Nasaangeldiazioidessp. nov. is described and illustrated. The species is restricted to two forest remnants on the western slope of the northern Peruvian Andes (Dept. Lambayeque) where it is found in the undergrowth of primary forest. The new taxon shows a unique leaf morphology in the family Loasaceae. Molecular and morphological data show that the new species belongs to the Nasatriphylla group. Since the relic forests of the north-western Andes are increasingly threatened by the effects of climate change, i.e. droughts and wildfires, the new species already faces imminent extinction.

Abstract Background Around half of advanced melanoma patients develop brain metastases (BM) and survival is still measured in months. Current treatments, although increasingly effective, are not sufficient for this patient group, necessitating development of new therapeutic options. Drugs targeting BM specifically are a scarcity. However, utilizing drug repurposing, i.e. novel uses of drugs already approved for other medical conditions, may broaden available therapy options. Medications used to treat psychosis can penetrate an intact blood-brain barrier and it has been shown that patients with

Public debt is a very important tool that allows countries to access finance and reach their goals. However, taking a high amount of debt, more than a country can handle, can hamper economic growth or even cause an economic downturn. That is why it is very important for countries to manage their debt effectively so that the debt is sustainable and contributes to economic growth. Each country can tolerate a different level of debt without it causing trouble for its economy, and it is quite important for them to find the point where if the public debt exceeds, it might negatively impact their ec
