Abstract:

Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva genusordningen i Martin Widmarks böcker om Lasse-Majas detektivbyrå samt undersöka hur detta, på en teoretisk nivå, kan påverka barns uppfattning av genus. Utgångspunkten i textanalysen har varit Kritisk ideologianalys som syftar till att först beskriva och förklara texterna för att sedan sätta dem i relation till dess mottagare. Jag har använt mig av genusteorier som beskriver hur genusordningen är uppbyggd samt hur genus konstrueras och rekonstrueras. Dessa teorier har sedan kopplats till de böcker som jag har undersökt. Jag har också använt mig av forskning som beskriver barnlitteraturen och hur den kan påverka läsarens bild av genus och genusordningen.

Min studie visade att karaktärerna i böckerna skildras på ett relativt könsstereotypt sätt, främst de vuxna karaktärerna. Även huvudkaraktärerna Lasse och Maja skildras på detta sätt visade det sig vid en närmare granskning. Det finns karaktärer i böckerna som bryter mot den rådande genusordningen, även om de är få. Böckerna skildrar med andra ord den genusordning som finns i vårt samhälle och kan bekräfta den bild av genus som en läsare har. Min slutsats är därför att det är viktigt att barn får lära sig att tänka kriktiskt och reflektera över genus och genusordningen för att på så sätt bli medveten om hur genus konstrueras och rekonstrueras.

Abstract:
Uppsatsen analyserar två barndeckare. Den första boken som analyseras, Astrid Lindgrens Mästerdetektiven Blomkvist (2002; originalutgåva 1946) var en av de första svenska böckerna inom genren barndeckare. Den andra boken som analyseras är Martin Widmarks Diamantmysteriet (2002) som är den första delen i en idag mycket populär barndeckarserie. Syftet med uppsatsen är att se vilka likheter och skillnader samt intertextuella relationer som finns mellan verken. Analysen görs först utifrån en narrativ studie av de båda verken. Därefter görs en komparativ analys mellan verken. Analysen lyfter några likheter, olikheter och intertextuella relationer som finns mellan verken, samt hur man som lärare kan använda de litterära verken i sin undervisning.

Abstract:
In this essay seven children’s books aimed at the age group 6-9 years are read using a matrix to determine if the characters, from a viewpoint considering current gender norms and power, are normative, norm-breaking or falsely norm-breaking. The latter means that they have been attributed transgressive characteristics without there being any shift in power balance from the masculine to the feminine. Results show that the authors have tried to break gender norms, for example with regards to the child -characters’ clothes, which are consistently very alike regardless of gender. These efforts remain shallow as the power still rests with the boys, whose awareness of their own position within the gender -power system give them a sense of intrinsic power (power-to). The female characters reflect societal gender norms by being self-effacing, compliant and reactive, for example by praising the boys, providing them with room to be competent as well as both silencing themselves and letting themselves be silenced. The boy -characters show falsely norm-breaking behaviour in some areas, for example by having atypically broad emotional spectra, yet the boys’ superiority is retained and is reflected in their behaviour towards the female characters.
I denna uppsats granskas sju stycken barnböcker för åldersgruppen 6–9 år utifrån en matris för att bestämma ifall karaktärerna, med utgångspunkt i rådande genusnormer och i förhållande till makt, är normativa, normbrytande eller falskt normbrytande. Det senare innebär att de tillskrivs transgressiva egenskaper, utan att någon maktförskjutning från det maskulina till det feminina sker.Resultatet visar på försök från författarnas sida att bryta genusnormer, t.ex. vad gäller barnkaraktärernas kläder som genomgående är mycket lika oavsett genustillhörighet. Dessa försök blir dock ytliga då makten i de flesta fall fortfarande vilar hos pojkarna, vilkas medvetenhet om sin position i könsmaktssystemet ger dem en inneboende känsla av makt (power-to). De kvinnliga karaktärerna reflekterar samhällets normer genom att vara omvärldsorienterade, fogliga och reaktiva, t.ex. genom att berömma pojkkaraktärerna, ge dem utrymme att vara kompetenta samt att både tysta sig själva och låta sig tystas. Pojkkaraktärerna visar på vissa områden exempel på falskt normbrytande beteende, t.ex. genom att ha atypiskt breda känslospektra, medan pojkarnas överordning kvarstår och reflekteras i deras beteende gentemot flickkaraktärerna.

Abstract:
Barnböcker anklagas ibland för att reproducera genusstereotyper. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka på vilket sätt genus framställs i modern svensk barnlitteratur genom en analys av Martin Widmarks populära barnboksserie LasseMajas detektivbyrå. Analysverktyget utgörs av den systemisk-funktionella grammatikens transitivitetsanalys och appliceras på en titel i barnboksserien. Resultatet av analysen uppvisar att framställningen av bokens huvudpersoner Lasse och Maja i huvudsak bryter mot gängse genusstereotyper, medan framställningen av bipersonerna reproducerar dem. Slutsatsen är att författaren tillgriper ett alternativt framställningssätt av huvudpersonerna eftersom det idag ofta förutsätts att unga läsares förebilder inte bör reproducera genusstereotyper. Han tillgriper däremot ett traditionellt framställningssätt av bipersonerna dels för att uppnå en komisk effekt genom att anspela på stereotyper, dels för att belysa samhälleliga problem relaterade till kroppsideal och mobbning.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to clinically compare the use of a 810 nm diode laser (DL) following modified Widman flap (test sites) to that of modified Widman flap (MWF) alone (control sites). Thirteen patients with periodontal pockets in two different quadrants with at least one tooth exhibiting a pocket depth of >7 millimeters and attachment levels of >7mm were selected. One side was randomly selected to receive MWF and the other to receive a diode laser following MWF. The DL was used to de-epithelialize the inner part of the periodontal flap and photo-biostimulate the surgical area. Probing depth (PD), clinical attachment levels (CAL), plaque index (PI), and gingival index (GI) were evaluated at baseline, 6 weeks and 5 months. Pain scale assessment (PS), pain medication consumption (PM), tissue edema (TE), and tissue color (TC) were evaluated one week following surgery. Treatment differences were analyzed using McNemar’s test, paired t-tests or a Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. No statistical differences of CAL gain, PD, GI and PI reduction between laser sites and control sites were seen. Statistically significant differences were seen for TE (p=0.041), PM (p<0.001) and PS (p<0.001) favoring test sites. TC did not show a statistically significant difference (p=0.9766). Patients rated the first surgical treatment performed as more painful than the second (p<0.002). The use of a 810 nm diode laser following modified Widman flap provided additional benefits in terms of less edema and post operative pain.

Contemporary music for clarinet is today often part of a clarinettists repertoire and contemporary compositions are normally included in compulsory repertoire of world competitions. For every player is necessary to know about contemporary music and have an informations about modern techniques which offer clarinet sound. This thesis deals with contemporary efects in theoretical and practical point of view. In the same time explores influence of contemporary music over the young clarinet players and describes their succes in create these techniques. This work also follow up three solo pieces for clarinet: Jörg Widmann - Fantasie, Slavomír Hořínka - Ruáh, Tiberiu Oláh - Sonata. There is a theoretical and practical preview about these compositions and also their influence on audience. One chapter is devoted to personality of clarinettist Karel Dohnal, pathfinder for contemporary clarinet music.

Resumo: A constante preocupação de como propiciar ao aluno de piano uma visão mais ampla do fazer musical, mais relacionada com a sua época, com o indivíduo, incita a investigação por aquilo que possa expandir essas perspectivas. Nesse sentido, é importante haver pesquisas que promovam, com o intuito de difusão e estudo aprofundado, obras musicais que apresentam preocupação com a iniciação a uma linguagem musical contemporânea à época. Ao deparar-se com a coleção de 162 peças progressivas para piano de Ernst Widmer - o Ludus Brasiliensis - essas questões emergem e surge a necessidade de esclarecimento de sentidos e significados dessa música. Neste estudo, o objetivo é revelar sentidos e significados da música de Widmer a partir da apresentação e discussão dos elementos estilísticos da peça nº 162 concatenação do Ludus Brasiliensis. A última peça da coleção, concatenação, apresenta um painel de tendências estéticas e procedimentos técnicos diversificados que sintetizam a proposta de todo o Ludus Brasiliensis. Ela é representativa do repertório para piano no Brasil dos anos 60, do estilo do compositor e do local em que foi escrita. Para o entendimento da peça, foi conduzida uma proposta de análise da mesma, observando as considerações analíticas propostas por LaRue (1989). A metodologia está basicamente dividida em três etapas: em um primeiro momento, foram levantadas questões a fim de situar o texto musical na produção do compositor e no contexto daquele período. Em seguida, foi realizado um estudo descritivo dos elementos musicais da peça baseado em três níveis analíticos: macro, média e micro-análise. Finalmente, foi realizada a síntese e reflexão crítica dos dados coletados. Em termos de resultados, na macroanálise, as questões analisadas na partitura revelaram o aspecto mosaico da peça, no qual elementos celulares presentes no fragmento inicial pervadem toda a obra. As diferentes seções e partes estão concatenadas por elementos de coerência, mas não é possível pensar que a peça se sustenta em parâmetros de unidade, uma vez que as dicotomias não são resolvidas. A relação é mais paradoxal que dialética. Em relação às estruturas médias, foi possível verificar a adaptação de estruturas formais relacionadas ao objetivismo neoclássico. Na microanálise, foi verificado que o emprego de síncopes e de determinados padrões rítmicos, associado ao uso de uma harmonia modal, claramente demonstra a referência regional proposta por Widmer. O estudo mostrou como o ecletismo estilístico, aliado a ideia de miscigenação, de concatenação, revelou-se nessa obra como um programa estético e técnico, e como a perspectiva didática de Widmer resultou em uma abordagem consistente e rica
Abstract: The recurrent preoccupation of how to provide to the student of piano a broader view of the process of making music, which is more related to its time, with the individual, fosters the investigation about what could expand those perspectives. In this sense, it is important to have research that promote, with the intention of diffusion and deep study, musical works that present the preoccupation with a musical language initiation contemporary to the epoch. When we face the collection of 162 progressive pieces to piano from Ernst Widmer - the Ludus Brasiliensis - those questions emerge and it is stated the necessity of enlightenment of senses and meanings of this music. In this study, the objective is to reveal meanings and senses of the music from Widmer since the presentation and discussion of stylistic elements of the piece number 162 concatenação of Ludus Brasiliensis. The last piece of the collection, concatenação, presents a panel of the esthetical tendencies and diversified technical procedures that synthesize the proposal of all Ludus Brasiliensis. It is a representative piece of the repertoire for piano in the Brazil of the 60s, of the style of the composer and of the place where it was written. To the understanding of the piece, a proposal of stylistic analysis of the piece was conducted, observing the analytical considerations proposed by LaRue (1989). The methodology is basically divided into three steps: firstly, some questions were stated to situate the musical text in the composer's production and in the context of that period. Then, a descriptive study of the musical elements of the piece was done based on three analytical levels: macro, middle and micro analysis. Finally, a synthesis and critical reflection of the data collected was done. In terms of results, in the macroanalysis, the analyzed questions in the score revealed the mosaical aspect of the piece, in which cellular elements present in the initial fragment pervade all the work. The different sections and parts are concatenated by coherence elements, but it is not possible to think that the piece is based on parameters of unit, since the dichotomies are not solved. The relation is more paradoxal than dialectic. In relation to the middle structures, it was possible to verify the adaptation of formal structures related to the neoclassic objectivism. In the microanalysis, the use of syncopation and of determined rhythmic patterns, associated to the use of a modal harmony, clearly demonstrate the regional reference proposed by Widmer. The study has shown how the stylistic eclecticism, allied to the idea of miscegenation, of concatenation, was revealed in this musical work as an esthetical and technical program, and, how the didactic perspective of Widmer resulted in a consistent and rich approach

Abstract:
This research focuses on reproductive biology and pollination ecology of entomophilous angiosperms, with particular concern to reproductive success in small and isolated populations of species that occur at their distribution limits or are endemic. I considered three perennial herbs as model species: Primula apennina Widmer, Dictamnus albus L. and Convolvulus lineatus L. I carried out field work on natural populations and performed laboratory analyses on specific critical aspects (resource allocation, pollen viability, stigmatic receptivity, physiological self-incompatibility, seed viability), through which I analysed different aspects related to plant fitness, such as production of viable seed, demographic structure of populations, type and efficiency of plant-pollinator system, and limiting factors.

Abstract:
Determina el efecto de la Fibrina Rica en Plaquetas (FRP) en la cicatrización de la encía en cobayos evaluada histológicamente post colgajo de Widman Modificado. El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativa, aplicada y explicativa; con un diseño de investigación experimental, longitudinal y prospectivo. Se utilizaron 15 cobayos (Cavia Porcellus) machos de raza peruana de la línea mejorada “la Molina” de 2 meses de edad aproximada. El estudio fue a boca partida obteniéndose 30 unidades muéstrales de análisis histológico post cirugía, se formaron 2 grupos con 15 unidades muéstrales: uno experimental (lado derecho mandibular, con aplicación de FRP) y otro control (lado izquierdo mandibular, donde no se aplicó tratamiento alguno); los animales fueron sacrificados progresivamente para evaluar las diferentes fases de cicatrización de la encía: 5 cobayos a las 48 horas (reacción inflamatoria), 5 cobayos a los 7 días (proceso de granulación) y finalmente 5 cobayos a los 14 días (proceso de reepitelización); en cada grupo de sacrificio se obtuvieron 10 muestras (5 experimentales y 5 controles). Los resultados evidenciaron que existe diferencia significativa entre el grupo experimental y control en la reacción inflamatoria (neutrófilos valor p=0.0169 y macrófagos valor p=0.0076) y en el proceso de reepitelización (valor p=0.0042); pero no existe diferencia significativa en la reacción inflamatoria de linfocitos (valor p=0.0835) y en el proceso de granulación (valor p=0.083). Se concluye que la aplicación de FRP tiene un efecto positivo en la cicatrización de la encía en cobayos post colgajo de Widman Modificado.
