Aluminium bronze alloys (Cu-Al-Fe) with Al > 14 wt. % are known to have high wear resistance and low friction coefficient against ferrous metals thus making it an ideal material for forming dies application. However, the use of these alloys has been restricted by the high cooling rate required to prevent embrittlement of the alloy during production. The plasma transferred arc technique (PTA) is an attractive production technique that offers the required high cooling rate, however the resulting microstructure is strongly dependent on the composition change induced during deposition. Modern railway transportation has imposed severe work conditions on the track. Wear of rails has become an important and costly phenomenon. Recent developments in the manufacture of rail steels have refined the interlamellar spacing to produce harder and more wear resistant pearlitic steels. Despite better nominal properties shown by bainitic and martensitic steels, pearlitic steels have shown lower wear rates. The aim of this study is to explain the mechanisms for the wear performance by observing how the lamellar pearlitic microstructure adapts to the wear loading. Four pearlitic rail steels

碩士
臺北城市科技大學
機電整合研究所
105
This study is aimed to form oxide layers on surface of titanium metal by utilizing anodic treatment. In order to develop appreciated coloring and wear resistance, various voltages and electrolytes are used to obtain optimal conditions. 16 conditions of specimens are performed in the study, including 4 electrolytes, Na3PO4, NaOH, Sprite beverage® and Po petrol drink®, operating at different voltages. The voltages are 10V, 20V, 30V, 40V and 50V for the Na3PO4, NaOH; and are 30V, 40V and 50V for the Sprite beverage® and Po petrol drink®, respectively. The durat
