Every year, up to 1.3 trillion tons of global food produced for human use are lost or wasted. Consumer behavior is a major cause of food waste. In Indonesia, households generate approximately 38% of total food waste. The goal of this study is to evaluate at how attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and intention to reduce food waste affect food waste behavior in households. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) was used to conduct the survey, which included 160 independent oil palm farmer homes. The collected data was then examined using Structural Equation

Laboratory investigations included examination of tailings rheology, mixture trials, and compressibility testing of waste rock, tailings, and mixtures of waste rock and tailings. In developing countries, territorial planners are confronted with rapid urbanization and its inherent solid waste management (SWM) which has increased public health risks, and generated environmental and socio-economic problems too. To achieve this goal, different actors and relationships between them were identified, as well as their dynamics throughout the SWM history.

It is recognised that present legal waste definitions are ambiguous and do not really give an insight into the concept of waste. Moreover, despite its explicit wish of waste prevention, when according to present legislation a thing is assigned the label of a waste, it is going to be treated like waste, implicitly legislation thus amasses waste. Abstract:
The way humanity perceives and uses our planet’s natural resources is dangerously unsustainable. The world relies almost exclusively on new materials to make the products and infrastructure we use daily, and this is contributing to the interconnected planetary crises of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution. While we are consuming resources faster than they can be replenished, much of what we produce from these resources ultimately ends up as waste. These actions harm the environment and endanger the sustainability of life on Earth. So why does it still happen? By applying the Theory

Abstract:
A key issue addressed at the February 2003 meeting was the management of solid wastes, focusing on the use of economic instruments as management tools to minimize wastes at their sources, produce the largest possible amount of recycling, achieve the largest collection coverage that is financially viable, carry out a safe and optimum final waste disposal (from the economic, social and environmental viewpoints) and strengthen citizen's participation in solid waste management.

Abstract:
Without the informal economy, there would be no waste recycling in most Asian cities. In many Asian countries, waste management systems are underdeveloped, with the informal economy dominating the processes of waste collection, sorting and recycling. In this short report, we present preliminary findings from our survey of 34 waste pickers in Bangkok. The report sheds light on their working conditions, health risks, gendered dimensions and the challenges they face in waste recycling.

Abstract:
In the proposed work, an optimization model of transportation of municipal solid waste (MSW) of the urban agglomeration carried out by the waste processing and disposal complex is formulated and investigated. The complex includes waste processing plants, landfills and transport enterprises. Optimization here means minimizing the costs (fuel, time, finance) for the transportation of MSW from their accumulation sites (garbage sites) to processing points (waste processing plants) and landfills (landfills).
