Abstract:
The purpose of this paper to analyze the transformations in the French ballroom and choreographic practice, in the context of the development of culture of Western European countries of the XVI — early XXI centuries.
The methodology is an organic set of basic principles of research: objectivity, historicism, multifactority, systemicity, complexity, development and pluralism, and to achieve the goal, the following methods of scientific knowledge are used: problem-chronological, concrete historical, statistical, descriptive, logical and analytical.
The results. The analysis of trends in the development of ballroom dance in France and the influence of French culture on the formation of ballroom choreography in the XVI — early XXI centuries.
The analysis of trends in the development of ballroom dance in France and the influence of French culture on the formation of ballroom choreography in the XVI — early XXI centuries took place. The processes of transformation and democratization of ballroom choreography in the XVIII century, which already in the XIX century turned from salon art into a leisure object for various social strata throughout Europe, were investigated. In the XX century it was France that discovered non-European types of ballroom dancing for Europe, which subsequently acquired standardization in the English professional environment.
In the XX century France became the country where foreign art forms appeared and adapted to the conditions of European realities. France attracted artists from all over the world because of the special national culture formed in it. During the XX century the art of ballroom choreography in France developed rapidly. French performers and teachers continued long-standing national traditions. This factor had a positive effect on the training level of dancers in the field of professional and amateur ballroom dancing. Since 2010, France has been an active member of the World Dance Sports Federation (WDSF). The French Dance Federation (Fédération Française de Danse) is one of the largest organizations that develops ballroom choreography in the country. Over the past decades, dozens of open national and world ballroom dancing championships have been held in French cities (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Nice, etc.).
The scientific topicality is to identify the processes of the influence of French culture on the development of ballroom choreography in the XVI — early XXI centuries.
The practical significance. The research may be used in developing lectures by specialists in choreography.

Full text
Abstract:
The subject of the article is the text-mentative and its functioning in the Russian literature of the XX-XXI centuries. The concept of ‘mentative’ (which appeared in linguistics since the beginning of the XXI century by analogy with ‘narrative’) means a text with a mental reference, dialogically responding to the word and thought of the other. In linguistics, there is a typology of communicative strategies of the mentative in relation to the speech of the other. There are 8 strategies, they are equal logically, but unequal in dialogical and, consequently, heuristic relations. In Russian fiction, the text-mentative was established in the middle of the XIX century. That was due to the beginning of the stage of convergence of the artistic and non-artistic word in Russian literary evolution. The novel “War and Peace” by L. Tolstoy, containing multiple mentative fragments and entire chapters, became a clear sign of the mentative appearance in fiction. The stage of convergence of the artistic and non-artistic word continued until the end of the XX century, and all this time the specific weight and importance of the mentative in Russian fiction were steadily increasing. The article shows functioning of the mentative in the ideologically and artistically most important works of Russian literature of the mid – late XX century. These are novels by B. Pasternak “Doctor Zhivago”, A. Bitov “Pushkin’s House”, V. Pelevin “Generation ‘P’”, A. Chudakov “The Mist Falls on the Old Steps”, texts by A. Solzhenitsyn, V. Rasputin, V. Makanin. In all these works, the mentative allows us to formulate the key thoughts for the self-consciousness of the XX century Russian literature: morality, truth, the meaning of life and the danger of consumerism. In the XXI century, in the works by M. Kucherskaya, E. Chizhova, E. Vodolazkin, the mentative also occupies a large place, appearing in ideologically important fragments of works. As a result of the above, it is concluded that the role of the mentative in Russian literature of the XX century was steadily increasing. The authors of the article suppose that we witness starting of the stage of mental thematization of writing in the Russian literary evolution in the XXI century.

Abstract:
The article deals with the phenomenon of historical reenactment. It is noted that its actualization in the context of the culture of the XX–XXI centuries is due to a change in trends in the development of society. The formation of a visual turn contributes to the emphasis on forms of perception that are focused on interactivity. The "dry" story of past events is extremely difficult to perceive in the context of the spread of digital culture. Mankind is accustomed to the appearance of events that shock, impress, inspire and most of the impact is due to visual stimuli. There are several types of historical reconstruction – "living history" and tournaments. The movement of historical reconstruction in Europe can be divided into historical reenactment, which is divided into "living history" and combat reenactment, as well as creative reconstruction. Instead, in the Ukrainian space more attention is paid to the development of historical reconstruction in the dimension of sports competitions – ISB (historical medieval battles). Reproduction of elements of everyday life can act as a valuable source of information about culture. The spread of the phenomenon of historical reconstruction had an extremely great potential for the socio-cultural sphere. Historical reconstruction can serve as a tool for modifying museum practices. In recent years, there has been a steady trend towards the appearance of theatrical performances that revitalize the work of museum institutions. The actualization of historical reconstruction leads to the formation of festivals associated with historical battles. Often the festival of historical reconstruction includes various competitions and contests – fencing, archery or crossbow shooting, mass battles, a competition for the most authentic uniform. They draw attention to military affairs and history, combining integrative, cognitive functions, as well as being a part of leisure. The results of the study can be practically applied in the field of cultural management, project activities and in the work with the preservation of cultural heritage – material and spiritual.

The author reveals the mutual influence, similarities and differences between Western expressionism and Chinese painting in expressionist manner, Chinese imagery oil painting, Chinese colored ink painting, and Chinese imagery painting in Western style. Based on correlation between the spiritual ideology of painting and artistic form, the author carries out a comparative analysis of spiritual and formal factors of Chinese and Western painting systems for the purpose of determination of their mutual influence, and how it affects the emergence of new concepts in painting. The structure of brush stroke of the artist defines his aesthetic spirit. The article determines the “cyclic” nature of interinfluence processes between Chinese and Western painting systems that stimulate the development of human civilization. The analysis of corresponding cultural factors allows assessing the individual artistic characteristics of painting. Both, Chinese and Western painting systems entered the period when spiritual ideology of painting interacts with the artistic forms, opening the era of “globalization” of the language of painting.

Abstract:
The article examines the origins of political Islam in the Middle East and the terminological aspect of the problem. The stages of the formation of the Egyptian Islamic organization Muslim Brotherhood were clarified and its key ideological tenets were established. The political and socio-economic circumstances in which the organization was formed are outlined. Attention is drawn to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the military and economic presence in Egypt of the United Kingdom, which consolidated political Islamic parties. The process of transforming the Muslim Brotherhood from a "group of like-minded people" into a political party is considered. The political and legal ideas of the founder of the organization Hasan al-Banna are covered. which became the main strategy of the Muslim Brotherhood. The situation of the organization in the 30's and 40's was analyzed during the attempt of Nazi Germany to turn the Brothers into their own puppet. The article reveals the role in the organization of its ideologist Said Qutb. His main ideas and views, which formed the basis of the radical Muslim Brotherhood branch, are analyzed. The link between the radicalism of the organization and the ultra-conservative trend of Islam - "Salafism" - was noted. The connection of the Muslim Brotherhood with the Free Officers organization, which came to power in Egypt in 1952, has been disclosed. It was stated that the Brothers supported General Gamal Nasser in the struggle for power, which allowed them to take part in the parliamentary elections. It is stated that the Brothers' criticism of the policies of Gamal Nasser and Anwar Sadat on Israel led to a ban of the organization's activities in Egypt. It has been established that under the presidency of Hosni Mubarak, the "Brothers" tried to enter parliament in other parties. The place and role of the organization during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011, which led the Muslim Brotherhood to power, were examined. The main reasons for the failure of the organization are indicated.

Abstract:
The object of this research is the phenomenon of Siberian identity through the analysis of visual art of Siberian authors of the XX and XXI centuries. Siberian identity in the works of artists is substantiated by multiethnic population of Siberia and rich history of the region. The leading trend consisted in the popular in 1980’s – 2000’s “neo-archaic” motifs, i.e. reference to the ancient and traditional ethnic cultures of Siberia through the prism of modern perception. But it was not the first experience of resorting to the theme of Siberian ethnic archaism, since the masters of the late XIX – middle XX centuries also addressed to the artistic motifs of indigenous Siberian ethnoses and ancient culture, but it manifested in fundamentally different forms of aesthetics. The main method applied in this research consists in comparative analysis of the artworks of Siberian masters of visual and decorative art at two stages of its establishment (late XIX – middle XX centuries, and second half of the XX – XXI centuries), which reflected the process of finding Siberian identity. Novelty of the presented material lies in the thesis that the concept of “Siberian identity” is being developed by sociologists, philosophers and culturologists, who interpret it in the context of sociological and culturological constructs. The art review of this problem has not been conducted, despite the fact that the process of finding identity in the modern world is most vividly reflected through the images of visual and decorative-applied art.
