Abstract:

Ce travail porte son intérêt sur différents groupes socio-professionnels de la ville de Wurtzbourg entre 1795 et 1815: les professeurs, le personnel d’Etat, les artistes, les artisans et enfin les voyageurs. L’analyse se base sur le concept du monde de vie, Lebenswelt, d’Alfred Schütz. De la phénoménologie d’Alfred Schütz s’inspire également la partie principale de ce travail: l’évaluation de la pertinence des éléments historiques. En effet, durant l’ensemble de la période concernée, aucun événement particulier, comme par exemple la dissolution de l’Etat ecclésiastique ou la guerre, ne constitue de césure dans les mondes de vie des wurtzbourgeois. Au contraire, un pluralisme des césures s’impose. Un événement peut être considéré comme tel par les gens que s’ils ressentent une conséquences dans leur monde de vie. De fait, aucune date n’a pu être reconnue comme une césure commune à toutes les couches de la population. Ce qui se distingue fondamentalement de l’époque napoléonienne des décennies précédentes qui eut des répercussions dans toutes les branches d’activités et dans tous les milieux durant un laps de temps très court. Par ailleurs, les stratégies des divers corps de métiers pour supporter les bouleversements de l’époque tout en évitant les atteintes à leurs monde de vie se ressemblent. Les acteurs de tous les groupes essayent de minimiser les risques de transformation de leur monde de vie en privilégiant un fort attachement au pouvoir en place. Ainsi l’époque de 1795 à 1815 à Wurtzbourg apparaît alors être un moment d’allégence intensive<br>This paper examines the relevance of different professions from 1795 until 1815 in the city of Würzburg. The professions include academics (professors), public servants, artists, artisans and travellers. The concept of “Lebenswelt” by Alfred Schütz forms the basis of the analysis. The main category of this paper, relevance, is also taken from the phenomenology of Alfred Schütz. In general, many different events marked a break in the lives of the people of Würzburg rather than one specific event such as the closure of the bishopric or the outbreak of the war. A pluralism of turning points prevailed. The population perceived an event as a turning point when it had an impact on their life environment. No single date within the period investigated exists, which marked a turning point for all social strata in Würzburg. The difference between the Napoleonic era and the preceding decades was the fact that every profession and milieu experienced turning points within a short period of time. Similarities exist, however, regarding each profession’s strategy to survive the transition period without too much interruption to their lives. The actors, no matter which group they belonged to, ttempted to limit the risks of change to their environment by building close ties to the respective ruler at the time. Thus, the period from 1795 and 1815 is also a period of intensive relationships with the sovereignty

Abstract:

This masters thesis aims at obtaining a better understanding of the character depiction in two Middle High German texts through a precise analysis of the characters and their actions as reported by the author Konrad von Wurzburg. For this study the novellas Heinrich von Kempten and Herzmaere were chosen, because they present characters within two areas of central literary concern to the Middle Ages: Heinrich von Kempten in the area of knighthood and Herzmaere in the area of courtly love.<br>The study consists of two main parts. The first, which deals with the novella Heinrich von Kempten lists the developments in research from 1970 until the present, describes all characters according to their depiction and actions and concludes with a summary of the results. The second main part of the thesis examines the novella Herzmaere following the same criteria of analysis as Heinrich von Kempten.

Nova Cella de Grünau, Cella Salutis de Tückelhausen, Hortus Angelorum de Wurtzbourg, Cella Beatae Mariae de Nuremberg, Pontis Mariae d'Astheim et enfin Hortus Mariae d'Ilmbach sont les six chartreuses fondées en Franconie, région morcelée en multiples seigneuries et centres urbains. La Franconie est-elle une réalité pour l’ordre des Chartreux des XIVe et XVe siècles ? Ce sont d’abord l’historiographie de l’ordre des chartreux ainsi que celle de la Franconie qui doivent être confrontées dans le but d’identifier cet objet de recherche finalement assez peu évident. Plusieurs mécanismes institutionnels cartusiens sont ensuite décortiqués afin de mettre en perspective le fonctionnement de l’ordre sur un territoire clairement défini. Enfin l’étude de l’appropriation de l’observance par les Franconiens expose les modalités de l’insertion des chartreuses dans leur environnement immédiat<br>The purpose of this work is to analyse in which way the six charterhouses of Franconia could be regarded as a coherent ensemble, and if it is possible to recognize a franconian identity of the Carthusian monks. The territory of the Land zu Franken is contested since the contemporaries tend to define the territory according to their private interests. The order of the Carthusian monks settles tardily in Franconia. They propose a renewal of the contemplative orders which were so far incarnated by the Benedictines and Cistercians whose expansion finishes at the end of 13th century. A study of the institutional mechanisms of the order, accompanied by a prosopography of the officers of the area shows that the monks of Franconia fit within the border framework of the province of lower Germany. The officers, by their displacements limited within the area of the province, build the network between the communities and thereby provide a structure of lower Germany. The process of foundation shows that the order of the Carthusians is used by the founders with an aim of representation of their might which explains why the houses are joined together in the valley of the Main, where the lordships stand in a fierce competition. The funerary liturgy of the Carthusians also explains the choices of the founders for this observance, since some monasteries become places of burials. Finally, the relations of the franconian Carthusians with the world are considered by their literary activities, as well as by their engagement in the beginning of the Reformation<br>Unter der Bezeichnung fränkische Kartausen versteht man eine Gruppe von sechs Klöstern, die zwischen 1328 und 1453 gestiftet wurden: Nova Cella in Grünau (1328), Cella Salutis in Tückelhausen (1348), Hortus Angelorum in Würzburg (1350), Cella Beatae Mariae in Nürnberg (1380), Pontis Mariae in Astheim (1409) und Hortus Mariae in Ilmbach (1453). Diese Bezeichnung wird vor allem durch die heutige Vorstellung des fränkischen Raumes geprägt: Bilden die Kartäuser von Franken im Mittelalter tatsächlich eine einheitliche zu untersuchende Gruppe? Lässt sich von einem Gruppenbewusstsein der fränkischen Kartäuser sprechen, wenngleich die Verwendung des Begriffs Identität im Mittelalter Schwierigkeiten mit sich bringt? Ist es möglich, dass die fränkischen Kartausen vom Orden selbst als solche verstanden wurden oder handelt es sich um eine, dem kartäusischen System fremde Konstruktion?

Within the scope of technolog y transfer, tools and methods that were originally developed for aerospace applications are now to be made available for precision agriculture. In particular, the field of precision beekeeping was selected for this purpose. An IT infrastructure to support the honeybees and the work of beekeeping is to be developed. The aim is to ensure that the electronics remain unobtrusive and that the beehive does not beco - me a switch cabinet. This results in an experimental test setup that can be used in the field of teaching Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems. In this way, hardware and software components are created in the project and used directly in teaching.

Abstract:

Currently, the qualitative spectrum of methods in the philological sciences is being substantially expanded, with far-reaching implications, through the integration of the empirical, quantitative, and evaluative possibilities of the Digital Humanities. The example of the planning and establishment of „Kallimachos,“ the Center for Philology and Digitality (ZPD) at the University of Würzburg, demonstrates how a research center in the field of interplay between the humanities and cultural studies, digital humanities, and computer science can bring about a surge of change by providing in-depth insights into each other‘s subjects and ways of thinking. It not only brings with it a new view of the epistemological interests of philology, its questions, its canon, and its key concepts, but also makes computer science aware of the ‚recalcitrance‘ of humanities subjects and thus confronts it with new tasks. The ZPD is the result of a systematic reflection on the digital transformation of philology, with its traditional focus on editing and analyzing, in order to advance this development both in terms of content and methodology. For example, the formation of linguistic conventions in speaking and writing about music in 19th-century composers‘ texts and in music journals would be an ideal subject for the application of digital methods of analysis and the development of new research questions based on them. Research networks that jointly develop and rethink methods on the level of data structures across disciplines are likely to be a proven means of preserving our own discipline in the future, even if this may occasionally be a relationship borne more by reason than by love.

Abstract:

Die Lisberger Burg im Landkreis Bamberg ist eine der ältesten Burganlagen Oberfrankens, die alle kriegerischen Konflikte im Lauf der Jahrhunderte unzerstört überstanden hat. Unzureichende Erhaltungsmaßnahmen und Pflege setzten dem Baudenkmal besonders ab der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts dermaßen zu, dass durch die nahezu 100jährige Nutzung des Anwesens als Wirtschaftshof ab Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts der Verfall nur bedingt aufgehalten werden konnte. Hans Fischer erstand 1968 die Hauptburg in einem desolaten Zustand und sanierte sie, finanziell unterstützt durch den Bayerischen Entschädigungsfond, mit großer Umsicht. Zudem ermöglichte er durch die von ihm und seiner Familie organisierten Veranstaltungen und zahllosen Führungen den öffentlichen Zugang zur Burg Lisberg. Seiner Leidenschaft für dieses Denkmal ist auch die umfangreiche Sammlung an Realien zu verdanken, die noch heute in den Räumlichkeiten der Burg besichtigt werden kann. Ein weiteres Anliegen war Hans Fischer die Lokalisierung des ehemaligen Brunnens. Vergeblich bemühte er sich bei diversen Einrichtungen der Universität Würzburg um wissenschaftliche Unterstützung. Schließlich führte Fischer die Suche Ende der 1970er- bis Anfang der 1980er-Jahre in Eigenregie durch, wodurch die Schürfungen im Burghof, bis auf einige Lageskizzen der Baubefunde, leider undokumentiert blieben. Das damals geborgene, unstratifizierte Fundmaterial besitzt somit lediglich eine geringe archäologische Aussagekraft. Der vorliegende Aufsatz vereint die bisher in dieser Ausführlichkeit zuletzt Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts publizierte Geschichte der Burganlage mit der Präsentation der aus der Nutzungszeit stammenden Bodenfunde, die einen Einblick in die Sachkultur der gesellschaftlichen Oberschicht vom Hochmittelalter bis zur jüngsten Neuzeit vermitteln.
