Abstract:

Syftet med denna studie är att skapa en djupare förståelse för hur professionella inom kvinnojouren förklarar mäns våld mot kvinnor i parrelationer. Studien är baserad på semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer med åtta anställda vid kvinnojourer belägna i olika delar av landet. Frågorna fokuserade på orsaker till att varför kvinnor stannar kvar i ett våldsamt förhållande samt de bakomliggande orsakerna till våld.
