In the context of telehealth and internet of things (IOT), there are unprecedented needs for developing remote diagnostic tools that can monitor chemical and biological markers remotely anytime anywhere, such as via a smart phone. Such sensing devices are ideally soft and thin so that they can “bio-friendly” interface with soft biological systems. However, traditional biosensing devices are typically constructed by bulk electrodes which are rigid and planar limited electroactive surface areas. Here, I will present our skin-like sensing devices that can remotely monitor human’s health and cardi

Currently, all approved TCE BsAbs are based on a CD3 agonist Ab in the format of conventional monoclonal antibodies containing both light chain and heavy chain, which may limit the flexibility in multi-specific antibody construction and develo

Abstract IL-23 receptor (IL-23R) is canonically a T cell surface cytokine receptor known for its role in inflammatory diseases. In this study, we demonstrated that IL-23R localizes intracellularly in AML where it regulates mitotic spindle formation. Differential gene expressions were analyzed in AML samples compared to normal controls. Of the upregulated processes, the mitotic spindle ontology was most enriched. Analyzing all protein coding genes for their correlation to the mitotic spindle ontology surprisingly returned IL-23R as a top hit. We confirmed IL-23R expression in 7 of 7 tested AML

The analytical expression for the group index in a degenerated three-level lambda-type atomic system is derived as a function of the parameters of laser fields and external magnetic field. The influence of the external magnetic field on the group index is investigated. It is shown that by changing the magnitude or sign of the external magnetic field, the transparency window with normal dispersion switches to enhanced absorption with anomalous dispersion at the line center and hence the light propagation can be converted between subluminal and superluminal modes. KDM4A mRNA and protein are overexpressed in human and mouse NEPC compared to adenocarcinoma. Knockdown or knockout of KDM4A in NEPC cell lines suppressed cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo.
