To guarantee that the source codes of the websites and users’ data are preserved over the long term, all storage miner nodes on the IPFS network provide the pinning service. Websites must use an encryption technique for data storage that protects user privacy. The suggested model integrates the Web3 Storage and IPFS networks to create a platform that offers decentralised site hosting. The suggested platform guarantees the privacy, availability, and integrity.

The aim of the article was to define causes and to design university web-hosting. Before web-hosting was designed, a research among the students had been conducted to determine whether they wanted to use this kind of tool. The target group of this research was the segment of students studying at the University of Zilina. The next step was to design the information system for web-hosting and, afterward, to implement it on a dedicated server. After the successful implementation, the last step was to test the functionality of the web-hosting created with several students. All notes, comments, and complaints from the students were taken and would serve as an innovative idea for web-hosting in the future.

Metode Multi Attribute Utility Theorymerupakan salah satu dari metode pendukung keputusan yang digunakan untuk merubah dari beberapa kepentingan kedalamnilai numeric dengan skala 0-1, dengan 0 mewakili pilihan terburuk dan 1 mewakili pilihan terbaik. Hasil dari penelitianmenggunakan metode Multi Attribute Utility Theory untuk mencari rekomendasi web hosting menghasilkan hasil akhirdengan ranking tertinggi 0,3209 dan alternatif 1 (Idwebhost) sebagai web hosting yang direkomendasikan. Problem. The article deals with the issues of choosing a hosting provider for Django-based web applications. It is noted that the use of Python for web development is due to its simplicity, flexibility, and scalability, the possibility of rapid prototyping of web applications, the availability of standard libraries to solve a wide range of problems, and a large community of developers. It is indicated that almost all server-side applications are developed using one or another web framework. Among server-side web frameworks based on Python programming language, Django is often considered one of the best. This framework is used on many wellknown websites. Goal. The goal is to choose a web hosting service to deploy a Django-based web application. Methodology. The article describes the performance metrics of applications deployed on any web hosting service. We consider the steps to choose a web hosting service using KnAS4Web application as an example. Results. A comparative analysis of free plans for Heroku and PythonAnywhere web hosting services is performed. From the given data it is concluded that the reasonable choice is to use PythonAnywhere service for hosting web application KnAS4Web. To ensure minimal latency, it makes sense to deploy it on the servers located in the European region, namely, at the data center in Frankfurt, Germany. Originality. For productionready web applications such as KnAS4Web, it is suggested to consider only web hosting services with free tariff plans available. To compare the services, we analyze their disk space available, annual uptime, the maximum amount of traffic per month, data centers location, and ability to provide HTTPS connection as well as operative help. Practical value. The approach allows to significantly limit the range of potential web hosting services and helps to choose the service for deploying a web application.

Each hosting provider has its own advantages both in terms of features and price offered, as well as providing additional features for free. Even so, users need to pay attention to some problems that may arise, such as problems with interrupted access and slow website speeds, limited storage capacity and low CPU, as well as security concerns. Therefore, in this study, researchers used decision-making techniques with decision support systems. In spk, of course there are many methods that are presented to the user so that the user can freely choose what method to use for solving each problem that occurs, the previous researcher has conducted a literature study on researchers who have conducted similar research on the research that I made, where there are several research conducted using only one application method, namely the WASPAS method, so of course it is less effective if the weighting of the importance level of the criteria is self-determined, so the researcher uses the WASPAS method as a ranking of 7 alternatives to be dissected and also uses the ROC method as a weighting method for 5 criteria in determine the best web hosting. The results showed that Niaga Hoster was the best choice with a final score of 0.9879, followed by Rumahweb with a final score of 0.9325, and Jagoan Hosting with a final score of 0.9184

The paper discusses the model of a software solution in the form of an expert system that helps entrepreneurs and companies in choosing Web hosting and service packages for the distribution of their Web applications. The software, based on the parameters entered by the user, analyzes 10 factors that are important when deciding on the choice of hosting, and based on the answers received by the user recommends one of the alternatives that best suits his preferences and capabilities. The model of the expert system has an advisory character in making decisions on the choice of adequate hosting and can be upgraded by introducing new parameters, rules and conclusions as proposed solutions, to include new problem situations. The aim of this paper is to point out the possibility of creating artificial intelligence systems that can help in making adequate business decisions for the electronic market.

Free hosting services have contributed to the development of the Internet or even acted as a catalyst thereof. This paper aims to answer the questions of what free hosting services represent for Internet users and why initiatives exist to archive content published on free servers. The empirical part of this study attempts to verify whether websites on free servers were designed in an archaic way, which could justify their discontinuation. Initiatives to preserve the content of vanishing web hosting sites are characterized based on a review of various source materials, including the academic literature and Internet resources. This empirical study involved 168 archaic websites, which were analyzed in three dimensions. Marketing components and design were assessed as well. Each assessment dimension was assigned diagnostic variables. The values of the diagnostic variables were standardized using zero unitarization. It was found that the owners of discontinued servers were not interested in creating and maintaining archives. Hence, numerous grassroots initiatives have emerged to salvage their content, although enthusiasm among the archive community seems to have dwindled. Many grassroots archives are available, but a considerable number are no longer supported. In this context, this paper proposes the term ‘vanishing hosting’. It provides a nostalgic and sentimental perspective on the termination of free hosting services. The authors noted that free hosting services have largely lost their past import. It is demonstrated that free servers traditionally hosted archaic websites, which justified their deletion from a business perspective. Moreover, the paper presents an outline of a method to revitalize the tourism sector based on changes brought about by global technology to the digital ecosystem. It is proposed that changes in search engine algorithms vicariously contribute to the revitalization of the tourism sector since they often drive the replacement of old websites with newer versions (latest technology and better quality). This leads to the improved online presentation of tourism service portfolios and the general quality of the content in search engine results.

Most of the web applications are hosting by cloud due to low cost and low infrastructure setup is required. In continue to this, user no need to maintain the infrastructure by their own. In this paper, both the technology, self-web-hosting, and cloud-web-hosting are compared based on different security parameters like key generation (PKI), automatic authentication and protection of intra-tenant networks, secure logging system events, spam filtering, CAPTCHA generation and authentication, and software widgets such as password metering. These parameters are classified into seven categories and the review has been conducted based on these categories. The bibliometric analysis has been conducted where ever more than 70 research found in Web-of-Science (WoS) database through bibliometric library and biblioshine package in R programming. The outcome of this analysis is presented in tabular form, and open challenges of both the technologies are discussed in details with proposed solutions.

Tujuan dari pengembangan sistem informasi ini adalah merancang dan membangun suatu sistem informasi feedback pelanggan hosting berbasis komputer yang sistematis, terstruktur dan terarah pada CV. E-Padi Corporation. Sistem informasi feedback pelanggan yang dihasilkan dapat mengolah data Domain dan hosting pelanggan khususnya pada lingkungan perusahaan CV. Nowadays, especially in period of energetic crisis, it is very important to get reliable data storage and uninterrupted access to websites. Considering that the world’s mainstream is using the clouds services for educational, scientific, business purposes it is important to explore features of hosting websites in major cloud service providers. One of the leader’s vendors in cloud servicing is Amazon with its Web Services (AWS). AWS offers hosting solutions such as Lightsail, Amplify Console, Simple Storage Service (S3) and Elastic Cloud Computing, from simple static websites to complicated dynamic, The article deals with the method of hosting static websites. Simple Storage Service was used for this purpose. The method has many benefits: the service is simple, cheap, scales well, manages everything and has great integration with other AWS services. This method is the best for websites that do not contain server-side scripting, like PHP or ASP.NET. It is ideal for websites that change infrequently, such as personal, promo, startup websites, websites of small businesses and organizations. The article focuses on how set permissions, properties and policies of AWS S3 bucket for hosting a website. But usage of S3 bucket alone provides only http connection. That’s why to deploy secure connection and speed up delivery of the static content was proposed to use AWS CloudFront service. CloudFront is content delivery network service, that uses the latest version of Transport Layer Security Protocol and saves files in the cache for 24 hours. The article shows how to configure CloudFront distribution to serve https requests for an Amazon S3 bucket. Configuration S3 bucket REST API endpoint was used as the most secure case. As a result, latency was reduced, security was improved due to traffic encryption and the content of S3 bucket was kept private.

While many studies in the field of environmental communication have focused on exploring the environmental impact of social media, this research paper takes a different turn. It investigates, through a qualitative content analysis, 391 websites that support and provide green hosting services. This study is considered the first in the field that aims to examine in-depth how these green websites tend to communicate their green services. Therefore, its contribution is to enhance the relevant bibliography and present more insights regarding green websites and sustainability. The results showed that most of the websites were trying to highlight the positive impact their services will have on the environment. In addition, many websites tried to educate their consumers concerning sustainable development and make them part of a broader green cultural tradition. Nevertheless, on many websites, green hosting seemed a supplementary factor for choosing the company’s services.

Purpose As library budgets continue to constrict, librarians will need to become more familiar with comparing database host platforms. This paper aims to compare Inspec on Elsevier’s Engineering Village (EV) and Clarivate’s Web of Science (WOS) from a novice user experience. The main objectives are to identify some R1 institutions that subscribe to Inspec and highlight some of the key differences between the two platforms. Design/methodology/approach Information on Inspec was gathered from various sources such as the home website, IET, and the host platform websites of Elsevier and Clarivate Analytics. Additional evidence was also collected from brochures and guides to help illustrate some of the main features and differences that novice users would be familiar with. Findings Most institutions subscribe to Inspec via the EV platform. Results from the study conclude that EV was the choice over WOS for hosting Inspec owing to a more user-friendly interface, potential lower cost and faster platform updates in response to meeting user needs. Research limitations/implications As database platforms change over time, feature areas such as content, interface and features remain important for information professionals and librarians to stay current with those changes. Also, this work can help librarians with understanding the planning and developing of a process for comparing identical or similar databases on different platforms. Originality/value Much of the literature focuses on the unfamiliar details and not so much on the novice user. This paper provides a unique perspective in how a novice user would prefer the attributes of one host platform over the other. Additionally, the same review criteria can be applied in other subjects and disciplines.

Metode pengujian yang akan dipakai untuk menguji aplikasi tersebut adalah metode load testing, yang menggunakan tools Apache JMeter. Pengujian menggunakan metode load testing ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui bagaimana kualitas dari aplikasi web Greenwallet PT. Terminal Teluk Lamong dari segi performa yaitu untuk menguji response time.
 Pengujian akan dilakukan pada server localhost dan server hosting. Pada server localhost response time tidak boleh lebih dari 0.8 detik sedangkan pada server hosting, response time web aplikasi Greenwallet tidak boleh lebih dari 1.0 detik.
 Hasil dari penelitian yaitu sebagian besar skenario yang telah dilakukan pengujian telah mencapai tujuan pengujian dimana memiliki respons time kurang dari 1.0 untuk server layanan hosting. Terdapat satu fitur yaitu aksi registrasi, tidak pernah mencapai goals pengujian yang mana pada skenario tersebut menghasilkan response time lebih dari satu detik

Ontologies are increasingly being developed on web-based repository hosting platforms such as GitHub. Accordingly, there is a demand for ontology editors which can be easily connected to the hosted repositories. TurtleEditor is a web-based RDF editor that provides this capability and supports the distributed development of ontologies on repository hosting platforms. It offers features such as syntax checking, syntax highlighting, and auto completion, along with a SPARQL endpoint to query the ontology. Furthermore, TurtleEditor integrates a visual editing view that allows for the graphical manipulation of the RDF graph and includes some basic clustering functionality. The text and graph views are constantly synchronized so that all changes to the ontology are immediately propagated and the views are updated accordingly. The results of a user study and performance tests show that TurtleEditor can indeed be effectively used to support the distributed development of ontologies on repository hosting platforms.

To this end, the authors consider that the prime example use case of cloud computing is a web hosting service. This paper presents the architectural approach as well as the technical solution for applying elastic web hosting onto a private cloud infrastructure using only free software. Through several available software applications and tools, anyone can build their own private cloud on top of a local infrastructure and benefit from the dynamicity and scalability provided by the cloud approach.

Penelitian ini bermaksud membangun sistem untuk mengendalikan dan memantau konsumsi listrik di stopkontak dengan mudah melalui aplikasi Android, berikut mencegah pemborosan energi listrik akibat masyarakat tetap mencolok steker perangkat elektronik tidak terpakai. Pengembangan sistem mengaplikasikan metode prototipe kebutuhan. Peneliti membuat stopkontak berjenis portabel yaitu stopkontak arde dengan tiga soket listrik dan aplikasi Android bersifat native. Pembuatan stopkontak arde memasang TRIAC, PZEM-004T, Hi-Link, dan ESP-12E dirakit dengan PCB Copper Clad dan diprogram dengan bahasa pemrograman C++ melalui Arduino IDE. Aplikasi Android dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Java dan hanya kompatibel di gawai Android versi Lollipop sampai Snow Cone. Terdapat back-end system yakni Hostinger adalah web hosting sebagai server, tempat penyimpanan, dan penyedia MySQL (manajemen dan pengolahan data) diprogram dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, dan JSON sebagai format pertukaran data antara web hosting dan aplikasi Android. Hasil penelitian adalah prototipe stopkontak arde berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dan aplikasi Android bernama SMMUPS (smart power multi-plug). Setiap soket listrik di stopkontak arde akan mati secara otomatis jika ada arus listrik tidak sesuai kebutuhan melalui program nilai minimal arus listrik. Potensi penelitian pada masa depan, antara lain mengintensifkan tampilan aplikasi Android, meningkatkan nilai keakuratan pengukuran konsumsi listrik, menambahkan fitur akumulasi daya, dan membuat aturan nilai minimal arus listrik dapat diubah melalui aplikasi Android.

Traditionally, websites are hosted viacentralized network, where the web servers distribute the website files to the clients. However a server failure can prevent the web applications from being used until the server goes live again. Due to the fact that websites rely entirely on the integrity of a single organization, it enables larger companies or government to decide what content is shown, this put into question the freedom that the internet originally brought. The block chain hosting service, also known as decentralized web hosting, is not controlled by a single organization or a third party organization. The architecture relies on peer-to-peer communication rather than client-to-server communication. Due to the decentralized nature of this system, all clients do not rely on a single server for their data, but instead data is sent directly between the clients across the network. It is possible to achieve this with the help of IPFS and Block chain. IPFS is a protocol for distributed file storage that allows computers to store and serve files in a peer-to-peer network by distributing them across computers and with the block chain technology, it is possible to ensure both authenticity as well as confidentiality.
