Povzetek V članku je predstavljen poseben izziv, ki mu je, po mnenju avtorja, izpostavljena Slovenska vojska z novim paketom ciljev zmogljivosti 2017. Ta namreč predvideva vzpostavitev srednjih bataljonskih bojnih skupin (SrBBSk) z vozili, ki so opremljena s 30 mm topom. This thesis covers the topic of controlling RC servos and constructions of robotic vehicles. The goal is to propose a model of robotic vehicle with RC components and other off the shelf components, 3D printing and demonstrate its capabilities. In the thesis, a mobile robot platform was proposed. It uses a single-board computer together with readily available parts and does not require complicated assembly. An optimization algorithm was used for the design of rack and pinion steering. The result of the thesis is the implementation of a robotic vehicle.

Digitalne tehnologije so eden izmed pomembnih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na digitalno preobrazbo. Umetna inteligenca izboljšuje funkcionalnost naprav, ki jih vsakodnevno uporabljamo, v ospredju se pojavlja robotika, ki avtomatizira proizvodne procese, pojavljajo se avtonomna vozila, virtualna realnost nam je bližja kot kdaj koli doslej. Organizacije si želijo slediti digitalnim smernicam in tako iščejo načine, kako bi digitalno tehnologijo, ki jo imajo na voljo, čim bolje izrabile za dosego zastavljenih ciljev. Skladno s tem se spreminjajo in razvijajo tudi tehnološki trendi. Čeprav je digitalna tehnologija v zadnjem desetletju dosegla zrelost, se trend razvoja na tem področju ne umirja. Tisto, kar je danes aktualno, čez nekaj let ali morda še prej ne bo več. V prispevku je predstavljen razvoj digitalnih tehnologij in prebojne tehnologije, ki trenutno narekujejo digitalno preobrazbo. The positive and negative aspects of using Facebook© as a crucial communication tool between Aboriginal academics and their Aboriginal students will be discussed within this chapter. Initially, the authors’ use of Facebook © was to provide support for our Australian Aboriginal students within their own communities. The original intention was to supplement existing electronic forums provided by the University to maintain contact with students between study blocks, encourage reluctant technology users to interact online, and build links to the students’ own communities and families. In 2009, the authors’ students were involved in a research project (Milton, Gruppetta, Vozzo & Mason, 2009) and their use of Facebook © to interact with students was recognised as innovative and the authors were encouraged to investigate the potential within another research project (Vozzo, et al., 2011). From a peripheral practice conducted by two Australian Aboriginal academics, the importance of utilizing Facebook © to build social capital and support an Indigenous Academic community has become crucial to the success and retention of our Aboriginal tertiary students. The authors’ most recent research project relies heavily on Facebook © as the main communication tool due to the vast distances between Aboriginal communities in Australia and the variety of technology provided by each state/territory.

V zadnjih letih je opazen trend uveljavljanja avtomobilov na električni pogon. Praktično vsi proizvajalci imajo v svoji ponudbi modelov tudi avtomobile, ki vsaj delno uporabljajo električni pogon. Poleg baterijskih električnih avtomobilov, ki zaenkrat še nimajo znatnega tržnega deleža, namreč čedalje več vozil, ki jih poganja motor z notranjim izgorevanjem, vsaj v manjši meri tega dopolnjuje še z električnim pogonom.
