Abstract It is known that concentric eyewalls can influence tropical cyclone (TC) intensity. However, they can also influence TC track. Observations indicate that TCs with concentric eyewalls are often accompanied by wobbling of the inner eyewall, a motion that gives rise to cycloidal tracks. Currently, there is no general consensus of what might constitute the dominant triggering mechanism of these wobbles. In this paper we revisit the fundamentals. The control case constitutes a TC with symmetric concentric eyewalls embedded in a quiescent environment. Two sets of experiments are conducted:

It is shown how to vary the control gains with respect to the speed of the skateboard to stabilize the uniform motion. The critical reflex delay of the skater is determined as the function of the speed. Based on this analysis,

A wealth of literature is available reporting causes and risk factors related to CAI,still thereis a lack of understanding regarding rehabilitation procedures. Aim: To compare effect of BOSU ball and wobble board along with strength training on muscle strength, dynamic balance, agility and functional performance in recreational runners with CAI. Materials and Methods: It was an experimental study design conducted at Physio

This Paper Will Examine The Effect Of A Motorcycle Driving Into A Longitudinal Joint, Sometimes Called A Rut. If The Approach Angle Is Approximately Less Than Ten Degrees In The Direction Of Travel, The Forces That Are Generated On The Front Tire Due To Striking The Rut, Joint Or Curb, May Cause The Front Motorcycle Tire To Lose Its Ability To Steer Or Brake, And May Initiate A Vibration, Or Caster Effect, Or Wobble, Which Can Result In The Instability And Capsizing The Motorcycle.

Abstract Background The aim of the present study was to compare the effect of a wobble board training (WBT) course with and without cognitive intervention (CI) on balance, ankle proprioception and jump-landing kinetic parameters in active men with chronic ankle instability (CAI). Methods Twenty-one active men in the age range of 18–25 years with CAI were randomly divided into three groups of WBT for five weeks as follows: with CI (n = 7); without CI (n = 7); control (n = 7). In this study, balance was evaluated by Y-Balance Test and Balance Error Scoring System, proprioception was evaluated as

The six subunits (Elp1 to Elp6) Elongator complex promotes specific uridine modifications in tRNA’s wobble site. Moreover, this complex has been indirectly involved in the regulation of α-tubulin acetylation in microtubules (MTs) via the stabilization of ATP-Citrate Lyase (Acly), the main cytosolic source of acetyl-CoA production in cells, a key substrate used for global protein acetylation. Here, we report additional evidence that Elongator activity is important for proper cytoskeleton remodeling as cells lacking expression of Elp1 show morphology impairment; including distinct neurite proces

A 2-year-old Maltese was presented with wobbly gait of the pelvic limbs. Based on imaging examinations, a diagnosis of congenital malformation at T5–T8 and severe kyphosis causing spinal cord compression at T6–T7 was made. Dorsal laminectomy and stabilization of T6 and T7 vertebrae were performed. As the size of the vertebrae was small and they were severely deformed, novel custom-made titanium implants were used for spinal stabilization. Clinical signs were resolved 2 weeks after surgery. Although radiographic examination 373 days after surgery showed slight loosening of implants, post-operat
