Abstract:
Introduction: Work readiness is an advanced condition or process that will be experienced by students after they feel ready and have the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed by the world of work. Apart from work experience, work readiness is also influenced by individual internal conditions such as maturity and mental readiness and everything that requires their seriousness and focus. Work readiness requires a competency that must be prepared beforehand, this competency is influenced by the existence of self-efficacy. Self-efficacy, also known as social cognitive theory, or social learning theory, refers to an individual's belief that he or she is capable of carrying out a task. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and work readiness of nursing professional study program students at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in 2021. Methode: The research method used is correlation with a cross sectional approach, the number of respondents is 84 people. Sampling technique with total sampling technique. The results obtained were 61 people (72.6%) had high self-efficacy and 63 people (75.0%) student respondents had work readiness in the ready category. Results: The results of the Spearman Rank statistical test obtained a value of r = (.879) and p (value) = 0.000 (p <0,05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and student work readiness. Where the correlation level is in the high category and the direction of the relationship is positive, which means the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the student’s job readiness. Suggestion: Students are expected to be able to maintain or improve self-efficacy and work readiness so that they are able to enter the world of work and carry out tasks or jobs that will be obtained in the world of work.

Abstract:
Purpose Changes in the workplace have raised serious concerns about the future of work and the effectiveness of undergraduate academic programs to sufficiently prepare students for business. The purpose of this paper is to address this concern by exploring how internship employment (placement) is implicated in the young business graduates’ employability prospects. Design/methodology/approach This research explored the students’ perceptions regarding their degree of “work readiness” after completing an internship program. The concept of “work readiness” is conceptualized in terms of role clarity, ability and motivation. An institution of higher education in Greece provided the sampling frame for this research. Online survey data have been used. Findings Students who attend internship programs assessed positively all aspects of the work readiness construct. They knew what it was expected by employers from them to do at work. They were able to effectively apply basic academic skills, high-order skills and professional skills required by employers on the job and placed greater importance to the intrinsic rewards than the extrinsic ones. Research limitations/implications This is an exploratory study and is designed as a foundation for future empirical studies. Further research could examine the dimensions of the work readiness concept in other geographic contexts and validate the scale measurement with larger samples. Originality/value The integration of scattered pieces of literature on graduates’ employability through the lenses of “work readiness” is a novel theoretical approach to explore the effectiveness of internship programs on employability prospects in the Greek context.

Abstract:
There are two, related types of college readiness: (a) cognitive—students’ test scores and grades and (b) noncognitive—students’ academic mind-sets, behaviors, and motivation. This study uses an ethnographic approach to examine how an afterschool program for Latina/o high school youth fosters noncognitive factors of college readiness. Based on over 80 hr of participant observation and 31 semistructured interviews, this work demonstrates how an afterschool program acts as a supplement to students’ noncognitive factors of college readiness. The findings also suggest that afterschool programs for high school youth can act as hubs of behavioral nudges toward noncognitive college readiness and access.

Abstract:
BACKGROUND: As emotional and social competency training proliferates within a work readiness context, concerns remain regarding their efficacy. Data on these programs tends to be scarce and outcome objectives are often poorly defined. OBJECTIVE: Authors developed and tested a work readiness emotional and social competency program specifically designed for at-risk young adults, tailored with best practices in mind. METHOD: 84 clients of a community organization that provides employment support to young adults with disabilities (48 men and 36 women) with a mean age of 28.17 years (SD = 11.64) completed measures of emotional intelligence and alexithymia on either side of the 4-week intervention. RESULTS: Men’s interpersonal scores and women’s adaptability scores showed significant improvement across the intervention. In addition, women’s scores in both identifying and describing feelings improved significantly, as did men’s scores in describing feelings. CONCLUSIONS: Within the context of work readiness, participants in an intervention to improve emotional and social competencies can see key improvements to competencies linked to occupational attainment.

Abstract:

The purpose of this project was to implement a comprehensive readiness program for emancipated foster youth that were in need of job skills and support to assist with stability. Research indicates that instability leads to mental health concerns such as depression when multiple stressors and variables are combined. Emancipated foster youth run the risk of higher rates of depression as this population is more susceptible to negative outcomes such as joblessness, lower rates of higher education attainment, and few sources of support. This program entails the need for emancipated youth to acquire employment skills, mentoring support, and educational information in attempts to prevent higher rates of mental illness. Funding sources were researched and located to create the program based on the mission, geographic location, and monies awarded. This grant aims at supporting a readiness program as a part of the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services Transition Resource Center which provides referrals to emancipated youth.

Full text
Abstract:
Goal orientation is a construct that has been used to explain individuals' focus in achievement situations. Three subcomponents of this construct have been linked to a number of training-related processes and outcomes. Those higher on avoid performance goal orientation withdraw from situations in which they may appear incompetent to others. Those higher on prove performance goal orientation approach situations in which they can demonstrate their competence to others. Finally, those high on learning goal orientation approach situations in which they can continually grow and master new skills. Prior research has consistently found that effective learning strategies and outcomes are positively associated with learning goal orientation and negatively associated with avoid goal orientation. However, the findings with respect to prove goal orientation have been mixed. One possible reason for this is that the effect of prove goal orientation may be dependent on one's concurrent level of learning goal orientation. The present study investigated this notion using participants from an understudied population: unemployed adults. Specifically, data were collected from 188 unemployed females who participated in a training program designed to enhance basic work competencies necessary for most entry-level jobs. Results indicated that those higher on avoid performance goal orientation put forth less effort in voluntary practice activities took longer to complete the training program and learned less than those lower on avoid performance goal orientation. Additionally, prove performance goal orientation interacted with learning goal orientation to predict the amount of time spent practicing and learning. Theoretical and practical implications for training needs analysis, development, and assessment will be discussed.

Abstract:

Low-income racial and ethnic minority high school students encounter barriers which prevent them from attaining post-secondary education. The barriers include insufficient parental and school support, lack of motivation and self-confidence, socioeconomic status, lack of social capital in high schools and colleges, and inadequate or insufficient resources. Previous research identified college readiness programs as a way to promote academic success and college attainment for low-income racial and ethnic minority high school students. The purpose of this thesis project was to write a grant proposal to secure funding for a college readiness program for low-income racial and ethnic minority students enrolled in Hawthorne high schools in Hawthorne, California. The purpose of the proposed program is to strengthen students' academic and personal skills and provided resources that enabled students to complete high school and move onto post-secondary education. Research on existing college readiness programs was used for the development of this proposed program. The submission and funding of this grant project was not required for the successful completion of this project.

Abstract:
The purpose of this quantitative study was to ascertain the extent to which the level of postsecondary readiness among youth residing in Independent Living Programs is influenced by the level of one or more of the following; graduation preparedness, independent living skills, sustainable independent living skills, and knowledge of their foster care rights. Approximately 15% of the 437,465 youth residing in foster care during FY 2016–2017 reached the age of emancipation. A quantitative research design was used in this descriptive study to examine the relationship between postsecondary readiness among youth residing in Independent Living Programs and their level of (a) graduation preparedness, (b) independent living readiness, (c) sustainable independent living skills, and (d) knowledge of their foster care rights. Participants placed in Georgia Independent Living Programs and preparing to exit the foster care system or emancipated from foster care were selected for this study using the purposive sampling method. Each of the 69 participants completed the Postsecondary and Education Readiness Survey. The instrument was pilot tested with 10 participants and determined to be valid and reliable. The data for the study were analyzed using the following statistical tests: descriptive statistics, frequency distribution, standard deviation, cross tabulation, and Spearman Rho. Participants represented a diverse group, including male, female, between the ages of 16 to 20 years old, black/African American, white, Hispanic/Latino/Spanish, other ethnic background, and between 1 and 18 years in foster care. The following results related to the four research questions/hypotheses: (a) there was a significant (moderately positive) relationship between the postsecondary readiness and graduation preparedness variables; (b) there was a significant (weak positive) relationship between the postsecondary readiness and independent living skills variables; (c) there was a significant (weak positive) relationship between the postsecondary readiness and sustainable independent living skills; and (d) there was a significant (weak positive) relationship between the postsecondary readiness and foster care rights variables. The following recommendations were inspired by the results of this study: increase funding for the Educational Training Voucher (ETV) program, provide additional independent living training for foster care youth and caregivers, and partner with other agencies serving young adults.

Scholars argue within a human capital perspective that generic employability skills such as critical thinking, computer literacy, independent thinking, problem solving, communication skills must be included in human capital development. Employers are demanding that education and training institutions enable students to develop generic employability skills so that they can be 'work ready' for employment in the 'new knowledge economy'. As a consequence, the implementation of generic employability skills programmes can be found in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges worldwide. Framed within a human capital perspective, this research paper focuses on an investigation into the extent to which the National Certificate (Vocational) Life Skills course, offered at a TVET college in the Western Cape, enables students to develop the required generic employability skills of communication, problem solving, teamwork, leadership and critical thinking. Findings reveal that the NCV Life Skills course was both successful and unsuccessful in enabling participants to develop generic skills which make them 'ready for work'.

To face the gradually increased disability population, the government provides programs to improve the employment by turning the unemployed disability into proper and capable manpower. This study is trying to understand the benefits of “Work Readiness Program” to help & support the stable employment for pre-employment disability which enables to provide a revised pre-prepared group of curriculum planning in the future. This research is support by in-depth interviews with invited intellectual disabilities, supportive employment staffs and employers, a total of 14 respondents to participate the in-depth interviews to support this research. The results show that: 1. Intellectual disabilities can work stably after pre-prepared training. By the trans-theoretical model of behavior change, this research found the behavior of trainees were developed by intent preliminary intention to sustain period, and in the process of change, there are likely to occur repeatedly stalled phenomenon, and even returned to the previous stage. 2. In the interview, both intellectual disability employees and employers believed that safety education for workplace and money management courses do not help for employment. However, intellectual disability employees and employers considered that the contents of labor laws, successful experience sharing, gender equity education, extended learning hours of the internship programs will be able to enhance the employment with intellectual disabilities. For research, this study proposes the following suggestions: 1. Set up an evaluation of the pre-prepared training program. 2. Course unit designed to meet the employment needs of persons with disabilities, teaching hours, teaching standards, qualifications and the number of courses students specification, etc. 3. The central budget for long-term handling of the required courses specific topic of disabled persons.

Jones, Asheley. "What role do professional year programs play in developing work-readiness attributes for Australian-educated international postgraduate students?" Thesis, 2018. https://vuir.vu.edu.au/37854/.

Full text
Abstract:
In 2008, following Commonwealth legislation creating the 485 Graduate Visa for migration purposes, the professional accrediting bodies in Accounting, IT and Engineering were mandated to develop Professional Year Programs (PYPs) intended to alleviate the gap between discipline specific qualifications and the skills required to meet employer demands. This research conducted a critical examination of one such program: SMIPA, the Skilled Migration Program for Accounting. This was a work readiness program for international accounting graduates who studied for their accounting degrees onshore within the Australian higher education ecosystem. The primary research question framing this research: Can SMIPA be regarded as a work-readiness program upon which to model future graduate training programs? Underpinned by Bourdieu’s institutionalised capital framework, a tripartite qualitative evaluation is undertaken through multiple lenses: 337 SMIPA graduate survey responses, semi-structured interviews with six SMIPA licenced partners and a sixty-minute interview with an early Joint Accounting Body initiator. The aim of the research is to determine the role SMIPA plays in providing graduates an opportunity to improve their generic skills, so as to find work within the Australian accounting environments. The intent is to analyse whether this program offers a blue print to model the implementation of future work readiness programs. Five recommendations for the future directions of the internship component of the SMIPA program are provided, along with recommendations for future research opportunities. It is concluded that with some significant modifications to defined measurements of the program’s intended learning outcomes, a transparent process for assessing the procurement and delivery of the internship component, as well as a far more rigorous quality assurance of the operations component that would curtail the more extreme migration and educational agent practices, SMIPA could be considered a suitable model to inform a national work integrated learning program providing a blueprint to better prepare both domestic and international tertiary educated graduates for entry into the 21st century global workforce.

Abstract:
AbstractNew employment demands of a burgeoning Indian software service industry are spawning neo-educational structures, especially in the domain of data sciences through vibrant market mechanisms offering a scalable and industry-focused learning system. Since the 1990s, Indian software firms have developed expertise in carrying out outsourced back-office tasks and mid-level IT services like data entry, managing call centres, and performing software quality testing for foreign companies taking advantage of a technically trained local workforce. The trend of automating manual work practices in the IT industry has generated a different kind of demand for data sciences directed at upskilling and job readiness. India is witnessing a market-oriented groundswell of data science and IT skill tutoring ‘shops’, resituating science and engineering education. In this chapter we report from ethnographic research conducted in two IT skill training parks to underpin arguments about emerging neo-educational learning structures suited to a data science education for new livelihood opportunities in an IT-accredited India. Our chapter makes a case for looking at ‘data studies’ from an ethnographic perspective uncovering a ‘program’ of upward mobility through IT skilling and employment. What directions might data studies about tutoring data science skills in the Indian context lead to? Excerpts presented here from field research imagine new livelihoods, aspirations, and technology skills that are more often than not a reflection of the power of data science education.

Abstract:
Designing culturally and linguistically relevant and sustaining programs is needed at all levels. Specifically including this approach in teacher education programs is a crucial goal, as what is learned turns into a multiplicative process through new teachers' implementation of this approach in their future classes. This chapter introduces the conceptualization and work of the Teacher Education Collaborative in Language Diversity and Arts Integration (TECLA) program designed to support the development of Elementary Education Teacher Candidates' readiness to teach and work with culturally and linguistically diverse learners through Arts-Integration. This chapter describes five focus areas of the program model in relation to a main event in the program, the Oral History Classroom Museums and we discuss how this process contributed the Teacher Candidates' Identity as Teachers as well as to nurture their pedagogical practices. Examples of each area and affordances and challenges faced in this program are discussed.

Numerous teacher educators are revising their programs by focusing on high-leverage practices (HLPs). Concurrently, edTPA has been adopted by a number of states as a way to assess teacher candidates' readiness to teach. There is considerable conceptual congruence in these reform strategies. Both are practice-based, focusing on the authentic work of teaching. Nonetheless, the origins of these strategies, language, and materials are not seamless. HLPs, and ways of teaching them, are generated by local teacher educators themselves; edTPA was developed on a national scale with one purpose being to provide a common assessment of readiness to teach. This chapter illustrates the collective efforts of one teacher education program to productively handle the challenges that emerge in this dual reform climate while simultaneously meeting accreditation association requirements, including a conceptual framework for educator preparation programs. A model is subsequently presented for meaningful integration of edTPA, HLPs, and institutional conceptual frameworks.

Abstract:
The purpose of this chapter is to describe a series of community-based family literacy sessions and the responsive strategies used to modify the sessions for remote instruction to meet the needs of caregivers of young children (birth to age 3). Situated within a two-generation approach to family engagement, the sessions were implemented through a family-school-community partnership with a university-based early learning research center, early learning centers in two urban Title I schools, and a public library. Session attendees included a sample of 44 racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse families. In addition to describing the family literacy program, the chapter highlights the ways in which family literacy sessions can positively influence the home literacy environment of families who participate in sessions regularly. The chapter concludes with recommendations for facilitators aiming to work collaboratively with community partners and families to develop mutually beneficial family literacy initiatives.

Abstract:
This paper reports on a qualitative pilot study which explores the attitudes and aspirations of international students in the Master of Information Systems (MIS) program at an Australian university. The findings are preliminary but suggest that the MIS program is an extrinsic motivator since it is used by students as a catalyst to change their future careers and lives. Furthermore, the students are appreciative of the MIS program’s flexibility and the life-long learning initiative it encourages, as opposed to the more structured curricula in their countries of origin. While the findings indicate that the students approve overall the technical and business mix of courses in the MIS program, nevertheless, they are critical of the perceived lack of industry contact which would expose them to Australian social values and organisational cultures, thus preparing the students further for the workforce. This study makes a contribution as the basis of future research investigating the alignment between the academic preparation of MIS graduates and the industry expectations of technology intensive organisations.

Abstract:
Three different oxide/oxide ceramic matrix composite (CMC) materials are described. Design concepts for the attachment of the CMC component to the metal structure of the gas turbine are developed in a first work stream focused on the combustion chamber and the turbine seal segment. Issues like environmental barrier coating (EBC)/thermal barrier coatings (TBC), application and volatilization, allowance for the different thermal expansion and the mechanical fixation are addressed. The design work is accompanied by CFD and FEM simulations. A variation of the microstructural design of the three oxide/oxide CMC materials in terms of different fiber architecture and processing of matrix are considered. Also, mechanical properties of these variations are evaluated. The material concepts are developed further in a second work stream. The CMCs are tested in various loading modes (tension, compression, shear, off-axis loading) from room temperature to maximum application temperature focusing on tensile creep behavior. By modification of the matrix and the fiber-matrix interface as well as EBC coatings, the high temperature stability and the insulation performance are enhanced. An outline of the “High Performance Oxide Ceramic”-program HiPOC for the following years is given, including manufacturing of a high-pressure tubular combustor and turbine seal segments from the improved materials as technology samples, for which validation testing up to technology readiness level 4 is scheduled for 2011.

Full text
Abstract:
The Transient Reactor Test (TREAT) Facility, located at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is a versatile test facility able to subject experimental specimens to various transient nuclear conditions. TREAT was placed in standby after operating from February 1959 through April 1994, resulting in the loss of nearly all transient testing capability in the United States. Recently, the US Department of Energy (DOE) determined this capability was again needed. After DOE completed National Environmental Policy Act actions in February 2014, INL established the Resumption of Transient Testing Program (RTTP). RTTP was a multi-year effort to restart TREAT to reestablish a domestic transient testing capability. After 23 years of standby operations, the RTTP completed restart activities on August 31, 2017, 13 months ahead of schedule and nearly $20 million under budget. RTTP activities included an Environmental Assessment that resulted in a Finding of “No Significant Impact” associated with restarting TREAT, establishment of a compliant Safety Analysis Report (SAR), refurbishment and/or replacement of key reactor systems and components, key system knowledge recovery, reestablishment of configuration management, procedure updates, personnel training and qualification, and demonstration of operational readiness for reactor operations. Several noteworthy factors that contributed to the restart of TREAT include: • Funding to acquire personnel and material resources provided in a timely fashion. • Close coordination with the regulator’s (DOE) nuclear safety program during updates, interactive review, and approval of safety documentation provided for timely update of the TREAT SAR and implementing documents. • Effective management control enabled by utilization of standard outage management techniques with a focus on age-related degradation and updated standards and requirements. • DOE program management ensured efficient implementation of program management tools. These tools focused on clear high-level milestones and spend plans allowing flexibility for the contractor to respond to evolving facility conditions and information in a near-real time manner and with minimal program overhead. This approach enabled efficient execution of work in an environment where determination of required work scope was dependent on performance of inspection, testing, analysis, and evaluation activities. • Implementation of the Contractor Assurance System, with frequent internal and externally-led assessments that facilitated process improvements and corrective actions to ensure the operational readiness for required contractor and DOE readiness assessments and safe nuclear operations. • The RTTP benefited from archived plant documentation and maintenance performed while the plant was in a safe-standby status. • Unique methods of reactivity control allowed for individual and integrated reactor system functional testing, procedure vetting, and personnel training while maintaining the reactor in a safe state.

Abstract:
In the framework of the High Performance Oxide Ceramics program (HiPOC), three different oxide/oxide ceramic matrix composite (CMC) materials are studied for a combustion chamber application in continuation of the work reported in Gerendas et al. [1]. A variation in the micro-structural design of the three CMC materials in terms of different fiber architecture and matrix processing are considered in a first work stream. By modification of the matrix and the fiber-matrix interface as well as the application of an environmental barrier coating (EBC), the high temperature stability is enhanced. Furthermore, design concepts for the attachment of the CMC component to the metal structure of the engine are finalized in a second work stream. Issues like sealing of cooling leakage paths, allowance for the different thermal expansion and the mechanical fixation are addressed. An interim standard of the mechanical attachment scheme is studied on a shaker table. Also the friction coefficient between the metallic and ceramic components is analyzed in order to set the proper tightening torque. The manufacturing of the CMC combustor is improved in several iterations in order to achieve a high quality material with optimized fiber architecture. Afterwards, two CMC materials are selected for the combustion testing and the finalized design of the metallic and CMC components is manufactured. A fit check is performed prior to EBC application and laser drilling of the effusion holes in order to evaluate the impact of the manufacturing tolerances on the function of the sealing and attachment scheme and to correct small issues at this stage. First results from the validation testing in a high-pressure tubular combustion rig up to a Technology Readiness Level 4 (TRL4) are reported.

Abstract:
MSR (Molten salt reactor) is a reactor with the fission material dissolved in the fluoride salt as the fuel, which continuously circulates through the primary loop. The liquid fuel makes the online refueling and reprocessing be possible, consequently, more fuel cycle options would be presented due to the introduction of various refueling fuel type and reprocessing mode (continuous / batch reprocessing) comparing with that of the solid fuel reactor systems. It is important to evaluate all the possible fuel cycle options and screen out the promising ones to narrow the R&D activities of TMSR (Thorium-based Molten-Salt Reactor nuclear energy system) program. In this study, we firstly established a screening and decision-making framework, then conducted an initial evaluation work and identified the potential promising fuel cycle options. Synthesizing the goal of TMSR program and technology readiness, we proposed a “Three-steps” fuel cycle development strategy with the aim for gradually increasing the thorium resource utilization while considering the challenges of the reprocessing technology.

Abstract:
As the global community works toward the Sustainable Development Goals, closer integration between governance and sectoral interventions offers a promising, yet unproven avenue for improving health service delivery. We interrogate what value an integrated governance approach, intentionally combining governance and sectoral investments in strategic collaboration, adds to health service readiness and delivery using data from a study in Senegal. Our quasi-experimental research design compared treatment and control communes to determine the value added of an integrated governance approach in Senegal compared to health interventions alone. Our analysis shows that integrated governance is associated with improvements in some health service delivery dimensions, specifically, in aspects of health facility access and quality. These findings—that health facilities are more open, with higher quality infrastructure and staff more frequently following correct procedures after integrated governance treatment—suggests a higher level of service readiness. We suggest that capacity building of governance structures and an emphasis on social accountability could explain the added value of integrating governance and health programming. These elements may help overcome a critical bottleneck between citizens and local government often seen with narrower sector or governance-only approaches. We discuss implications for health services in Senegal, international development program design, and further research.

Abstract:
Schools routinely face federal and state mandated changes, like the Common Core State Standards or standardized testing requirements. Sometimes districts and schools want to take on new policies and practices of their own, like anti-bullying programs or using technology to deliver instruction. Regardless of the origin of the change, implementation requires them to take on additional work; yet experts estimate that only 30 to 50 percent of major change efforts in organizations will succeed. Failing change efforts result in not only financial losses but also lowered organizational morale, wasted resources, and lost opportunities. For schools where resources are already stretched thin, the consequences of failed change initiatives can be particularly devastating. In this paper, we discuss results of a study, over a school year, of school principals who were working on implementing a new change initiative in their schools. We apply lessons from the change management literature and focus on the importance of assessing readiness for change as a key step in ensuring the success of new initiatives. We share examples of a change readiness rubric to help schools and districts successfully lead change.

Abstract:
The Army’s modernization priorities include the development of augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) simulations for enabling the regiment and increasing soldier readiness. The use of AR/VR technology at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is also growing in the realm of military and civil works program missions. The ERDC Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory (CHL) has developed a ship simulator to evaluate bay channels across the world; however, the current simulator has little to no physical realism in nearshore coastal regions (Figure 1). Thus, the ERDC team is researching opportunities to advance ship simulation to deliver the Ship Simulator of the Future (SSoF). The SSoF will be equipped with a VR mode and will more accurately resolve nearshore wave phenomena by ingesting precalculated output from a Boussinesq-type wave model. This initial prototype of the SSoF application is intended for research and development purposes; however, the technologies employed will be applicable to other disciplines and project scopes, including the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) and ship and coastal structure design in future versions.

Abstract:
Training cadets-weightlifters at all stages has a multipurpose orientation, that is why it is important to define and plan a rational combination of the training means use. Distribution of such micro structures in the cycle of training, as the days, months of training, provides effective volume, intensity and other values of physical load distribution. The structure of training cadets-weightlifters is based on taking into account the regularities and principles of sports training as the condition for physical readiness and working capacity increase. Any power oriented sports demands components characteristics in the structure of micro cycles. We consider the methodology of the training lessons organization by the example of the micro cycle of training taking into account bioenergetic profile of cadets-weightlifters. We revealed the necessity to distribute the macro cycle to structural components as the condition for the effectiveness of different variants of the training effects distribution. Materials and methods. We analyzed the range of training lessons among cadets-weightlifters in order to create the variants of gradual training problems solution according to the kinds of training. We analyzed training programs of cadets taking into consideration the level of readiness and their bioenergetic profiles. We created the content of the training work in the micro cycle of the preparatory period for cadets-weightlifters with different bioenergetic profiles. The main material of the research includes the ratio of the training effects volume in one micro cycle taking into account cadets’ bioenergetic profile. Cadets-weightlifters from Tyumen Higher Military-Engineering Command College (military Institute) took part in the research (Tyumen, Russia). Results. We created the content of the training work by the example of one micro cycle for cadets-weightlifters taking into account bioenergetic profile. The created variant of the training loads structure includes the main means of training taking into account the kind of training. Realization orientation in five regimens of work fulfillment with the effectiveness estimation of a total load within one lesson and a week in general is estimated according to a point system. Conclusion. The created variant of a micro cycle considers kinds of training realization taking into account the percentage of the ratio. Taking into account bioenergetic profiles helps to discuss strong and weak sides of muscle activity energy supply mechanisms. We consider the ability to fulfill a long-term aerobic load among the representatives of the 1st and the 2nd bioenergetic profiles. The representatives of the 3rd and the 4th biotype are inclined to fulfill the mixed load. The representatives of the 5th biotype are characterized by higher degree of anaerobic abilities demonstration. The technology of planning the means taking into account the regimens of work realization with point system helps to increase physical working capacity and rehabilitation processes in cadets’ organisms.
