Recently rice field in Ultisol has some problems, the most important thing is high concentration of Fe that can be toxic to the rice growth. The objective of this study was to determine the best water management to reduce concentration of Fe in recently rice field. The use of commercial data loggers and gypsum blocks to monitor the matric potential of water in soil was evaluated in the laboratory and at 2 field sites. A set of calibration resistors that simulated a matric potential range of —20 to —2120 kPa was developed that showed close agreement with data that was originally used to develop algorithms for the loggers. Data loggers used in experiments were calibrated against the resistors so output values could be re-scaled to that of the resistor set. Close agreement was found between the matric potential of soil, which was estimated from filter paper

The mean litter mass was similar for unlogged and logged forests. We evaluated four habitat attributes linked to ecosystem functioning (canopy cover, water temperature, sediment organic matter, and small woody debris) and calculated two indices of functional diversity: richness and divergence. Abstract:
Rice TPS. 3 has been released by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University from the Agricultural Research Station, Thirupathisaram during 1993 as a location specific variety for cultivation during the pishanam season (second season) in water logged (Ela) situation of Kanyakumari District. It registered an average grain yield of 6061/ kg/ha. It is a semi-dwarf (99cm) variety with short bold white rice which matures in 135 days. It is resistant to blast under field condition in blast prone areas. It contains high protein (9.15%)

Summary This paper describes geological and petrophysical evaluation of a new structure of a mature field to evaluate the reservoir potential in unproduced reservoir zones. The well was drilled in a carbonate with variations in rock quality and with minor subfaulting occurring. Gamma ray (GR), resistivity, density, neutron, and image services were used in the horizontal part of the well in addition to magnetic resonance (MR). To achieve the best possible real-time wellbore placement, reservoir navigation and continuous follow-up on the horizontal log interpretation were performed during drilli

Abstract:
Production logging tools (PLTs) in oil and gas industries are used for obtaining fluid types and measuring fluid rates in the borehole for both production and injection wells and to better understand the well productivity or the well injectivity of the interest zones. Additionally, it can be used to detect well problems, such as early water or gas breakthrough, channeling behind casing or tubing, and water or gas coning. The Khurmala field is a big oil field in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. PLTs have been acquired in many of the Khurmala oil wells, and the log records took into consideration t
