Abstract:
Politolog Stein Ringen z Oxfordské univerzity nabízí čtenářům provokativní zamyšlení nad principy demokratického vládnutí: jak vláda přiměje občany, aby respektovali její autoritu? Každá vláda musí prosazovat i nepopulární opatření, od výběru daní přes vymáhání práva po dodržování předpisů. Podle Ringena na to však síla nestačí; občané musejí být ochotní se podřídit a nechat se vést. Autor tento politický rébus rozplétá bez rozpaků, na příkladu Spojených států a Velké Británie břitce a přesvědčivě demonstruje, jak se vytváří a udržuje národní kultura poslušnosti. Ukazuje, jakými cestami se musejí vydat vůdci, kteří chtějí vládnout pomocí autority spíše než pomocí síly a kteří chtějí, řečeno s Immanuelem Kantem, „udržet pořádek v národě ďáblů“.

Abstrakt: Historicko-pedagogická studie pojednává o mezinárodním hnutí Camphill, důvodech jeho vzniku ve čtyřicátých letech 20. století, o úloze rakouského lékaře Karla Königa v roli nejen duchovního vůdce hnutí, stejně jako o motivaci zakladatelů hnutí k založení prvního společenství. Studie si klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře s myšlenkovými východisky hnutí Camphill v kontextu doby jeho vzniku a v kontextu základního ideového rámce, z něhož hnutí čerpalo – anthroposofe. Popisuje rovněž úlohu léčebné pedagogiky a sociální trojčlennosti jako základních pilířů camphillu. Klíčová slova: hnutí Camphill, anthroposofe, Karl König, Rudolf Steiner, léčebná pedagogika, idea sociální trojčlennosti.

Po svržení Saddáma Husajna v roce 2003 kontrolovaly americké a britské jednotky velkou část Iráku. Zatímco v sunnitských oblastech čelily sílícímu odporu, v regionech obývaných šíity se Američané i další zahraniční vojáci dlouho těšili když ne přízni, tak alespoň toleranci – toleranci, k níž šíity vyzval jejich duchovní vůdce ájatolláh Sístání. Zanedlouho tento klerik naopak americkým elitám překazil úmysly. Namísto jejich plánu, aby byl nový irácký parlament vybrán prověřeným sborem volitelů, prosadil Sístání skutečně demokratický princip: jeden volič – jeden hlas. Už jen tyto epizody dokládají význam často opomíjené politicko-společenské síly Blízkého východu – šíitského duchovenstva. Monografie Lucie Jírů shrnuje postavení šíitského kléru v novodobé historii regionu, a usnadňuje tak rovněž pochopení nynějšího dění.

Abstract:
The main topic of this master thesis is modern opinion leaders and their influence on consumption behavior of teenagers. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the opinion leaders of the modern age, to analyze their area of influence and to derive their influence on the consumer behavior of adolescents. The partial aim of the master thesis is the comparison of boys and girls. In the theoretical part, opinion leaders are defined, as well as their social networking and their influence in the marketing purposes. The consumer behavior of teenagers and the types of opinion leaders who influence them are described in detail. The practical part deals with social media influencers and determines the degree of their influence on teenagers' purchases. The actual research was carried out through questionnaire surveys and group discussions.

The main goal of the thesis was to find out why leaders decide the way they do. Using the example of the Cuban Crisis from 1962 I try to analyze the decision making process of the american president John F. Kennedy and the soviet leader Nikita S. Khrushchev. The Cuban Crisis was the most dangerous moment since World War II and the world got to the edge of a nuclear war. The lives of thousands of people were in the hands of the two leaders. Their decision making process was influenced by many internal and external factors and in this thesis I am trying to find out which factors and to what extent had the biggest influence on their decisions.

Tato práce popisuje kvality a nedostatky manažerů úspěšné a nyní krachující české elektro-montážní firmy. Obsahuje teoretické poznatky, analýzu zkoumaného souboru, vyhodnocení a doporučení každému manažerovi. Model efektivního manažera je rozdělen do 4 částí: Osobnost, sebeřízení, manažer a tým, vedení lidí. Na závěr se v práci čtenář může dovědět něco nového na základě srovnání manažerů v manažerské mřížce GRID a podrobný popis výsledků z mřížky. Dále doporučení firmě jako celku, aby se nedostala do nesnází a dále mohla růst.

Abstract:
The aim of the dissertation called Motivation as a tool of performance management is to analyze the present condition of the motivation system in the company Ahold and eventually base on recognized imperfections to suggest and help increase employee performance. The dissertation is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part leader and manager, motivation, sources of motivation, theories of motivation and achievement motivation are defined. Further attention is devoted to direction and evaluation of work performance. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which contains company characteristics, analysis of the current motivation system, where empirical research investigates motivation and her impact on satisfaction and performance employee. At the end of the dissertation there are stated and proposed recommended changes, which should contribute to better performance and motivation of the employee.

The objective of this master's thesis is to examine the concept of opinion leadership-to define it, to describe where it originated from, how it has developed over time, and finally, to apply this phenomenon to the Czech journalist community and its current members. Based on relevant international literature, the author of this paper assumes that opinion leaders exist in every social group or community around the globe, possessing an extraordinary personal influence on the decision-making and opinion-forming process of the people within their social network. Simply put, opinion leaders are the individuals to whom others look for guidance, credible and accurate information and context when they are in doubt or experiencing indecisiveness. For journalists, the possibility to have someone to whom they can turn for all the above-mentioned is crucial, the author believes, for it is a daily part of the profession to handle information cautiously, to evaluate news critically and objectively, and to get acquainted with a confusing topic in a relatively short period of time. This thesis discusses the role of Instagram influencers in the lives of Czech teenage girls aged 15-18. The aim of the thesis is to understand how girls perceive these online creators, what kind of relationship they have with them and what role they play in their lives. Emphasis is placed on real experience girls have with Instagram and with the creation of influencers. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes relevant theories, literature and research on selected issues. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the evaluation of the research, which was carried out with the help of a qualitative research method. In total, seven semi-structured in- depth interviews were carried out with teenage girls actively using Instagram. The main finding is that Instagram influencers are a natural part of these girls' lives. Relationships between followers and online creators can be described as parasocial. In order to succeed on Instagram, an influencer must be authentic, while the degree of proximity in the influencer-follower relationship is also important. The research pointed to a possible online platform migration of both influencers and followers, where Instagram is the target platform for users to operate. In this dissertation I focus on the Czech (Czechoslovak) politician Karel Kramář and his political thought. This work describes Kramář's political career and also aims to capture the development of his political opinions. This is the first Czech attempt to bring the complete and objective political biography of the first Czechoslovak Prime Minister. Karel Kramář has always stirred emotions in Czechoslovakia, both positive and negative ones. We can study books, which praise Karel Kramář, or books, which criticize him. These books are usually from the era of the First Czechoslovak Republic. During World War II, the name of Karel Kramář was unwelcome because of his opinion on the Germans, after the year 1948 because of his attitude to the Soviet Union and the Bolsheviks. That is why we have only partial studies about some aspects of Kramář's politics. Year 1989 brought no change, except for the increased focus on Kramář's politics. In spite of this fact we still did not have the book about Karel Kramář and his political life and thought which would be written by a Czech author. We just had to read books from German historian Martina Winkler or Russian historian Elena Pavlovna Serapionova. Their work concentrated just on some topics of Kramář's political thought.
