Samples of NaNbO₃, KₓNa₁₋ₓNbO₃ and LiₓNa₁₋ₓNbO₃ are synthesised using a variety of techniques and subsequently characterised. In recent years, doped ceria compounds have attracted increasing attention as electrolytes for application in Solid Oxide Fuel Cell devices, thanks to their high performance at intermediate temperature.
