Allied health (AH) managers need to be able to quantify workloads to effectively manage the increasing demands on the health system. Workload allocation models provide a means of monitoring, evaluating and determining manageable workloads. This allows managers to ensure equitable distribution of duties and maximise the existing AH workforce output, which will lead to more efficient health service delivery and better patient outcomes. The purpose of this study was to develop and trial an AH workload allocation model incorporating the National Allied Health Casemix Committee Health Activity Clas

Abstract This paper focuses on the VM allocation policies for load balancing in cloud computing environment. Intermittent nature of balancing the load scheme into the cloud computing becomes a challenging job and it also affects the load balancing of the cloud. The suggested proposed model generates and step-up the VM allocation policies but also transforms the generated cloud workload. Furthermore, to improve the workload distribution of workload and stability of the overall cloud computing environment the load balancing algorithm is most important for load balancing. Modern cloud services aim to find the middle ground between quality of service and operational cost efficiency by allocating resources if and only if these resources are needed by the customers. Unfortunately, most industrial demand-driven resource allocation approaches are reactive. Given that scaling mechanisms are not instantaneous, the reactive policy may introduce delays to latency-sensitive customer workloads and waste operational costs for cloud service providers. To solve this catch-22, we define the proactive resource allocation policy for Microsoft Azure Cognitive Search. In addition

Unlike conventional CPU caches, non-datapath caches, such as host-side flash caches which are extensively used as storage caches, have distinct requirements. While every cache miss results in a cache update in a conventional cache, non-datapath caches allow for the flexibility of selective caching, i.e., the option of not having to update the cache on each miss. We propose a new, generalized, bimodal caching algorithm, Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), for managing non-datapath caches. Being generalized has the benefit of allowing any datapath cache replacement policy, such as LRU, ARC, or LIRS, to
