The investigation of unconscious cognition involves especially problems with the methodology of measuring implicit and explicit proportions of different task performances. In this study the process dissociation procedure of Jacoby and its modification within the multinomial modelling framework for an indirect word-nonword-discrimination task is applied to a sample of 45 healthy students. The paradigm includes acoustically presented stimuli. During a learning phase, subjects listened to a series of neutral and threatening words. AbstractIn everyday life, recognition decisions often have to be made for multiple objects simultaneously. In contrast, research on recognition memory has predominantly relied on single-item recognition paradigms. We present a first systematic investigation into the cognitive processes that differ between single-word and paired-word tests of recognition memory. In a single-word test, participants categorize previously presented words and new words as having been studied before (old) or not (new). In a paired-word test, however, the test words are randomly paired, and participants provide joint

Spelling mistakes of words in writing Rejang words are often found so it is difficult to understand. The method used in correcting word errors (spelling checkers) has been carried out by several researchers. In this research, words were improved in Rejang words based on the morphology of the Reajang language using the N-gram and Euclidean Distance methods. The process begins with forming the word practice with the N-gram method in cutting a number of words. In the testing process, the pre-process stages are carried out first and the training words are checked based on the existing dictionary.

AbstractMany common analysis methods for task-based functional MRI rely on detailed information about experiment design and events. Event recording and representation during cognitive experiments deserves more attention, as it forms an essential link between neuroimaging data and the cognition we wish to understand. The use of standardized data structures enables tools to directly use event-based metadata for preprocessing and analysis, allowing for more efficient processing and more standardized results. Biomass gasification is a promising technology for sustainable energy production. To date, extensive research has been conducted on biomass gasification, particularly focusing on the reaction models of the process. However, existing models are too complex to apply to the control system or to optimize the process operating conditions effectively, limiting their practical use for industrial applications. To address this, a simple reaction model for biomass gasification was developed and validated. A steady state simulation of the biomass gasification process is conducted to analyze gasifier beha

Accurate simulations of these systems, governed by coupled PDEs, ODEs, and algebraic equations, critically depend on precise parameter determination. Pre-compression rolls press air out of the die, while main compression rolls apply the force necessary for compacting the powder into tablets.
