This thesis covers the topic of controlling RC servos and constructions of robotic vehicles. The goal is to propose a model of robotic vehicle with RC components and other off the shelf components, 3D printing and demonstrate its capabilities. In the thesis, a mobile robot platform was proposed. It uses a single-board computer together with readily available parts and does not require complicated assembly. An optimization algorithm was used for the design of rack and pinion steering. The result of the thesis is the implementation of a robotic vehicle.

This paper also describes electric schemes used to control the car and their placement on the car. The diploma thesis deals with a data analysis of the Formula Student race car. An attention is given for both, vehicle and driver. Processes of braking, turning and balance of car are analysed. Special attention is given to the dampers positions while driving and their settings. Dampers velocity histograms and ride frequencies graph are put together. Algorithms in MATLAB are suggested to reduce requested time for analysis. Scripts for displaying important channels are made. Analyzed data are used to create events which accelerate orientation in record and tell the most important information.

The thesis deals with the design, realisation and functional verification of an electronic cruise control unit. Required inputs, outputs and controller of the control unit are identified first. The design and layout of the electronical components, including the processor, power supply and other necessary hardware is discussed. The algorithm for the control unit is developed in C/C++ and thoroughly analysed. The functionality of the cruise control unit equipped with the algorithm is verified through a case study performed on a combustion engine.
