A spatio-temporal analysis of the ancient settlement landscape of northeastern Edom (ancient Gobolitide, Islamic al-Jibal) from Nabataean to Byzantine times was performed based on surface survey data, taking into account various geographical factors (main morphological units, floristic regions, annual precipitation) and climatic fluctuations. A collapsed rockshelter site, WHS 784 X (Yutil al-Hasa), in the Wadi Hasa drainage in west-central Jordan was tested in 1984. Technological and typological analyses of the stone artifact assemblages suggest that it pertains to the latest phases of the Levantine Upper Paleolithic ‘Ahmarian Tradition’. Excellent faunal preservation allowed the identification of several ungulate species, as well as other taxa. These data and the topographic setting of the site indicated that WHS 784 X was probably a hunting camp used in part to monitor the (seasonal?) movements of herds of equids and gazelles. Da

Abstract Enhancer of zeste homologous (EZH) 2 and its close homolog EZH1 are catalytic subunits of polycomb repressive complex (PRC) 2 protein complex, and play redundant and crucial role for the maintenance of transcriptional repression by tri-methylating histone H3 lysine 27 (H3K27). Hyper trimethylation of H3K27 has been associated with malignant lymphoma and myeloma progression, thus several small molecules suppressing PRC2 complex activity has been developed for hematological malignancy therapy. We have developed valemetostat tosylate (DS-3201b, also known as valematostat), a potent dual

ABSTRACT Tribolium castaneum, a red flour beetle is now-a-days used as a sophisticated model system for the development and evolutionary studies. As its mode of development is more insect typical than that of Drosophila, Tribolium has become a well-known subject for studies of the evolution of development while both are holometabolous. Insect life-histories show adaptations to withstand cold and dry conditions. The holometabolous group has distinct larval and pupal stages and undergoes some of the most complex transformations seen in animal kingdom. Key words
