Full textThis study portrayed the process of communication and political marketing in the public life of Wenceslau Braz, president of Brazil from 1914 to 1918. She approached the Brazilian policy of that time and showed the strategies of persuasion used to indicate the position of the miner, showing how the press at the time reacted in this election period. The methodology that guided this dissertation was to "Case Study", based on the basics of Robert Yin, where several studies were conducted bibliographic, documentary and interviews with family and friends of Wenceslas. In addition four of the Brazilian press publications were analyzed. It is concluded that the participation of the press was quite irrelevant in this process and the electoral process was dictated by the political regime of the time.
Esta pesquisa retratou o processo de comunicação e marketing político na vida pública de Wenceslau Braz, presidente do Brasil de 1914 a 1918. Ela abordou a política brasileira daquela época e mostrou as estratégias de convencimento usadas para indicação do mineiro ao cargo, revelando de que maneira a imprensa da época reagiu nesse período eleitoral. A metodologia que norteou essa dissertação foi a de Estudo de Caso , baseado nos conceitos básicos de Robert Yin, onde foram realizados vários estudos bibliográficos, documentais e entrevistas com familiares e amigos de Wenceslau. Complementarmente quatro publicações da imprensa brasileira foram analisadas. Conclui-se que a participação da imprensa nesse processo foi bem irrelevante e o processo eleitoral foi ditado pelo regime político da época.

Full textThe present work is in the research line Institutional Avaliation . Its purpose is to know taking care conceptions in Nursing, identify used strategies to the teaching of taking care, reflect on the responsibility of the discipline: Fundamental Semiology Notions in the construction of taking care in Nursing as weel to understanding the logical applied to Methodological resorts choice to the process of taking care teaching. The researched people were 15 academic teaching staff and professionals in Nursing at Wenceslau Braz Nursing School. We chose to congratulate the investigation, having as a theorical methodological support the quality approach in which one it was pointed the obtained data in mainly three categories to the elaborating analyses: Taking care conceptions in Nursing, Pedagogical principles of taking care teaching, The objective of the disciplines in professional Education. The results concerning to the teaching staff are divided among technical, humanist and changing views. The ones who defende humanistic conception keep valueing the the technical racionality. We got to the conclusion that we need to rescue in the Nursing School the Care Education centered in the human approach through the reorganization of the Pedagogical work.

Optamos por privilegiar a investiga??o, tendo como suporte te?rico-metodol?gico a abordagem qualitativa, na qual delimitamos os dados obtidos em tr?s categorias constru?das a priori para elabora??o da an?lise: Concep??es de Cuidar em Enfermagem, Princ?pios Pedag?gicos no Ensino do Cuidar e o Papel das Disciplinas na Forma??o Profissional . Full textThe objective of this work is the discussion about the political dynamics and some of the economic factors judged relevant and that together contributed in the decision of the Government of the Union to create a federal system of professional schools, the Apprentices Craftsmen Schools (EAAs), during the short Presidential term (1909/1910) of the leader from Nilo Procópio Peçanha, under the command of the Ministry of Agriculture. The said school instituted by this president was a concrete part of a political project alternative to that of the predominant liberalism of the São Paulo-Minas axis during the First Brazilian Republic. The EAAs was initiated by a representative leadership of a fraction of the Brazilian oligarchy whose political-administrative project, besides having emerged in a secondary economic pole of the country, also represented the political group\'s desire to make the Union\'s role more protagonist in the face of economic and some of the country\'s social problems, despite sharing the same values and making use of the same strategies of the oligarchic Republic and its clientelistic culture. In a sense, they were not adept at unrestricted federalism and, feeling prejudiced by the predominance of the political and economic interests of the São Paulo oligarchy and its associates at the time, proposed a more interventionist federal state, including in the field of Education. States. We will review the initial course of the Apprentices Craftsmen Schools until the 1930s, including the completion of this federal education system with the inclusion of the Wenceslau Braz Normal School of Arts and Crafts. We will also highlight the institutional transformations that the EAAs have experienced over the years, such as the \"Remodeling Service\" led by the engineer João Lüderitz, who proposed to modernize the institution. We will analyze some of its political, administrative and economic difficulties in the context of the Brazilian society of the First Republic, besides discussing certain characteristics as an institution that proposes professional education for the popular classes and, finally, if there was any legacy for Brazilian education.
