Full textThis study consists of a critical edition of a still unpublished part of the Cronicques d'Engleterre, a vast collection assembled by the Picardian lord, Jean de Wavrin, during the second half of the 15th century. This historical fresco covers the history of Great Britain from the legend of Albina and her sisters to the restoration to the throne of Edward IV in 1471. It's structure is regular in six volumes, each divided into six books. The present edition comprises book 4 of the first volume in its entirety, as well as the first 46 chapters of book five of the same volume. The historical period covered extends from the arrival of the Danes in Great Britain (c. 867) to the death of Richard the Lionheart in 1199. The text was established according to the ms. BNF fr. 75, produced for the bibliophile Louis de Bruges. It is accompanied by variant readings taken from the six other known witnesses of the first volume of the Cronicques d'Engleterre

Full textThe subject of this thesis is the situation in which manuscripts were created in lille ; their numbers increased as a result of it. Successively presented are the following : scribes, painters, illuminators and miniaturists, and finally one of them, the "maitre de wavrin", who illustrates ten volumes. The catalogue of these works, besides the illustrations and their legends completes the exposition. Amongst the scribes, three documented examples are presented, taken from manuscripts unknown until now : the canon copyist-illustrator (g. De pacy) ; the casual scribe (g. Picavet) ; and lastly the professional copyist (j. Du quesne). A detailed systematic study of aldermen's ledgers, over the whole of the fifteenth century, reveals other facts about painters. Above and beyond biographical features, the size of the community comes to light, its organization and its exact contribution to the pheasant banquet. From being medium-sized it becomes enriched by artists, natives of gand and tournai. The illuminators employed by the magistrate are not, for their part, affiliated to any guild and exercise at the same time other occupations. They are monks or clerics, often scribes, issued from the numerous institutions which have their abode in the capital of walloon flanders. A stylistic study completes the picture, taking avail of a miniaturist christened by us : the "maitre d'eracles". He works for jean de wavrin, a bibliophile from lille who also hires jean du quesne's services. It is thus established that this lord has recourse to his fellow citizens. The "maitre de wavrin", to whom he entrusts the illustration of unpublished tales of chivalry, takes advantage of this localization. He is the only one, or the first to illustrate these works. Their collaboration is a close one. The employer is a fiction writer himself as the prologues and frontispieces suggest, the second is a cleric, astray as the situation in lille allows

Full textThe territories considered as rural have experienced deep sociodemographic disruptions which have led to major social reestablishments. As a result, the ensemble has become heterogeneous and its components unclear. The context of this study is calling out the possibilities leading to the togetherness regarding daily activities. The thesis analyzes the way social and solidarity initiatives enables the creation of appropriation and therefore territory. This study sits at the point where social and rural geography meet to examines the way the socials and solidarities initiatives, implemented within these territories, impacts upon the territory networking. Therefore the study examines the transformation of individuals into daily stakeholders and returns to the foundation of the territorial appropriation. By studying specifically four living areas specifically chosen for the diversity of their rural characteristics, we highlight daily practices at the territory level, reflecting the proximity of the non-market oriented social and solidarity initiatives. However, people can get to appropriate a place by habits and routines which create dynamic social circles and relationships. Social and solidarity initiatives are found to be inherent to territory. Finally, this study investigates the concept of socio-systemic territorial service, which underpins the contribution of social and solidarity initiatives to the overall wellness of territory. It concludes with the perspective of an evolution of the initiatives in terms of territory resources, a concept which depends on the willingness of each individual and of the groups
Mourey, Marjorie. "Édition critique et commentaires du Roman de Buscalus (XVème siècle)." Thesis, Sorbonne université, 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019SORUL149.
Full textA rich text in prose from the middle of the 15th century, the Roman de Buscalus blends fictional adventures with a framework considered historical in the Middle Ages. The achievements of Buscalus and his lineage are told, and the city of Tournai, from which the characters originate, is celebrated. The present study offers a critical edition of the first part of this unpublished romance. The critical text is based on a single manuscript, the BNF, fr. 9343. An apparatus, which includes a glossary and several indexes, accompanies it, as well as an analysis in which the text is successively studied from the point of view of ecdotics, linguistics and literature. Dedicated to the duke of Burgundy Philip the Good, and copied and illuminated in the workshop of the Wavrin Master, the Roman de Buscalus has until now been considered anonymous. The analysis proposes, by gathering a body of evidence, an authorial attribution to the clerk Jean Wauquelin, the duke’s writer. The supernatural, which may be considered as the most salient feature of the romance from a literary point of view, is also examined. The manner in which the register is treated provides a glimpse of the author’s opinions. By relating the establishment of a school of magic by a devil, a journey into the infernal regions and the warlike intervention of a Mesnie Hellequin, the author demonstrates an ambivalent attitude. He approaches the supernatural in a joyful way, like a narrative tool that allows him to devise extraordinary stories, while concurrently displaying his condemnation of the use of black magic and the act of consorting with demons

At- tributen som användes är den maximala kovariansen från en sinus-anpassning till vinkeldata, samt det maximala och minimala värdet av anpassningen. En stodvektormaskin (Support Vector Machine) användes for inlärningen.
