AbstractThis paper details an approach to re-purposing scientific data as presented on a web page for the sole purpose of making the data more available for searching and integration into other websites. Data ‘scraping’ is used to extract metadata from a set of pages on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) website, clean, organize and store the metadata in a MySQL database. The metadata is then used to create a new website at the authors institution using the CakePHP framework to create a representational state transfer (REST) style application program interface (API). The processes used for website analysis, schema development, database construction, metadata scraping, REST API development, and remote data integration are discussed. Lessons learned and tips and tricks on how to get the most out of the process are also included.

Abstract:
Every technological development is usually accompanied by an increase in security on a digital platform that is widely used by a large audience. However, with the rapid development of information technology, some of the security gaps found can be used as loopholes to commit crimes where these actions can harm others. These actions are often carried out by irresponsible people to benefit from the actions taken. Some of the gaps that are often found on digital platforms, especially on websites are SQL Injection where from BSSN data from January to April 2019, 73% of the vulnerability reports received are SQL Injection vulnerabilities. In addition, SQL Injection is also the number one threat to the security of a website application, where this SQL Injection attack is a code injection attack technique that is carried out by exploiting the security gaps that exist in the database layer of a website. In this study, taking the theme of SQL Injection which aims to conduct security analysis from the website of the school agency SMKN 1 Pangandaran, using OWASP which is used to carry out the analysis process. The result of testing the system on the website is where the attacker can perform injection using SQL payload to enter the database. Where the results of system analysis and testing will be recommended to close gaps on existing websites.

Project managers are generally constrained by limited time and location to monitor the implementation of daily construction tasks. This problem makes monitoring and coordination run slowly. By utilizing internet technology, the author aims to develop an online management information system that computers or smartphones can access for stakeholders. This research aims to ease tasks such as progress reports and field monitoring with a database that can store soft copies of project data on one server. The analysis follows the waterfall method, requirements, design, coding, and testing in the local server, then uploads the .php index to the database server. This website application helps managers, owners, and other employees by facilitating the process of monitoring, reporting, and discussing even remotely. Using programs such as HTML, PHP, and MySQL, the author developed a website that speeds up the managerial process and creates a database server for storing digital documents. Users of this application were assessed a scale of 1 to 5: Interface design: 4.25, User-friendliness: 4.5, Facilities: 4, Access speed: 3.25, so it has an overall score of 4.25 out of 5.

Background Attention is turning toward increasing the quality of websites and quality evaluation to attract new users and retain existing users. Objective This scoping study aimed to review and define existing worldwide methodologies and techniques to evaluate websites and provide a framework of appropriate website attributes that could be applied to any future website evaluations. Methods We systematically searched electronic databases and gray literature for studies of website evaluation. The results were exported to EndNote software, duplicates were removed, and eligible studies were identified. The results have been presented in narrative form. Results A total of 69 studies met the inclusion criteria. The extracted data included type of website, aim or purpose of the study, study populations (users and experts), sample size, setting (controlled environment and remotely assessed), website attributes evaluated, process of methodology, and process of analysis. Methods of evaluation varied and included questionnaires, observed website browsing, interviews or focus groups, and Web usage analysis. Evaluations using both users and experts and controlled and remote settings are represented. Website attributes that were examined included usability or ease of use, content, design criteria, functionality, appearance, interactivity, satisfaction, and loyalty. Website evaluation methods should be tailored to the needs of specific websites and individual aims of evaluations. GoodWeb, a website evaluation guide, has been presented with a case scenario. Conclusions This scoping study supports the open debate of defining the quality of websites, and there are numerous approaches and models to evaluate it. However, as this study provides a framework of the existing literature of website evaluation, it presents a guide of options for evaluating websites, including which attributes to analyze and options for appropriate methods.

Development and Maintenance of the Ethiopian Legal Information Website Information and Communication Technology in general and the internet in particular have been creating unprecedented opportunities in facilitating and streamlining access to information. Websites have become a common way of publishing legal information for the public in many countries. In Ethiopia, however, the availability of legal websites has been very limited or non-existent. Except for the constitution, no other basic Ethiopian law has ever been published online. To benefit from the tremendous potentials of the internet, a project was initiated to develop an Ethiopian Legal Information Web Site. Based on users' requirements obtained from questionnaire analysis, and current paradigms and implications, the Ethiopian Legal Information Website was designed, developed, implemented and maintained The website is an online database of Ethiopian basic laws developed by Mekelle University, Ethiopia, in cooperation with the Non-Western Law Department of Ghent University, Belgium. Basic laws included on the site at present are the Ethiopian Constitution, Civil Code, Criminal Code, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Commercial Code and Family Code. The laws can be viewed and used in full text html, whereas some of the laws including the 2004 Criminal Code, Family Code, FDRE Constitution and the Tigray Regional State Constitution are available in pdf Laws can be searched by keywords using the site search engine. Comments and suggestions from experts and Ethiopian laws users have been collected, hence modifications, improvements and additions have been made to the website. The Ethiopian Legal Information Website was first hosted on the University of Ghent internet server and currently in the Mekelle University server at http://mail.mu.edu.et/~ethiopialaws/ The Ethiopian Legal Information Website has been found to be a useful web portal to access and use the basic Ethiopian laws. The University of Ghent, !LO, the Library of Congress, AUSTLII, WASHLAW, WIKIPEDIA and other major legal web portals make citations in reference to the site. While the website currently contains only the basic laws of the federal government, an action plan is prepared to include regional laws of Ethiopia. Other legal information including amendments to the laws, decisions and legal news will also be included on the site, hence a comprehensive Ethiopian Legal Web Portal will be developed and maintained.

Until now, technology is growing where humans always update technological developments to get things easier and more efficient. One of them is in the database of food nutrient content, currently from the beginning covered in books and computers, experts develop an information media, such as in the form of online media in the form of websites. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of a website, desktop and book based food database. Research with analytic-comparative design with cross sectional approach was carried out on 415 active nutrition students throughout Indonesia taken using the snowball sampling method. The study was conducted in August-November 2018. Dependent variables are website, desktop, books and independent variables effective use of the food database. data were analyzed by Anova test and LSD Post-Hoc test. There was a significant difference in the effectiveness of database use of food nutrition (p= 0,001) with the average Website results (8,00 ± 1,09) higher than desktops (7,77 ± 1,26) and books (6.95 ± 1.64). The use of a Website-based food database is more effective than the desktop base and book base. Hingga saat ini teknologi semakin berkembang dimana manusia selalu mengupdate perkembangan teknologi untuk mendapatkan suatu hal yang lebih mudah dan efisisen. Salah satunya pada database kandungan gizi makanan, saat ini dari yang awal mulanya tercakup dalam buku dan komputer, para tenaga ahli mengembangkan sebuah media informasi, seperti dalam bentuk media online berupa website. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektivitas database makanan berbasis website, dekstop dan buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik-komparatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilakukan pada 415 mahasiswa gizi aktif seluruh indonesia yang diambil menggunakan metode sampling snowball. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan agustus-november 2018. Variabel dependen adalah website, dekstop, buku dan variabel independen efektiftas penggunaan database makanan. data dianalisis dengan uji Anova dan uji Post-Hoc LSD. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada efektivitas penggunaan database kandungan gizi makanan (p= 0,001) dengan hasil rata-rata website (8,00 ± 1,09) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dekstop (7,77 ± 1,26) dan buku (6,95 ± 1,64). Penggunaan database makanan berbasis website lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan basis dekstop dan basis buku.

Abstract. One impact of the development of information technology is the use of websites as a medium to facilitate the dissemination of information. One type of website that is widely used by government agencies, education, industry and public organizations is a website profile. Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Tarakan is one of the public organizations engaged in humanity in Tarakan City. Current conditions, PMI Kota Tarakan does not yet have a media information in the form of a website that can be used to disseminate various information related to PMI Kota Tarakan activities to the public, so a process of developing a profile website for the PMI Kota Tarakan is needed. The main objective of this community service activity is to produce a PMI Kota Tarakan Profile Website to support the PMI Kota Tarakan. Website development process is done by using PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) as a scripting language and MySQL as a database server. The final result of community service activities in terms of developing this website is a website that is able to provide convenience for the PMI Kota Tarakan in terms of providing information to the public, specifically related to the activities carried out by the PMI Kota Tarakan.Keywords: information, PMI, Tarakan, websiteAbstrak. Kondisi yang ada saat ini, PMI Kota Tarakan belum memiliki media informasi berupa website yang dapat digunakan untuk menyebarkan berbagai informasi terkait dengan kegiatan PMI Kota Tarakan kepada masyarakat, sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah proses pengembangan terhadap website profile bagi PMI Kota Tarakan. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah Website Profile PMI Kota Tarakan untuk mendukung PMI Kota Tarakan. Proses pengembangan website dilakukan dengan menggunakan PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) sebagai bahasa scripting dan MySQL sebagai database server. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam hal pengembangan website ini adalah sebuah website yang mampu memberikan kemudahan bagi pihak PMI Kota Tarakan dalam hal memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat, khususnya terkait dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh PMI Kota Tarakan.Kata kunci: informasi, PMI, tarakan, website.

Egypt is currently one of the leading nations especially in the Middle East region with a well-established e-commerce environment and advanced IT infrastructure, but rapid growth of e-commerce will soon occur in other nations with similar consumption patterns. This study tests a model of antecedents (consumer experience, propensity to trust, reputation, perceived website size, ease of use, perceived usefulness, and website quality) and consequences of consumers’ trust toward online travel websites. Trust is expected to predict consumer attitude, perceived risk, and intention to purchase travel online. Data of 1,431 users of online travel websites were selected from the Supreme Council of Universities Database–Egypt (SCU) and analyzed through structural equation modeling. The findings show that all the aforementioned factors with the exception of consumer experience influence consumer trust toward online travel websites. Trust influences consumers’ attitude, perceived risk, and intention to purchase travel online.

The Complaint Application is an information system that aims to provide aspirations for the performance of an agency. In this case the researchers took the case of the Batam State Polytechnic, where the campus wanted to realize Bureaucratic Reform at the Batam State Polytechnic by making a website-based Polibatam Complaint Application. Initially, the website was completed in the fourth semester during the implementation of Project Based Learning. In this case, the researcher conducted research to create a V.0 Complaints application with improvements from a website that had been built previously so that a website-based Public Complaint Application design was needed that was easy to use and could see responses to aspirations and complaints. The method that the researcher uses in designing the Polibatam V2.0 Complaint Application is the Waterfall model with MySql as the Database Management System, as well as PHP, JavaScript as the programming language to be used and Laravel as the PHP Framework. The completed application is then tested using the black box testing methodology, which allows all functionalities to be executed and implemented in accordance with the previously created functional requirements

The article summarizes preliminary results related to the development and operation of historical thematic website “Simeiz. Guide to Old Dachas”. The website was created by the author and his colleagues in 2019 as a part of a workshop at the Department of Source Studies of the Lomonosov Moscow State University History Faculty. The workshop aimed at studying the history of the southern coast of Crimea in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The stages and preliminary results of this work are considered in the context of current discussions about the “digital turn” in history. The author analyses the reasons for creating the historical website, its structure, development stages, specific features of its content, database creation and crowdsourcing.  It is stated that the website development was the first important step of the whole research project, its “driver”. Moreover, besides a new form of historical knowledge dissemination, the work on the site provided for setting new source and analytical tasks that is to increase the information impact of sources and get new opportunities for processing the electronic database. These results may be of interest to historians who run similar historical projects.

The phishing is a kind of e-commerce lure which try to steal the confidential information of the web user by making identical website of legitimate one in which the contents and images almost remains similar to the legitimate website with small changes. Another way of phishing is to make minor changes in the URL or in the domain of the legitimate website. In this paper, a number of anti-phishing toolbars have been discussed and proposed a system model to tackle the phishing attack. The proposed anti-phishing system is based on the development of the Plug-in tool for the web browser. The performance of the proposed system is studied with three different data mining classification algorithms which are Random Forest, Nearest Neighbour Classification (NNC), Bayesian Classifier (BC). To evaluate the proposed anti-phishing system for the detection of phishing websites, 7690 legitimate websites and 2280 phishing websites have been collected from authorised sources like APWG database and PhishTank. After analyzing the data mining algorithms over phishing web pages, it is found that the Bayesian algorithm gives fast response and gives more accurate results than other algorithms.

Currently, the sales system is overgrowing. The concept of selling that was done manually (which is still less than optimal) becomes electronic (e-commerce). System development requires a digital platform. This platform must be able to carry out all activities that were carried out before (manually), such as collecting documents, recording transactions, and reporting. Besides, the e-commerce platform can provide support and increased performance in the sales process, both in checking stock items, transaction reports, and services. Besides, this optimization can provide services precisely and quickly to consumers. A management information system concept is needed to carry out e-commerce and services with integrated data and be stored in its development database. This prototype concept requires a method for website development. The method used is a waterfall. Website design uses the Hypertext PreProcessor (PHP) programming language and MySQL database. The design model uses two concepts: entity-relationship diagrams (ERD) and data flow diagrams (DFD). The result is a website and e-commerce services that can be accepted by users and e-commerce organizers with tests that have been carried out. System testing uses Blackbox and Whitebox testing, each of which results can be used to implement e-commerce sites and services. The website can assist officers in service and e-commerce and make it easier for officers to determine the target and service status.

The Nanosized Cancer Polymarker Biochip Project (RBLA03S4SP) funded by an Italian MIUR-FIRB grant (Italian Ministry of University and Research - Investment Funds for Basic Research) has led to the creation of a free-access dynamic website, available at the web address https://serviziweb.ulss12.ve.it/firbabo , and of a centralized database with password-restricted access. The project network is composed of 9 research units (RUs) and has been active since 2005. The aim of the FIRB project was the design, production and validation of optoelectronic and chemoelectronic biosensors for the simultaneous detection of a novel class of cancer biomarkers associated with immunoglobulins of the M class (IgM) for early diagnosis of cancer. Biomarker immune complexes (BM-ICs) were assessed on samples of clinical cases and matched controls for breast, colorectal, liver, ovarian and prostate malignancies. This article describes in detail the architecture of the project website, the central database application, and the biobank developed for the FIRB Nanosized Cancer Polymarker Biochip Project. The article also illustrates many unique aspects that should be considered when developing a database within a multidisciplinary scenario. The main deliverables of the project were numerous, including the development of an online database which archived 1400 case report forms (700 cases and 700 matched controls) and more than 2700 experimental results relative to the BM-ICs assayed. The database also allowed for the traceability and retrieval of 21,000 aliquots archived in the centralized bank and stored as backup in the RUs, and for the development of a centralized biological bank in the coordinating unit with 6300 aliquots of serum. The constitution of the website and biobank database enabled optimal coordination of the RUs involved, highlighting the importance of sharing samples and scientific data in a multicenter setting for the achievement of the project goals.

In this paper, a social media platform like LinkedIn and Facebook is made using MongoDB as a database. This paper aims to touch all the modern tools required to make an efficient web app, keeping in mind both the customer satisfaction and the ease for the developers to make their web designs, front-end and back-end. In this application, a user could make an account, add or delete details of their profile, education, and experience fields. The users could post, also comment and even like a post of other users. A monolithic architectural approach is used for simplicity in maintaining the database. Postman application programming interface (API) was used to check the working of the back-end. Git, Github, and Heroku were used to deploy the website. Node package manager (NPM) packages like bcrypt and validator are used to encrypt passwords and to validate a user during login. Media queries are used in cascading style sheets (CSS) to achieve a responsive design. Therefore, the users could view the website through a mobile phone, i-pad and also a personal computer (PC), maintaining the readability and design across all these devices.

The advancement of technologies has rapidly risen for the past few years, which brings a lot of benefits especially to the users. However, the developments have also contributed many security issues, where security attacks have also become more advanced. Phishing is one of the security attacks that describe spoof emails or websites to trick users into exposing their personal or any confidential information. Hence, this project develops a solution, 3H1M extension, to help in mitigating the phishing issues when browsing the Internet. This extension will compare the visited website URL with the blacklisted website lists in the database to identify the validity of the website. If the user is visiting a malicious website, a pop-up message will be displayed on the screen and the user will be directed to the search engine page. A comparison is made between a web browser implemented with and without the 3H1M extension. It can be observed that the extension is able to help the users to distinguish between the real and malicious websites.

Bidang pendidikan, khususnya sekolah dengan adanya pengembangan teknologi informasi dapat membantu perkembangan infrastruktur dan sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis komputer sehingga dapat membantu aktivitas pembuatan laporan keuangan di sekolah. SMK Werdhi Sila Kumara adalah satu lembaga sekolah yang belum memanfaatkan perkembangan Teknologi Informasi secara maksimal karena masih menggunakan sistem konvensional dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan. Laporan keuangan di SMK Werdhi Sila Kumara yang masih memiliki banyak kekurangan pada pengelolaan data dan pencarian data, data yang sudah di kumpulkan mudah hilang atau pun rusak dan rawan kesalahan dalam proses pencatatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk dapat membantu SMK Werdhi Sila Kumara dalam hal pembuatan laporan keuangan, perancangan dan pembangunan Website untuk Sistem Pelaporan Keuangan menggunakan Dalam Penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model pengembangan Waterfall, menggunakan Database Mysql serta menggunakan framework CodeIgniter sehingga memudahkan dalam pembuatan website berbasis PHP. Pemesanan dapat dilakukan melalui website dengan pembayaran yang dilakukan secara transfer. Sehingga user dapat secara efektif melakukan pemesanan tanpa harus datang ke toko. Website ini mengunakan metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Proses pembuatan website dimulai dengan merancang struktur navigasi UML, rancangan halaman website dilanjutkan dengan membuat dengan kode program hingga tahap uji coba ini dinamakan dengan website Monja Store. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian website Monja Store menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing didapatkan seluruh fungsi halaman yang terdapat dalam website ini telah berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan website Monja Store telah berfungsi sesuai apa yang diharapkan. ABSTRACT Information technology is all forms of technology that help humans in terms of creating, storing, or disseminating information. Along with the times, information technology is more associated with high-speed computing and communication such as computers and mobile phones. The Institute of Teacher Training and Education of the Indonesian Teachers Association (IKIP-PGRI) Pontianak as an educational institution that requires information technology to assist activities within the Pontianak IKIP-PGRI environment. Based on the results of observations by conducting interviews, it is known that the study program has an information system website that contains information on study programs, but in the information system there are several shortcomings, namely the news and job vacancies have not been updated and there is no special alumni data information system to manage alumni data. Based on these problems, the researcher intends to develop a web-based information system for the alumni database using the R&D method and the ADDIE approach. The results of the system development were validated by 2 system experts to see the percentage of feasibility. The alumni information system has been tested for feasibility in terms of usability, functionality, and visual communication aspects. The overall average value in these aspects is 4.20 and 4.65, both values ​​are included in the "Very Good" criteria. .

Abstract One of the main features of today’s information society is the availability of data of various kinds provided by various companies and organisations. In the following paper, we focus on evaluating the dynamics of development and the current state of existence of websites of communes in Slovakia, which represent a database of their activities and serve as the main communication channel between citizens and self-government representatives. Another important channel is social networks, which are still enjoying huge popularity among Internet users. On the basis of the results of an online questionnaire that involved almost 60% of the addressed self-governments, we will point out the adaptation of self-governments to the use of social networks. One of the important tasks of such research is the distribution of the obtained results to end users. This is achieved through an example of a description of basic technical and functional specifications by using the website created by the authors. This website has the ambition of becoming a sort of central access point for all those interested in information about communes in Slovakia. By means of standard tabular, but also interactive graphic and map outputs, it gives an idea of selected indicators of self-governments in a user-friendly form, thus helping to increase client awareness of this specific issue.

The development of e-recruitment system is web-based tool used in order to reduce communication gap between job seekers and employers. E-recruitment, also known as online recruitment, is the practice of using technology and in particular Web-based resources for tasks involved with finding, attracting, assessing, interviewing and hiring new personnel. Most of the existing mode of recruitment (manual recruitment) takes much time in processing the application form, existing system will not automatically send feedback to all applicant whose meet up with the job requirement but with the help of the developed system there is reduction in time to process the application form and there is automatic feedback from the employer to the job seeker that meet up with requirement. The objective of this work is to developed an efficient e-recruitment system capable of managing all stages of the e- recruitment process, including multi-job posting, agency channel management and candidate filtering to identify the most relevant candidates. The development e-recruitment system employs 3-tier web architecture. The system consisted of design activities that produce system specifications satisfying the functional requirements that were developed in the system analysis process. A Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used to build a formal model of the university recruitment system. The Web-based University Recruitment System (WBURS) was designed to be user friendly and it is easy to navigate. A Macromedia dream wave was used in coding and developing website; SWISHmax was also used for creating graphics and animation in developing the website. Structured Query Language (SQL) was employed in creation of the database for the website and adoption of PHP (Hypertext Processor) was adopted to connect the website to a database. The performance of the developed system was evaluated by consulting three university staff and relevant information was collated through personal interviews and questionnaires was administered to the staff of those university, Human Resource Departments and other relevant professionals of these university.

The purpose of this study was to produce a management information system product and the Kendal Regency PBSI athlete database, test the effectiveness and analyze the acceptance of the Kendal Regency PBSI athlete management information system and database product so that the system product can play a role in the data input process and make it easier for users to find information. The research method used is development research. The development procedure used includes several stages, namely; 1) research and data collection; 2) product planning, and 3) product development. The instruments used in this development research are questionnaires, observations and interviews. The subjects and places of research are PBSI administrators, club administrators, coaches and athletes under the auspices of PBSI Kendal Regency. This research aims to produce a website-based product management information system and database of PBSI athletes in the Kendal Regency that can be accessed via computers and smartphones so that it can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Test the product's effectiveness on a small group scale with an overall score of "Good" at 71.11%. Test the effectiveness of large group products with an overall score of "Very Good" of 89.29%. Based on the results of this study, the conclusions obtained are to produce SIM products and athlete databases that are effective and efficient when used.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pembuatan website ini adalah metode Siklus Hidup Pengembangan Sistem / System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model waterfall dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Prerocessor), sistem database MySql. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba menggunakan browser, perangkat dan terhadap responden, dapat disimpulkan bahwa website Wenovel dapat berjalan secara fungsional dan dapat dijalankan di beberapa jenis browser yang berbeda. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengakses halaman website melalui browser akan berbeda-beda tergantung dengan kekuatan sinyal yang digunakan.

The tensor nature of single- and polycrystalline materials' physical properties highlights both the diversity of possible technological applications and the difficulties of assimilation for those new to the subject. The Material Properties Open Database (MPOD) [1] is a useful tool that provides access to a wide spectrum of properties tensors for an extensive selection of materials. In the present contribution an extension of the MPOD system is reported. The introduced innovation is the output, in the form of a graphical representation, of registered second, third and fourth rank tensors. The objective, as an educational project, is to provide the crystallographic community a friendly means to help the intuitive understanding of crystalline anisotropy. The given graphical output is the so-called longitudinal surface representation [2]. The accompanying figure shows an example of the MPOD graphical output. Shown surfaces represent the compliance tensor and its inverse (Young's modulus) longitudinal surfaces for a silver single-crystal. MPOD's new version may be accessed by the original website http://www.materialproperties.org/ and also by its Mexican mirror http://mpod.cimav.edu.mx. The MPOD websites continue their development. The international MPOD group systematically adds new published data. Modeling and representing textured polycrystals' properties is on target [3].
