A total of eighteen crop types were tested for their reaction against Rhizoctonia solani under artificially inoculated conditions. Pathogenicity test revealed that various crop seedlings showed different percentages of damping off and root rot diseases. Results indicated highest incidence of damping off disease in fenugreek and lowest in chilly seedlings. The incidence of root disease was maximum in lentil and minimum in green gram, while fenugreek showed nil as it got almost completely damaged by damping off disease.

Abstract The Qusaiba formation is an emerging unconventional play in Saudi Arabia. A detailed study was conducted on acquired representative samples which covered all the units of the Qusaiba formation from three locations in North Western Saudi Arabia. This study was conducted to fully characterized the formation to understand the governing petrophysical factors, their variability in the basin and implications for reservoir fluid dynamics in this unconventional reservoir. Soft X-ray contact microscopy (SXCM), has many applications in both life and material sciences. In the case of life sciences SXCM enables the study of the ultrastructure of living hydrated specimens, without the need of dehydration or other chemical pretreatment, by using suitable pulsed X-ray sources such as laser plasmas [1,2].
