<p>Fluid simulating is one of the most difficult problems in computer graphics. On the other hand, water appears in our life very frequently. This thesis focuses on water simulating. The other one is physics based water simulating. We make it based on Navier-Stokes Equation and it is the most realistic animation of water. The propagation paths of sound in water can be somewhat complicated due to the fact that the sound speed in water varies with properties such as water temperature and pressure, which has the effect of curving the propagation paths. In particular, it investigates how much speed-up can be achieved compared to CPU based implementations and whether the RT cores introduced in Nvidia’s Turing architecture, which provide hardware accelerated ray-tracin

Models of land use change fall into two broad categories: pattern based and process based. This thesis focuses on pattern based land use change models, expanding our understanding of these models in three important ways. First, it is demonstrated that some driving variables do not have a smooth impact on the land use transition process. Our example variable is access to water. Land managers with access to piped water do not have any need for surface or groundwater. For variables like this, a model needs to change the way that driving variables are represented. It is no longer a question of scientific debate that research declares our climate is changing. One of the most important and visible impacts of this phenomenon is sea level rise which has impacts on coastal cities and island communities. Sea level rise also magnifies storm surges which can have severely damaging impacts on different human made infrastructure facilities near the shorelines in coastal zones. In this research we are concerned about the proximity of water systems as one of the most vulnerable infrastructures in the coastal zones because of the impact of stormwater combining with

Abstract:
In the numerical simulation of fluid flow and solute transport in porous media, finite element method (FEM) has long been utilized and has been proven to be efficient. In this work, an alternative approach called random walk particle tracking (RWPT) method is proposed. In this method, a finite number of particles represent the distribution of a solute mass. Each particle carries a certain fraction of the total mass and moves in the porous media according to the velocity field. The proposed RWPT model is established on a scientific software platform OpenGeoSys (OGS), which is an open source ini
