Este estudo ressalta a ausência de conhecimento sobre a economia ecológica por parte do crescente número de profissionais formados em Gestão Ambiental. O autor realiza uma síntese dos princípios e fundamentos da economia ecológica, especialmente por meio das ideias de dois dos seus principais pensadores (Georgescu-Röegen e Boulding) e indica porque conhecer as ideias principais dessa escola de pensamento é fundamental para profissionais de Gestão Ambiental. Argumenta-se que esses profissionais não podem prescindir da economia ecológica, sob pena de caírem na ilusão do mito da hipótese win-win e terem uma visão incompleta das dificuldades de estabelecermos uma sociedade sustentável.

ZusammenfassungDer vorliegende Fallbericht beschreibt die Therapie und das Behandlungsergebnis eines erwachsenen Patienten mit Angle-Klasse-II/1-Malokklusion durch eine vollständig individualisierte Lingualapparatur (WIN, DW Lingual Systems, Bad Essen, Germany) in Verbindung mit skelettaler Verankerung (Gaumenimplantat, Orthosystem, Straumann, Basel, Switzerland). Die maximale Verankerung ermöglichte eine En-masse-Distalisation der gesamten Oberkieferdentition. Eine bilaterale Neutralokklusion mit physiologischem Overjet und Overbite konnte erfolgreich eingestellt werden.

Zusammenfassung Über lange jähre wurden Public Private Partnership (PPP) als Organisationsformen zu allseitigem Nutzen und als ,Win-Win-Situationen’ gesehen. Gegenüber diesen positiv verzerrten Zuschreibungen zielt der vorliegende Beitrag auf eine nüchterne und kritische Bestandsaufnahme ab. Gesteigerte Problemlösungsfähigkeit durch sektorübergreifende Kooperationen zwischen Staat, Markt und Zivilgesellschaft ist nicht die Regel, sondern ein voraussetzungsvoller Prozess. Um dieses Argument auszuführen, wird in diesem Beitrag zunächst ein Oberblick über Public Private Partnership (PPP) gegeben und der entsprechende Forschungsstand resümiert. Anschließend an eine Beschreibung der Ausgangsmotive unterschiedlicher Akteure, die sich an PPP beteiligen, wird der ‚Mythos der Interdependenz’ kritisiert, der einen Gutteil der Debatte um öffentlich-private Partnerschaften prägt. Im Rahmen einer PPP-Taxonomie werden fünf unterschiedliche idealtypische Formen vorgestellt und charakterisiert. Dabei handelt es sich um die organisatorische, vertragliche, netzwerkartige, fokale und erzwungene PPP. Der Skizze des empirisch erfassten Leistungsvermögens von PPP folgt das Plädoyer, die zukünftige Forschung sektorübergreifender Kooperation auf die Dynamiken der Usurpation und des synergetischen Experiments zu fokussieren.

As interações de crianças cegas têm sido objeto de crescente interesse nas últimas décadas. Diante disso, os objetivos desse estudo, propostos em classes inclusivas da Educação Infantil, foram: caracterizar a interação social de crianças cegas que receberam ou não estimulação constante e especializada; e caracterizar a interação social de crianças cegas e videntes. Participaram duas crianças cegas com aproximadamente cinco anos e seus colegas de sala regular. Foram organizadas situações em que as crianças pudessem brincar, e seus desempenhos foram videogravados. Foi adotado um sistema de classificação que permitiu a análise comparativa das interações dos participantes e utilizado o SPSS-WIN (13.0) para realizar as análises estatísticas. Foram encontradas semelhanças e diferenças significativas ao comparar as características das interações das crianças cegas com as das videntes. Foi possível verificar que, havendo estimulação constante e especializada, a criança cega apresenta comportamentos semelhantes aos de uma criança vidente no ambiente escolar.

Abstract:
O método de eletrocardiografia computadorizada (ECG-C) vem sendo crescentemente difundido na medicina veterinária, havendo atualmente diversas marcas e modelos de eletrocardiógrafos disponíveis no mercado. Diante da possibilidade de diferenças na sensibilidade e na reprodutibilidade das medidas obtidas nos traçados, o presente estudo teve como objetivo comparar os parâmetros eletrocardiográficos de cães, obtidos por dois sistemas. Foram avaliados dois diferentes softwares computadorizados, o Wincardio Micromed® (WIN) e o modelo TEB ECGPC® (TEB). Quarenta e dois cães hígidos, de diferentes raças (Cocker Spaniel, Daschund, Labrador, Pinscher, Pit Bull Terrier Poodle, Schnauzer, Shit Tzu, Yorkshire e sem raça definida), machos e fêmeas e com idade entre 4 meses e 16 anos foram agrupados segundo o peso e examinados pelos dois sistemas. As medidas eletrocardiográficas dos diferentes traçados foram analisadas na derivação DII. Os resultados indicaram que o sistema TEB apresentou maior sensibilidade na obtenção das medidas de duração da onda P e do complexo QRS, enquanto o sistema WIN foi mais sensível para determinar as medidas de amplitude dos mesmos parâmetros. Os animais de maior porte (26-37kg) apresentaram maior variância nas medidas de duração e amplitude de onda P e duração do complexo QRS em comparação aos cães de médio (14-25kg) e pequeno (1-13kg) porte. O achado de diferenças entre os sistemas testados deve ser levado em consideração ao se empregar os diversos equipamentos para diagnóstico por meio de ECG-C na rotina clínica, de modo a evitarem-se divergências na interpretação dos exames entre diferentes prestadores de serviços veterinários.

Dissertação de Mestrado em Relações Internacionais<br>O Estatuto de Jerusalém é um dos principais problemas que não foi resolvido ao longo da história do conflito entre Israel e a Palestina. O objetivo desta tese é analisar as mudanças nas posições dos negociadores israelitas e palestinianos e dos constituintes domésticos de ambas as partes em relação ao estatuto de Jerusalém. Foi usada a abordagem teórica de jogos de dois níveis, cujo argumento basilar é de que o negociador procura obter um acordo que seja atrativo para os seus constituintes domésticos. No caso de Israel foi escolhida a opinião pública e o Knesset e no caso da Palestina a opinião pública e o partido Fatah como constituintes internos. Foram analisados os win-sets de cada lado e a forma como estes moldaram as negociações. Foram consideradas as pressões externas dos EUA e da Liga Árabe nos negociadores e seus constituintes. Foi feita a pesquisa documental extensiva da literatura, artigos de jornais de notícias, discursos políticos, relatórios das negociações e estudos da opinião pública. Foi encontrado que durante o processo de paz de Annapolis ambas as partes tiveram maiores hipóteses de se comprometerem em relação a Jerusalém Oriental. A coligação governamental israelita apontava mais para o centro do espectro político, e o público de ambos os lados estava mais disposto a assumir compromissos sobre Jerusalém Oriental. Com a subida de Netanyahu ao poder e a formação das sucessivas coligações governamentais da direita, para Israel não seria possível aceitar compromissos em relação à cidade. O apoio público aos compromissos sobre Jerusalém dos dois lados decresceu ao longo dos anos. O lado palestiniano, apesar de manter a posição constante – estabelecimento da soberania palestiniana sobre os territórios ocupados por Israel desde 1967, acabaria por estar mais disposto a assumir compromissos sobre Jerusalém Oriental.<br>The status of Jerusalem has been one of the main unresolved issues throughout all the history of Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the shifts of the Israeli and Palestinian negotiators positions and of its domestic constituents on the Jerusalem status. Two-Level Games approach was used to analyze this issue. In this approach negotiator seeks to achieve an agreement that will be attractive to his domestic constituents. Public opinion and Knesset in the case of Israel and public opinion and Fatah party in the case of Palestine were considered as domestic constituents in this thesis. The win-sets of each side and the way they shaped the negotiations were analyzed. External influences, such as international pressures of US and Arab League and their reverberations were also considered. An extensive research of the literature, newspaper articles, public discourses, negotiations reports, official documents, and public opinion polls, was performed. It was found that both parties had the greatest opportunity to compromise over East Jerusalem during Annapolis peace process: the Governmental coalition of Israel was shifted to the centre of the political spectrum and public support of both sides was the highest during this period. With Netanyahu’s rise to the power, successive governmental coalitions shifted more to the right and would not accept any compromise over Jerusalem. Public support for negotiations and compromises over Jerusalem has also dropped on both sides. In case of Palestine, despite maintaining a constant position – establishing Palestinian sovereignty over territories which Israel occupied in 1967, Abbas and Fatah were willing to accept compromises over East Jerusalem.<br>N/A

In May 1960, Master Tara Singh declared that the Sikhs would win or die in the battle for ‘Punjabi Suba’. Arrested two days later, he was released on 4 January 1961 for consultation with Sant Fateh Singh who was on fast. After Master Tara Singh’s assurance that the demand had been accepted in principle, Sant Fateh Singh broke his fast. But nothing came out of his talks with Nehru. Now Master Tara Singh went on fast on 15 August 1961. After his meeting with Jai Prakash Narayan, he was willing to accept arbitration. Three names suggested for a commission were acceptable to him and he broke his fast on 1 October. The Das Commission, instituted by the government with totally different personnel, was boycotted by the Akalis. Its verdict came in February 1962 that there was no discrimination against the Sikhs.
