This thesis is a study of women, warung (small shops) and Cicadas kampung community of Bandung, West Java. Data on warung, women, and the Cicadas kampung is based on 12 months fieldwork in 2002. To collect the data, a combination of in-depth interviews, observation and participant observation were adopted. In this research I explore the warung issue from the perspective of warung owners and other members of the kampung. ¶ From the owners point of view the main reason to establish warung is to extend the limited income produced by their family members to make ends meet. This thesis consists of three topics. The first one is on quadratic Waring-Goldbach problems. The second topic is about some additive problems involving fourth powers. The last topic is to consider an average result for the divisor problem in arithmetic progressions. Chapter 1 is an introduction. In the present thesis we analyze different types of additive decompositions of homogeneous polynomials. These problems are usually called Waring-type problems and their story go back to the mid-19th century and, recently, they received the attention of a large community of mathematicians and engineers due to several applications. Przedsięwzięcie, którego się podjęłam w ramach pracy doktorskiej, miało na celu zbadanie, z perspektywy fenomenologicznej, wzajemnej relacji dwóch momentów podstawowych dla konstytucji podmiotu i zarazem określających go w kontekście społecznym, a więc jako podmiot odniesiony do innego podmiotu (innych podmiotów). W dziedzinie fenomenologii podejmowano wiele prób opisania relacji intersubiektywnej, które to próby owocowały coraz to nowymi analizami – począwszy od założycielskiej Fenomenologii ducha, przez ogromne i wciąż jeszcze eksploatowane dzieło Husserla, analitykę egzystencji Heideggera
