula amended the standard ›Legenda Aurea‹ version by introducing an additional plot line recounting cooperation between two female martyrs. In turn, in the nineteenth century, the Swiss author Gottfried Keller dismissed the notion of spiritual friendship altogether and replaced it with the ideal of a hierarchical relationship between spouses.

Abstract:
Walter Benjamin formulated the concept of the aura in 1930 while experimenting with hashish. He describes an aura as the essence of an object that is only present in the act of perception. The aura changes from one occurrence of its perception to another. After the hashish trance, the perceiver can not remember the essence of an object - it's aura. The aura has an ambiguity, as well as various meanings in Benjamin's works: a) The aura is used in bourgeois art appreciation and criticism as a criteria to access art. Aura refers to subjective perception or ability, the paradigm of enlightenment. b) The aura is the unique perception of the essence or materiality of an object, one that cannot be represented by means of the signification of language. c) The aura exists in perception, therefore in the relationship between subject and object. d) Benjamin attributes perception of the aura as close, yet distanced in order to describe an auratic perception. e) An auratic perception exists outside of everyday life/routine and only as an autonomous artistic perception. f) An experience can be auratic in so far as an individual can understand the essence of his/her environment in relation to history. By postulating an auratic experience that grasps materiality in its totality Benjamin 4uestions the position of the subject in German Idealism, epitomised by Hegel's practical idea. At the same time Benjamin realises that materiality cannot be represented in its totality in the discourse of signification. Thereby the aura can only gain a metaphoric access to representation. Technology denies any auratic perception or experience, as such the auratic exists only in the hypothesis of a historical origin, such as a metaphysical paradisical condition. The commodity structure stands as a paradigm for modern perception and experience. Commodity fetishism denies the subject an auratic interaction and the relation between subject and object is phantasmagoria!. An auratic perception or experience is replaced by one determined by technology. Benjamin calls the latter one of actuality. Thereby the commodity denies an experience leading to the concept of totality. Benjamin's formulation of the concept of the aura has been seen as his turn to Marxism. A clear demarcation has been drawn between his metaphysical and Marxist writings. My thesis argues that such a division is inadequate and that the common demoninator between Benjamin's earlier and later work has not been analysed sufficiently. Bibliography: pages 225-236.

Resumo: Nesta dissertação, procuramos, em primeiro lugar, resgatar historicamente o movimento de dança expressionista alemão, em virtude da sua importância, visto que este movimento teve uma forte repercussão no âmbito mundial, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento da dança moderna, podendo até hoje ser vistos claros reflexos seus no Tanztheater e no Butoh. Este movimento também deixou suas marcas no Brasil, na medida em que diversos profissionais, que tiveram um papel importante no estabelecimento da dança no Brasil, terem sido fortemente influenciados pela dança expressionista alemã. Todavia, como não seria possível, no âmbito limitado desta dissertação, abarcar a trajetória de todos os profissionais que tiveram forte ligação com esta estética, optamos por focalizar apenas o trabalho de dois artistas: Yanka Rudzka e Aurel von Milloss. As razões que nos levaram a focalizar o trabalho desenvolvido por Yanka Rudzka e por Aurel von Milloss, estão ligadas ao fato da primeira ter sido a fundadora da faculdade de dança da Universidade Federal da Bahia, representando o início do movimento de inserção da dança no mundo universitário e, do segundo ter exercido uma forte influência na formação de uma geração de profissionais, dentre os quais constam professores e coreógrafos que atuam até hoje, como: Ady Addor, Ismael Guiser, Márika Gidali, Neyde Rossi, entre outros, desempenhando um papel importante no cenário da dança acadêmica no Brasil

Ausgehend von Benjamins Texten erörtert die Wissenschaftsphilosophin Christine Blättler das in den Science Studies diskutierte Verhältnis von Genesis und Geltung und die damit verbundene Frage hinsichtlich der angemessenen Darstellungsweise von Erfahrung unter epistemologischen und sozialphilosophischen Gesichtspunkten. Sie geht dabei vom New Experimentalism aus, welcher sich gegen den in der Wissenschaftstheorie lange Zeit vorherrschenden Primat der Theorie wendet. Dem Experiment wird dabei eine autonome und objektive Funktion in der Wissensgenerierung zugesprochen. Diese Hinwendung zum Experiment steht zugleich für eine Abwendung vom Subjekt und für eine verstärkte Zuwendung zu dem, was sich als eine aperspektivische Objektivität bezeichnen ließe. Blättler setzt an diesem Punkt an, um mithilfe von Benjamins Begriff der Konstellation und seinen Überlegungen zum Erfahrungs- und Wahrnehmungswandel zu einer flexibleren Auffassung bezüglich des Verhältnisses von Objekt, Technik und Subjekt zu gelangen, die es erlaubt, den Gegensatz von Genesis und Geltung zu überwinden.

Nach Jennings basiert Benjamins Vorstellung, dass es in der Gegenwart noch keine Religion geben kann, auf der Überzeugung, dass die Bedingungen für die Möglichkeit von Religion erst nach dem Ende der Geschichte gegeben sind. In einem zweiten Schritt geht er den verborgenen Spuren des Konzepts der apokastastasis in Benjamins medientheoretischen Schriften nach. La investigación en las conexiones que se generan cuando unimos el barro con las nuevas tecnologías, impulsan la creación de la obra “DIME ALGO DULCE, CARIÑO”, presentada en la XVI Edición de ARTE EN LA TIERRA, que se celebró el pasado agosto en La Rioja. Para realizar esta obra construimos seis esculturas de gran formato con una tonelada de barro, inspirándonos en los respiraderos naturales de bodegas del patrimonio local, decisión que le otorgó un aura de permanencia. Tres de los volúmenes ocultaban en su interior unas grabadoras con sensor de voz que registraba los mensajes que dejaba el espectador al planeta tierra. Transformamos con “DIME ALGO DULCE, CARIÑO” el paisaje del Valle de Ocón. Creamos un espacio natural de interacción, un ambiente sensible en el campo de labranza que nos cedió un lugareño. Para conseguirlo, eliminamos la tecnología a la vista de los espectadores, logrando crear un espacio en el que el visitante se reconectaba a la tierra y de una manera espontánea se comunicaba con ella. Las esculturas, los respiraderos de barro, se convirtieron en canales de comunicación configurando un espacio totémico, un ambiente sensible capaz de recoger las emociones de los visitantes. Así, tecnología, narración y espacio se funden, creando un nuevo tipo de relación hombre máquina caracterizada por la espontaneidad y en la que predomina el factor humano (Molina 2008). Con el material recopilado en las grabaciones, hemos recreado el entorno en un mundo virtual online. Para ello, hemos modelado en 3D un entorno virtual, interpretando las seis esculturas y el terreno que las rodeaba. Este entorno lo hemos introducido en una web y podemos navegar por él con una interacción sencilla. A cada una de las esculturas le hemos asignados 11 mensajes de voz, de este modo el usuario podrá escuchar, acercándose a las esculturas.

Este trabalho busca entender como e se a experiência de entretenimento obtida ao assistir vídeos na plataforma social Tik Tok, que utiliza ferramentas de edição e design, como filtros de distorção para aparência física e voz, também é uma experiência imersiva que causa choque ao usuário, conforme entendido por Walter Benjamin (2010), quando esse sujeito comunicacional é atravessado por uma sensação do moderno, e que tem, como consequência, a desintegração da aura na experiência do choque. Segundo Rouanet (1990) “a instância psíquica encarregada de captar e absorver o choque passa a dominar as instâncias encarregadas de armazenar as impressões da memória”. Nesse caso, a consciência tem a função de “servir de proteção contra estímulos, sublimando impactos, amadurecendo o susto em angústia ou diversão, para não sucumbir ao espanto ”(PEIXOTO, 1983), e pode estar ligada à produção de conteúdos de rápida circulação e absorção, feitos exclusivamente para redes sociais e plataformas como o Tik Tok. Plataformas com os trabalhos com este design também são guiados pelas mãos dos usuários, com a criação de conteúdos para chocar um público imerso no que se chama de Cultura do Snack (SCOLARI, 2020). Quanto a uma cultura que desenvolve um formato de conteúdo audiovisual sensorial, esses conteúdos provocam um efeito sensorial, uma experiência breve e efêmera dentro de um projeto que pode ser entendido como artístico e criado em uma dinâmica entre o lúdico e o entretenimento. O efeito sensorial desses conteúdos oferece uma experiência única e inédita, típica de uma obra de arte de vanguarda. Nos “fliperamas contemporâneos” da Internet, os vídeos, tanto do Tik Tok quanto de outras plataformas com características semelhantes, possuem ferramentas semelhantes criadas diariamente, aumentando o número de acessos, buscando reter o usuário da mídia e parecem tentar conduzi-lo a uma experiência imersiva em um sistema de Economia da Atenção, descrito por Jonathan Crary (2015) como algo que “dissolve a separação entre o pessoal e o profissional, entre entretenimento e informação, deslocada por uma funcionalidade obrigatória de comunicação inerente e inescapavelmente 24/7”. Junto com estas ideias está a visão de Simon Reynolds (2010), de que a cultura popular tornou-se um remix ou releitura de algo feito antes, a partir de qualquer tipo de informação disponível. Portanto, deste ponto de vista, a reapropriação torna-se infinita — algo que você vê nos vídeos do Tik Tok. Este texto é construído aplicado à prática comunicacional do uso de plataformas e uma tentativa de compreender os caminhos da mídia contemporânea que se delineiam com a plataforma da cultura. As plataformas, por si só eventos de comunicação, levantam questões sobre uma nova circulação de bens e gestos por parte dos sujeitos comunicacionais que atuam nesta frequência. É uma obra que se posiciona diante da urgência contemporânea da vida on-line, de suas rápidas transformações e das buscas da sociedade em um tempo que exige um pensamento crítico sobre o momento em que vivemos.

Este trabajo busca entender si la experiencia de entretenimiento obtenida al ver videos en la plataforma social Tik Tok, que utiliza herramientas de edición y diseño, así como filtros de distorsión para apariencia física y voz, es también una experiencia inmersiva que causa un shock en el usuario, como lo entiende Walter Benjamin (2010), cuando el sujeto comunicacional es atravesado por una sensación de lo moderno y que tiene como consecuencia la desintegración del aura en la experiencia del shock. Según Rouanet (1990), “la instancia psíquica encargada de capturar y absorber el shock empieza a dominar sobre las instancias encargadas de almacenar impresiones de memoria”. En este caso, la conciencia tiene la función de “servir de protección frente a estímulos, sublimar impactos y madurar el susto en angustia o diversión para no sucumbir frente al asombro” (PEIXOTO, 1983), y puede vincularse a la producción de contenidos de rápida circulación y absorción, realizados exclusivamente para redes sociales y plataformas como Tik Tok. Las plataformas que trabajan con ese tipo de diseño también son guiadas por las manos de los usuarios, mediante la creación de contenidos para impactar a una audiencia inmersa en lo que se denomina Cultura Snack (SCOLARI, 2020). Como una cultura que desarrolla un formato de contenido audiovisual sensorial, estos contenidos provocan un efecto sensorial, una experiencia breve y efímera dentro de un proyecto que puede entenderse como artístico y creado en una dinámica entre lo lúdico y el entretenimiento. El efecto sensorial de estos contenidos ofrece una experiencia única e inédita, propia de una obra de arte de vanguardia. En las “salas de juego contemporáneas” de Internet, los videos tanto de Tik Tok, así como de otras plataformas con características similares, tienen herramientas parecidas, creadas diariamente aumentando el número de accesos, buscando retener al usuario de los medios y parecen intentar llevar al usuario a un experiencia inmersiva en un sistema de Economía de la Atención, como lo describe Jonathan Crary (2015), describiéndolo como algo que “disuelve la separación entre lo personal y lo profesional, entre entretenimiento e información, desplazada por una funcionalidad obligatoria de comunicación inherente e ineludiblemente 24/7”. Junto a estas ideas, está la visión de Simon Reynolds (2010) de que la cultura popular se ha convertido en una remezcla o relectura de algo hecho antes, en base a cualquier tipo de información disponible. Por lo tanto, desde este punto de vista, la reapropiación se vuelve infinita, algo que se ve en los videos de Tik Tok. Este texto se construye aplicado a la práctica comunicacional del uso de plataformas y es un intento de comprender los caminos mediáticos contemporáneos que se perfilan con la plataforma de la cultura. Las plataformas, un evento de comunicación en sí mismo, plantean interrogantes sobre una nueva circulación de bienes y gestos por parte de sujetos comunicacionales que actúan en esta frecuencia. Esta es una obra que se posiciona frente a la urgencia contemporánea de la vida en línea, sus rápidas transformaciones y la búsqueda de la sociedad en un tiempo que requiere un pensamiento crítico sobre el momento en que vivimos, para dar cuenta del momento en que vivimos.
