Abstract:
Wudhu (ablution) ritual is an activity of cleaning physical parts for Muslims to perform their prayer five times per day. During this wudhu ritual process, the water is allowed to run free and drain away. At-times, this has caused some concerns particualrly on water wastage. Many organizations in Malaysia such as AACE Technologies Sdn. Bhd. came out with a solution and steps as “Auto Wudu Washer” in order to overcome this wastage, but the result was not satisfying enough. This study introduces a wudhu system that can reduce the amount of water usage during wudhu ritual consistently by limiting around 1 litre per consumer. Generally, there were seven (7) parts that have been used in this project such as 1 litre of container, magnet, float, valve push button, washer and cap. These designs did not utilize any electronic devices. Using these parts, 2 experiments were conducted namely the current wudhu system and the upgraded wudhu system by 10 (Muslims) respectively. The result of this project confirmed that using the Upgraded Wudhu System with amount of water limited to 1 litre per consumer was better than the current wudhu system by ten times.

Darul Hikmah Mosque is a building located inside Politeknik Negeri Semarang as a place of worship for all campus residents, and people who live around the area. The prayer activity is preceded by the Wudu. In order for Wudu to be carried out perfectly, sufficient quantities of water are needed. The lack of pressure and discharge of Wudu tap water, when used simultaneously, becomes a constraint that is the water pressure decreases. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors causing the lack of water discharge or pressure as required in SNI 03-7065-2005. The research method is quantitative descriptive by evaluating the performance of the existing water supply system and using a discrepancy model by comparing the evaluation results with existing data to find discrepancies. Evaluation results indicate that the factors that cause the lack of water pressure are the roof tank height is less than ideal for water distribution with gravitational power, and the volume of available water is not sufficient

The Islamic-based school is an educational institution that plays an important role as the defining spiritual intelligence of the student to manage their attitudes and behavior well. In fact, many people consider that Islamic-based school or known as madrasa, is no longer able to preserve and maintain its religious traditions. This is obtained from the finding that the behavior of middle school’s students in public schools is considered better than in Islamic-based schools. There needs to be an increase in religious traditions in Islamic-based schools to prevent delinquency behavior or behavior that violates the value of students, one of which is through guidance and counseling services. Wudu therapy is an alternative guidance and counseling service that will be presented in this paper. This method or approach of this writing uses literature and data collection done by analyzing data sources and relevant information to this writing. Thus, it was found that wudu therapy is a guidance and counseling services that is suitable to be applied to Islamic middle school’s students to prevent delinquency behavior.

Full text
Abstract:
The purpose of this investigation was to determine the effectiveness of using imagery in eliminating post-rest warm-up decrement (WUD) in the volleyball serve, and to assess whether individual differences in imagery ability mediated any possible reductions in WUD. Thirty-nine State level volleyball players were placed into one of 3 groups, High Imagery, Control, and Low Imagery, based on their scores on the Vividness of Movement Imagery Questionnaire (VMIQ). Players served 15 balls at a designated target area, rested for 10 minutes, and then attempted 5 more serves. During the last 2 minutes of the rest period, the players in the High and Low Imagery groups engaged in imagery of successful serving every 10 seconds, for a total of 12 repetitions. The Control group continued to read a magazine article. To ensure adherence to the imagery instructions, players were evaluated at completion of testing. Results revealed the High Imagery group was significantly better on serving performance post-rest, however there was no significant differences when comparing the mean of the last 3 pre-rest trials with the first post-rest trial. The interaction approached significance (p_= .091) and suggested that the High Imagery group may have benefited from the use of imagery. These findings have implications for the Nacson and Schmidt's (1971) activity-set hypothesis that states that an appropriate task will reduce WUD. It may need to include the effect individual differences, such as imagery ability, may have on the performance of that task.

This research was for the pursuit of the learning effect influence to the elementary school students, based on Jewett’s Developmental Model curriculum. Sixty students of Keelung Wudu Elementary school were divided into Experimental Class and Contrasted class, and different volleyball teaching designs were implemented for eight classes. For analyzing the learning effects of different genders and different groups, T-test and ANCOVA were used in the meantime. The results are follows: 1. There was no significant difference in cognitive and affective learning effects between boy students and girl students who accepted Developmental Model volleyball teaching. 2. There was significant difference in skill learning effects between boy students and girl students after accepting Developmental Model volleyball teaching, and the boys’ progress was more than the girls’. 3. After the Experimental Class and the Contrasted class were with different model volleyball teaching, there was no significant difference in cognitive and skill learning effects for the two classes. 4. After the Experimental Class and the Contrasted class were with different model volleyball teaching, there was significant difference in affective effects for the two classes, and the Experimental Class was better than the Contrasted class. From this research, we found developmental model could promote the sport skill learning effects of boy students; and this model was more effective for the promotion of affective learning effects than that of Traditional Model. In the future, we could use Developmental Model to design the physical education curriculum of elementary school.

This research takes Gongguan Wugu Temple located in Gongguan Township, Miaoli as the topic and is for the purpose of studying the attributes for the belief of Emperor Shen Nong whose godship is blessing for grain abundant harvest through the field investigation and the literature discussion. In the initial stage of the agricultural society, the ancients opened up wasteland with privations and in order to pray for the abundant harvest as well as the favorable weather, the belief of Emperor Shen Nong became the spiritual stay of farmers naturally. A temple is where the development and continuity of the Chinese landscape architecture and the folk culture and the place of people’s interaction. It’s connected tightly with the local culture and education, hence, people look for the help from the Gods when physical illness or the mental needs. Even though the change of the economy, the numbers of the temples for grains increased continuously. This shows the universality of the belief of Emperor Shen Nong in Taiwanese society. This dissertation consists of 6 chapters and excepts the first chapter for the introduction and overview as well as the conclusion chapter, 4 sections included: the first section is to recognize the religion and development process in Gongguan Township by studying the natural environment and historical background in Gongguan Township, Miaoli as well as the existing record. And the second section is to retrace the historic development of Gongguan Wugu Temple and understand the forming of organizations in the temple from the introduction of grain’s religion and overview in Taiwan and Miaoli county. The third section is to use the results of the field investigation to conclude the religion of the primary god that the disciples enshrine and worship in the temple, the set up of Ton-Si god and the related worship activities. Final section is to probe into the temple’s architectural structure after reconstruction, art of decoration and cultural relic when went through the change of times to research the attributes of the temple. This study is a literature review, accordingly verified by observation and interview methods, by means of the interviewing officials: Ministry of Culture, Administrative Chief of Luzhu district, owner of the Temple, volunteers and believers all around, in order to understand the development potentiality and feasibility assessment of WUFU Temple on its religious tourism strategies. Declared Grade III monument by Ministry of Interior in Aug. 19th 1985, later under control of municipality, WUFU Temple has been visited more frequently not just because the “Gods of Wealth” but also of some reasons, and a historic context behind it. One said that after the invasion over Taiwan, Koxinga has brought Xuantan Marshal, a God of Wealth in Taoism and his stream of pilgrims to the Temple at that time. Due to its accurate efficaciousness, the Temple has become the center of local people’s faith, ever since Zheng’s regime (Qing Dynasty in China at the time), there has formed a worship circle among five major villages in three major townships in Luzhu district. Inward movement of outsiders, continuous promotions and publicities has attracted more participants to those publicly well-known festivals held by the Temple during the year, such as “Incense Race” on the first day of lunar calendar, “Xuantan Marshal’s birthday” on March 15th and 16th, as well as “Lantern Release” and “Zhongyuan Pudu”, also known as “Hungry Ghost Festival”, etc. In recent years, repeatedly amended “Cultural Heritage Preservation Policy”, has been vigorously promoted by the Government aimed to propagate the importance of historic values, preservation, and re-utilization. Until today, the 350 years old Temple since establishment has deeply impressed believers by its own treasures: “Stone Incense Burner” and “Sacred Serpents Hole”. From promoting sightseeing trades to religious tourism, the Government has been dedicated to offer general public better leisure and recreation venues on weekends. By means of marketing strategies: fame of the Gods, festival activities, collaborations with other temples in the area, the Temple has attracted other believers to visit here, giving impetus to peripheral economic growth and humanistic qualities. Furthermore, it is hoped that WUFU Temple could actively engage non-profit public activities. On the other hand, it would arouse faithful people’s inner essences: goodness and contribution under its cultural influence, and aggregate manpower, financial strengths, and resources from civil groups. For example: attract young generation coming back to join the region development in cultural industry, taking up the baton to pass on.

“Cluster-effective” has been recognized as one of the most efficient mode of driving industry development by global economist. Wugu Industrial Park has been linked with the furniture industry since 1984. Up to now, there are total of 349 furniture manufacturer cluster in Wugu. What kind of power make Wugu shape into a unique cluster phenomenon? In order to find the answer to above questions, the study is conducted from the viewpoint of geographical environment, density dependence, resource partitioning and niche width. This study, on one hand, collected a wealth of secondary data; on the other hand, supplemented by field study and in-depth interview to proceed. The results of this study: (1) for geographical environment, traffic location near the highway, surrounded by mountains, Wugu Interchange fanned into the mountains, quite suitable for the interdependence of the satellite system of the furniture industry between upstream and downstream supply chain, It effectively reduce the transaction costs; (2) for density dependence, the maximum load capacity of resource constraints, Wugu in general to maintain nearly 350 furniture manufacturers to survive, there is the formation of a clear-cut furniture industry clusters; (3) for centrality and concentration of resource Partitioning, the location of the top six manufacturers of Wugu furniture manufacturers within a distance of 100 meters for each other, there is the influence of vertical and horizontal; (4) for niche width, Wugu furniture manufacturers will take a relatively wide niche strategy to diversify risk for survival by increasing competition and cooperation. There are abounding theoretical and practical implications from above 4 propositions for the furniture industry manufacturers in Wugu.

The damselfly, Mortonagrion hirosei, is near threatened by IUCN 2001. The insect is extremely narrow range of activities, only lives in reed community of brackish water wetland in Wugu Wetlands, New Taipei City of Taiwan. By this study investigated mainly by five environmental factors affected , respectively, water salinity, dissolved oxygen, water depth, soil organic matter and reeds. The damselfly lives under high concentration of saline water and soil habitat. The salinity of water to an average of 8.80‰. High salinity water lead to plant to become single, and then biological diversity become low. The M. hirosei in this habitat will not competition with other species. Reed is generally growth below 50 cm depth. In this study, M. hirosei habitat depth neither more than 30cm deep, and are suitable for reed growth here. However, if the reed growth too dense, the DO will become low. In this study, 0~3mg/L DO. Most of the biological can not survive on DO less than 3mg/L of water, so few natural enemies in this habitat. Furthermore, soil organic matter need to be high, because it can known that plant grow in the habitat. M. hirosei habitat have more dry reed, and the corruption of the reed allows the soil organic matter increased, so that many plankton in this habitat, thereby increasing the predation of the object. Soil organic matter average of 7.53%. In addition, the study found that the different habitat but have similar conditions of the environmental factors, but did not found the M. hirosei. Inference for the difference by the soil organic matter. Plant growth situation reflected in the soil organic matter. In plant, the dominant species on this habitat is reed. Reed help M. hirosei to survive in the habitat with high degree of privacy, that can avoided other flying of biological prey. This study aims to investigate the M. hirosei in the environment of the adult stage, which found that male and female habitat selection is somewhat different. The survey found that the main factor for DO and water depth differences. Male than female in the habitat have high dispersion. Therefore, male require more DO in the habitat to facilitate the distribution of the different places in the habitat. By this study, the obvious M. hirosei to select very specific habitat.

Full text
Abstract:
In view of the large amount of tunnel slag in mountainous areas and the difficulty of selecting sites for slag sites, an experimental study on the use of tunnel slag as substrate filler for artificial wetlands was conducted on the section of G8513 Pingliang-Mianyang National Highway from Wudu to Jiuzhaigou (Gan-Chuan border). Based on the support effect of tunnel slag on artificial wetland plants and the provision of surface for microorganisms to grow, the tunnel slag was modified to further reduce the concentration of total phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen in water bodies through adsorption. This study makes full use of the value of slag as a resource, eliminates the negative environmental impact of traditional slag treatment, and also alleviates the eutrophication problem caused by excessive nitrogen and phosphorus in the water body at the same time.

Full text
Abstract:
In view of the situation that the bridge deck drainage cannot be diverted to both ends for centralized collection due to the longitudinal slope change of the bridge, or there is no accident pool space at both ends of the bridge, this paper relies on the section of G8513 Pingliang to Mianyang National Highway Wudu to Jiuzhaigou (Ganchuan boundary). An intelligent drainage system consisting of prefabricated linear drainage ditch, electrically controlled drainage valve and intelligent operation is proposed. The system, based on 5G technology, has the functions of identifying dangerous chemical transport vehicles, predicting dangerous chemical leakage, and automatically opening and closing the drainage system, which can effectively avoid dangerous. The system based on 5G technology, has the functions of identifying dangerous chemical transport vehicles, predicting dangerous chemical leakage, and automatically opening and closing the drainage system, which can effectively avoid dangerous chemicals directly entering the water under the bridge, protect water quality and reduce environmental risks.

Abstract:
In order to implement the concept of green highway and advocate the construction ideas of ecological harmony, resource conservation, service improvement and sustainable development, in the design process of Wujiu expressway, through the investigation and analysis of natural plants in the project area, the plant species in the project area are sorted out, and the shortcomings of the application of existing highway plant resources in the sustainable development of the project area are analyzed. According to the characteristics of Wujiu expressway, the utilization principle of plant materials for the project is determined. In order to meet the needs of slope ecological protection and sustainable development of greening landscape, the selection of plant resources is explored and studied. Starting from the principles of ecological adaptability, species diversity, ornamental value, and economic applicability, a vegetation survey was carried out. By comparing the three-plant slope protection combination schemes, scheme 1 was selected, namely: perennial rye 30% + bermudagrass 10% +Alfalfa 10%+Huzhizi 30%+Amorpha 20% is the best combination of slope protection plants. In addition, olive fruit, as a local economic crop in Wudu, can also be used as road service area, intercommunication area, and waste slag field. High-quality green plant species.
