Abstract:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerbitan waran pada Penawaran Umum Saham (Initial Public Offerings) di Pasar Modal Indonesia dilakukan sebagai bentuk mekanisme pendanaan bertahap (staged financing) (Schultz, 1993) ataukah merupakan upaya penyampaian sinyal tentang perusahaan (Chemmanur dan Fulghieri, 1997). Penelitian dilakukan pada 96 perusahaan yang melakukan IPO pada periode 2010-2013 di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IPO dengan waran dilakukan oleh perusahaan yang lebih muda, memiliki profitabilitas yang lebih rendah, serta dengan kecenderungan pemilik (owner) mempertahankan proporsi kepemilikan yang lebih rendah pasca IPO. Hasil analisis OLS menunjukkan initial return IPO dengan waran yang lebih tinggi dibanding IPO biasa. Analisis probit menunjukkan bahwa keputusan melakukan IPO dengan waran dipengaruhi oleh umur dan leverage. Hasil penelitian secara umum mendukung teori staged financing.

Abstract:

O presente artigo tem como escopo tratar da mediação e suas especificidades, bem como o mediador proposto por Luis Alberto Warat. A metodologia utilizada é o método hipotético dedutivo que parte de um problema e apresenta as suas hipóteses, o método de pesquisa é o indireto, com base em leituras de obras do autor dentre outros. O modelo de mediador proposto por Luis Alberto Warat é o ideal para ser aplicado na mediação? Segundo Warat os mediadores das escolas formadoras fracassam, no sentido que ensinam aos mediadores técnicas, guias de formalidade e rituais para que ocorra um acordo, forma, negociadores, conciliadores. Para ser mediador é necessário ser um mestre, onde os discípulos devem ficar a vontade, onde o coração é o centro supremo do conhecimento. O mediador é um psicoterapeuta que ajuda as partes na terapia do reencontro mediado. Ademais o mediador proposto por Warat é aquele que busca no diálogo a autonomia, sensibilidade, reconhecimento e cultura de paz.

Abstract:

Argumentasi merupakan bagian penting dalam memahami matematika karena siswa mengemukakan suatu klaim didasari oleh data dan dukungan teori yang memadai dari suatu masalah. Salah satu satu jenis soal yang melatih kemampuan argumentasi siswa adalah soal model PISA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan profil argumentasi siswa dalam memecahkan masalah PISA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan teknik sampling dengan variasi maksimal sehingga diperoleh tiga subjek penelitian yang memiliki jawaban atau klaim berbeda. Data diperoleh melalui tes dan wawancara dan dianalisis menggunakan argumentasi Toulmin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua siswa dengan klaim benar, memiliki data yang lengkap sebagai dasar memutuskan klaim dan menghubungkannya dengan berbagai waran antara lain himpunan atau tabel, lalu mencocokkan data yang ada. Siswa-siswa ini memberi backing terhadap waran menggunakan konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan. Sedangkan siswa dengan klaim salah, tidak memiliki data yang cukup akibat salah dalam memahami informasi yang diberikan. Siswa menggunakan waran berupa konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan. Namun, waran tersebut tidak memiliki backing yang mendukung.

Abstract:

O presente texto traz o ensino jurídico com Warat por meio da categoria habitus de Bourdieu correlacionada com a formação de práticas especificas do ensino jurídico reproduzidas em um processo que ele chama de “pinguinização”. A problemática é: como a carnavalização do ensino jurídico, proposto por Warat pode ajudar na modificação do habitus jurídico presente no campo do ensino do direito? Ao analisar o processo de pinguinização, há de se perceber que as práticas reproduzidas no interior do campo jurídico tendem a transformar operadores do direito em pinguins, comprometidos com valores distantes da realidade social, e acomodados na ordem dominante. A saída indicada por Warat seria a carnavalização do ensino jurídico com vistas a desfazer as representações ideológicas e explodir às avessas as ordens totalitárias que permeiam este campo.

Abstract:

In 2012 the Leyte Normal University developed a computer software—modelled after the Spache Readability Formula (1953) made for English—made to help rank texts that can is used by teachers or research groups on selecting appropriate reading materials to support the DepEd’s MTB-MLE program in Region VIII, in the Philippines. However, “several experiments have already established that existing readability measures in English cannot directly be used to compute readability of other languages.” To validate the Waray Text Readability Instrument (WTRI) formula, 15 stories were rated by 24 randomly selected teachers from two elementary schools in Tacloban City. The WTRI software uses two factors in determining readability, namely: (a) sentence length and (b) frequency of commonly occurring words. The teachers’ task is to read the given text and rate the grade level of each text by considering these three factors: (1) frequency of commonly used words; (2) sentence length; and, (3) total number of words. The data gathered was compared with the WTRI’s ratings of the same texts. Statistical testing was done to determine if there is a significant difference between the teachers’ rating of the texts and the WTRI’s ratings. As a result, there was no significant difference between the software’s grade level ratings and that of the teachers’. It implied that the WTRI’s calculation is valid.

Abstract:

One of the thriving regional literatures in the Philippines is the Waray poetry, and one of the recognized Waray writers is Francisco Aurillo. As commemorative pieces and commentaries on contemporary life in Leyte and Eastern Visayas, Aurillo’s depiction of the cultural and social aspects of the region are drawn from references of Biblical characters, historical figures, and mythological heroes. For years, there has been a growing interest in reviving the dying Waray literature. However, very limited studies have been conducted to assess the presence of intertextuality elements, and how these elements impact versification and meaning in Waray literature. Guided by Paul Ricoeur’s Theory of Textual Interpretation and Julia Kristeva’s Concept of Intertextuality, this study identified the allusions used in Francisco Aurillo’s poem “Diri Ha Tinapay La,” and analyzed how the use of allusions impacts the versification and meaning of the poem. The results of this study revealed that the use of allusion increased the degree of literariness, depth of meaning, and stronger connections between the verses in the poem. It was also found that allusions were used as a way to shift the mood of the poem and served as a presaging and explications to the imagery, metaphors and symbolisms used in the text. The use of allusion, as an intertextuality elements served as a rhetorical device driving the poem to its conclusion.

Tendo por base esses ideais norteadores,busca-se na presente investigação analisar como a mediação, em Luis Alberto Warat, poderia funcionarcomo um possível instrumento para a promoção da pacificação social e, como tal, poderia solidificar o Mercosulcomo um processo de integração social. Para isso, realizar-se-á a presente investigação sob a perspectiva de umaabordagem qualitativa, isto é, por meio de consultas realizadas em doutrinas. Abstract:

In the institutionalization of the mother tongue-basedmultilingual education (MTB-MLE) in the country, several trainings wereconducted introducing its unique features such as the use of the two-trackmethod in teaching reading based on the frequency of the sounds of the firstlanguage (L1). This study attemptedto find out how the accuracy track method worked with Waray pupils using mixedvocabularies. This is a part of a developmental study that aims to improveWaray reading instruction in basic education. The researcher used a checklistof the 100 Most Common Words in Waray for pretest and posttest, interviews,survey questionnaires, and daily observations during the three-weekimplementation of the method. The averages of the pretest and posttest scoreswere compared. Themes and patterns in the responses were likewise analyzed. Theresults showed a big gap in the performance of pupils classified as readers andbeginning readers. Several issues and challenges met were also identified.These imply that the method is less facilitative for effective teaching andlearning in Waray of speakers using mixed vocabularies. This study recommendsto modify the method or to develop an appropriate method for literacyinstruction of speakers without a strong linguistic foundation in their mothertongue.

Abstract:

A maioria dos cursos jurídicos no Brasil se encontra em descompasso com os atuais paradigmas teóricos e metodológicos propostos pela área da educação. Mais que orientar os alunos para que compreendam as leis em perspectivas éticas, sociológicas, filosóficas, políticas e críticas, buscam assegurar que conheçam bem as leis e sua estrutura lógica no sistema. Ensinam que o ordenamento jurídico é um sistema autônomo, pleno e lógico, recortado por outro sistema a sociedade. Este estudo se propôs a apresentar outra perspectiva pedagógica para o ensino do direito a teoria de Luis Alberto Warat que busca contribuir para a construção de um modelo de prática de ensino fundada na reformulação de premissas antigas à luz de um direito crítico e reflexivo que não permita, à ausência de raciocínio crítico e problematizador, mumificar o conhecimento jurídico e impedir sua adaptação completa a situações e conflitos sociais que se renovam e nunca cessam. Para delinear o contexto em que se insere a abordagem desse autor, apresenta-se previamente a proposta teórica jurídico-positivista, cujo expoente central é Hans Kelsen. Afinal, estudar Warat pressupõe verificar que caminhos ele percorreu até chegar à sua proposta atual. Além disso, aproximar-se do tema ensino jurídico exige entender a trajetória da legislação que o regulamenta desde sua criação, em 1827, até o presente. Para tanto, desdobramos, basicamente, no contexto histórico do ensino jurídico, a teoria pura do direito de Hans Kelsen e seus reflexos no ensino jurídico e o pensamento de Warat sobre o direito e sua proposta pedagógica.

Abstract:

This study investigated the reasons why the resident-participants of Brgy. Pena, Brgy. Malayog, Brgy. Cagmanipis Sur and Brgy. Cagmanipis Norte speak Cebuano. The researcher used narrative research design wherein, in-depth interviews were conducted to the participants of the barangays. Significant reasons revealed that the first settlers of the barangays originally came from Cebu and Masbate. The original settlers who came from Cebu and Masbate were Cebuano speakers in nature and this is due to the primary livelihood which is fishing. Further, the participants have strong language preservation and maintenance towards Cebuano language and a strong indicator of this is they are active speakers of their language. Hence, the participants positively see their language as their tool to communicate even with the majority speakers as they perceived their language not as a hindrance in participating in communication settings even with the Waray-Waray Speakers. Lastly, there is a precise establishment of habitual language use in a contact situation despite of contact with majority language speakers.

Abstract:

O ensaio pretende verificar a existência de um poder impessoal e simbolicamente instituído que disciplina a instituição da sociedade na determinação dos sujeitos sociais. O objetivo é verificar como o poder é inserido nas significações imaginárias das pessoas e o processo pelo qual, ambos os sexos estão recondicionando a forma de representação da sociedade, especificamente no que se refere aos seus papéis e espaços sociais. Assim, a questão do gênero é vinculada à construção da subjetividade e de que a ordem social natural totalitária produz uma subjetividade simbólica ilusória, mas determinante das relações sociais de poder e força. A categoria de gênero é colocada em discussão para demonstrar as implicações que o exercício do poder tem sobre a configuração da subjetividade masculina e feminina. O ensaio ancorou seu aporte teórico, sob o olhar do feminino, a partir de Luis Alberto Warat, além dos autores Alain Touraine, Gilles Lipovetky, Riane Eisler, Manuel Castells. Charles Taylor, Alex Honneth e Maria Rita Kehl.

Abstract:

This research discusses the stock abnormal return effect of warrants to its underlying stock on its listing and maturity date. This study sample is the stock price changes of stocks backed with a warrant in the Indonesian stock market for the year 2008 to 2018—using an event study approach to observe stock abnormal return effect on the listing and maturity date of warrants. The results of this research are that we find a significant negative abnormal return around the warrants' listing date. On the warrants' expiration date, we find a significant negative effect before and after the money warrants' maturity date. However, a different result is obtained for the observation of out-of-the-money warrants that do not show any significant abnormal return on the event window.

Tais questionamentos surgem em razão da inadequação do procedimento jurisdicional no tratamento dos conflitos e do aumento da litigiosidade e da não pacificação social. Assim, objetiva-se com a utilização da mediação no Estado Democrático a concretização da pacificação social e a humanização dos conflitos a partir da compreensão do outro indivíduo, bem como de suas particularidades e necessidades. Saat ini program deteksi tumbuh kembang pada anak masih berfokus pada anak yang dicurigai mengalami keterlambatan tumbuh kembang saja. Sementara penemuan dini gangguan tumbuh kembang pada anak masih belum banyak dilakukan. Mengisi gap ini, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak dan mendeteksi secara dini bila terjadi penyimpangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam dua hari dengan jumlah peserta 20 anak. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah bola, kubus, kertas manila, pulpen, krayon, boneka, baju dan formulir quesioner pra skrining perkembangan menurut usia, timbangan berat badan dan pengukurtinggi badan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak dikategorikan normal dalam perbandingan dengan usia, berat badan dan tinggi badan anak. Sementara beberapa diantaranya terdeteksi mengalami masalah. Untuk anak yang mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, kegiataan skirining ini harus rutin dilakukan.

Este artigo propõe conexões parciais entre os modos dos Sateré-Mawé, povo do tronco Tupi habitante do Baixo Amazonas, de manejo dos dispositivos de interculturalidade na produção de utopias políticas e educacionais guiadas pelo complexo do Guaraná no contexto da formação no Ensino Superior, e os modos dos Tuxá, do Submédio São Francisco (BA), de, por meio do “complexo ritual da ciência”, articular a autodemarcação de suas terras, projetos de revitalização linguística e o estabelecimento de redes cosmopolíticas heterogêneas. Evidenciamos como projetos políticos e educacionais dos coletivos indígenas, conquanto se enredem pelas constrições das estabilizações jurídico-estatais da sociedade nacional que enquadram enunciados por direitos, acionam também agências múltiplas de diferentes regimes ontológicos, que desestabilizam categorias e promovem encontros os mais diversos. Assim, se os projetos linguísticos e político-pedagógicos dos Tuxá instauram uma dimensão de estudo ao conhecimento da ciência, na qual relações marcadas pela cautela com os encantados, seres mais-que-humanos, são determinantes para o acesso à língua e ao complexo ritual por meio do qual se compreende a força do território; a busca sateré-mawé pelo acesso à universidade potencializa e energiza redes e práticas políticas que se desenrolam há séculos, atualizando os atributos da chefia e ao mesmo tempo modos de relação com os brancos, mediados pelo professor waranã-sese (o guaraná verdadeiro em oposição ao waranã-rana) e prefigurados nas dicotomias inscritas no Puratig (o remo mágico que se encontra em analogias com a Bíblia, as cartilhas escolares e a Constituição Federal). Em ambos os contextos etnográficos, elementos festivos e rituais – a Dança da Tucandeira para os Sateré-Mawé, a ciência para os Tuxá – delineiam enquadramentos interétnicos ao serem performados em diferentes contextos com intensidades distintas, mas também delimitam saberes restritos, esotéricos, para os quais outras concepções de tradução e compreensão se fazem necessárias.

<p>A presente pesquisa versa sobre a eco-cidadania como possibilidade de enfrentar a crise ecológica e suas consequências, dentre as quais destaca-se a massa de refugiados ambientais, pessoas forçadas ao deslocamento devido à ocorrência de desastres naturais. Nesse sentido, objetiva-se descrever, por meio do método dedutivo, da técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica e do procedimento histórico, os desafios e violações sofridas pelos refugiados ambientais, já que lhes é negado reconhecimento e proteção jurídica internacional. A partir disso, estudar a eco-cidadania em Luis Alberto Warat, a qual envolve ecologia, cidadania, política e subjetividade, elementos que, interligados, são capazes de alterar o atual estilo de vida, restaurando a relação homem-natureza, a fim de assegurar um direito ao amanhã, que dê condições de existência a um futuro comum. A eco-cidadania visa o reconhecimento do Outro (ser humano e natureza) nas suas diferenças, valendo-se do amor como cuidado. Por isso, ela contribui tanto para a formação de um sujeito ecológico, que se torne consciente da necessidade de preservação do meio onde vive, como para o reconhecimento de pessoas excluídas como os refugiados ambientais. </p>

O texto tem início com a apresentação da reviravolta linguística da filosofia.
