AbstractAs the evangelist's literary technique requires, this article studies the narrative in John 4:43-54 starting from a count of the number of syllables (= s.) and words (= w.) of its parts. In toto the story uses 450 s. in 222 w. Essentially, a central part vv. 48-52 (of 168 s. in 84 w.) is framed by vv. 46c47 and vv. 53-54 (each 75 s.). This central section supplements the introductory vv. 43-46b (132 s.). Two chitosan silica hybrid materials were prepared by a two-step process in 78–84% yields using the homogeneous phase reaction of 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl isocyanate with chitosan dissolved in 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ionic liquid (∼10% w/w), which was followed by NH4OH catalyzed hydrolysis of triethoxysilyl groups and then sol-gel process. Paleomagnetic poles from the Upper Proterozoic Mackenzie Mountains supergroup (MMs) of northwestern Canada define an apparent polar wander path lying to the west of the Grenville Loop. This path is suggested from an analysis of the quartzitic Katherine Group, whose probable primary pole lies at the beginning of the sequence, near the younger end of the Grenville Track (0.88 Ga). The end of the apparent polar wander (APW) sequence may be defined by a primary pole from sills intruding the Tsezotene Formation below the Katherine.
