Abstract:
The report is about reducing the Eigen weight of a reach stacker in order to obtain decreased fuel consumption. The detail the product development treats is the telescopic boom. By using steel of higher strength the dimension can be decreased, which in turn results in a reduced weight. Suitable steel for the application might be the high strength structural steel of designation S690QL. With support of calculations and CAD simulations the possible weight reduction is assumed to amount to 28%.

One major approach to weight stigma reduction consists of decreasing beliefs about the personal controllability of—and responsibility for—obesity by educating about its biogenetic causes. Evidence on the efficacy of this approach is mixed, and it remains unclear whether this would create a deterministic view, potentially leading to detrimental side-effects. Two independent studies from Germany using randomized designs with delayed-intervention control groups served to (1) develop and pilot a brief, interactive stigma reduction intervention to educate N = 128 university students on gene × envir

Abstract:
There is currently a lack of safe and effective treatments for obesity. The administration of long acting analogues of satiety gut hormones has been suggested as a potential weight loss pharmacotherapy. The gut hormone oxyntomodulin is a natural dual agonist that generates weight loss by reducing food intake and increasing energy expenditure; effects which are believed to be mediated by the GLP-1 receptor and glucagon receptor respectively. Previously designed long acting oxyntomodulin analogues have limited potency compared to native glucagon and GLP-1, due to the addition of large molecules

Many-objective optimization problems (MaOPs), in which the number of objectives is greater than three, are common in various applications, and have drawn many scholars' attention. Evolutionary multiobjective optimization (EMO) algorithms have been successfully applied to solve bi- and tri-objective optimization problems. However, MaOPs are more challenging compared with the bi- and tri-objective optimization problems. The performances of most existing classical EMO algorithms generally deteriorate over the number of objectives. Thus, this thesis presents a weight design method to modify classi
