Abstract:
This article is dedicated to examination of the process of conception of satire in Yakut literature. The object of this research is the origin and evolution of satire in Yakut poetry. The subject is the satirical compositions of the founders of Yakut literature A. E. Kulakovsky and P. A. Oyunsky. The goal consists in determination of the role of the first writers in conception and development of satire. Yakut literary studies feature research dedicated to particular authors and works, rather than satire as a whole. Therefore, the relevance of this article lies in the holistic review of satire. The theoretical-methodological framework is comprised of the cultural-historical method, within the framework of which the conception of satire is considered a product of social life and cultural-historical conditions of Yakutia of the early XX century. The work also employs the specific-historical and comparative-typological methods of research. The scientific novelty is defined by the fact that the Yakut literary studies currently do not have a comprehensive and systemic research of satirical genre in national poetry. It is established that the pioneer satire in Yakut literature is the founder of Yakut literature A. E. Kulakovsky, who devoted his works to harsh criticism of the conservative traditions of patriarchal-feudal society, rapacity and inhumanity of the new capitalist relations. Kulakovsky was first to create gallery of the satirical portraits of social nature, such as socially classified images of stingy wealthy man, drunken bourgeois, etc. In the 1920s, the pioneer of Yakut Soviet literature P. A. Oyunsky composed works that of socially charged nature. The poet introduced the following new genres into Yakut literature: fable, pamphlet, and parody. Their works surged public thought and marked the birth of satirical genres in Yakut poetry.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to a previously unexplored problem - M.N. Zhirkov's study of the Yakut khomus, the study of which he undertook for the first time in the history of Yakut musical culture. The author of this article summarizes for the first time the aspects posed by the researcher about the Yakut khomus. The subject of research is the scientific views of M.N. Zhirkov about the Yakut musical instrument - the khomus. The object of study is the scientific heritage of the first Yakut composer and an outstanding musical figure. The main results of our research are the following theses. At the beginning of the twentieth century, there was an increase in interest in traditional musical instruments and their performing practices. This statement is also relevant in relation to the Yakut khomus, which in modern conditions is experiencing its revival and active introduction into musical and cultural turnover. The article uses a retrospective and historical-comparative, as well as a comprehensive research method, in which the khomus is considered as an integral part of the traditional, and now wider, musical culture of the Yakuts, taking into account the data available today from archaeology, ethnography, and history. M.N. Zhirkov is presented as the first researcher of the Yakut khomus and as the composer and founder of the national school of composition. In the fundamental work "Yakut folk Music", published only after almost half a century after author's death (a new edition of this study dates back to 2022, made in an edition preserving the style and position of M.N. Zhirkov from the standpoint of the historical time when the famous scientific work was created), its author for the first time turned his gaze to the issues of the origin, existence, and functioning of the khomus in the traditional musical culture of the Yakuts. The materials presented by him have not previously been generalized in the scientific literature and are of great interest to modern researchers of the Yakut Khomus.

For the first time, this article discusses issues related to the disclosure of the theme of an outstanding contemporary woman - famous figure of musical art as a carrier of creativity. The subject of the study is the image of a talented Yakut vocalist captured in the best works of fine art (L.M. Neofitoff, V.R. Vasilyeff, A.N. Ossipoff, L.D. Sleptsova) and literature (Semen Daniloff, E. Neimokhoff, I. Gogoleff, L. Popoff P. Kharitonoff). The object of the study is the work of Yakut artists and writers of the second half of the 20 - 21 centuries. For the first time, the article explores a previously unexplored aspect of their work. The descriptive, comparative, iconographic, historical-biographical methods are applied, which allow us to reveal the topic most effectively. This image presents the ideas of female beauty and natural talent inherent in the national consciousness of the people, which indicates that in the 1960-1980 in the perception of the Yakut society traditional ideas based on the mythology and folklore of Sakha were quite strong and stable. Thanks to her natural talent, studying in the class of the People's Artist of the USSR, professor of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory N.L Dorliak A.E. Ilyina was able to take place as an outstanding master of Russian academic vocal performance and herself as a creative personality had a great influence on the creative inspiration of many writers, artists and the development of Yakut art in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in the second half of 20 centuries. This article is the first experience in studying of this scientific problem.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the creative path of N. D. Neustroev (1895–1929) – one of the first three founders of the Yakut literature. The object of this research is his literary works in the Russian and Yakut languages. The article examines such aspects of the topic as the pioneer of novella and comedy in the Yakut literature, and writing style. Special attention is given to the description of writer's contribution to development of the genres of Yakut literature, in which depicted the Yakut life and revealed the peculiarities of national character. The relevance of this research is substantiated by the fact that the works of N. D. Neustroev are poorly studied. The main results consists in determining the contribution of N. D. Neustroev to the development of Yakut literature; viewing him as the founder of the genres of novella and comedy in the Yakut literature; examining his works as continuation of the traditions of A. Kulakovsky and A. Sofronov in the area of problematic, themes and images. Analysis is conducted on the genre varieties of the novellas of N. D. Neustroev, beginning with the social and routine to the adventurous and philosophical. The novelty of this article consists in introduction of the essays and novellas of N. D. Neustroev into the scientific discourse for the first time.

Abstract:
This paper addresses the semantics of dialectal names of mutovka (a stick with branches at the end used for mixing or stirring), with all of them belonging to the lexical-thematic micro-group “Utensils” in the Yakut language. Over 40 dialect names of mutovka with different connotations have been identified in dialectological, lexicographical, and ethnographic materials. The nomination principles of mutovka are determined on the external form and functions. The form and structure of mutovkas (round, branched, cross-shaped), material (wood, cow horn) depend on their purpose. Mutovka has different functions: for whipping koumiss, cream, or butter, and others, with the movement of the tool also of importance for nomination. The basic characteristic of any mutovka is ytyyyy “mixing, stirring, and churning.” The comparative analysis revealed that the Yakut lexemes ytyk and bhiheyeh indicate a common Turkic similarity. Most names of mutovka are part of the lexical fund of the Yakut language developed in the linguistic landscape of modern Yakuts (Sakha). Also, the dialect names bilier, biriel “kumys mutovka” have been found to have Mongolian roots. A semantic description allowed the origin of khamnatar “kumys mutovka” to be determined as an apotropaic lexeme with both all-Yakutian and dialectal meaning. The semantics of the mutovka names concerned reflects the cattle-breeding culture of Yakuts (Sakha) developed and spread in the subcontinental climate in the vast territory of the North-East of Russia. The findings specify the lexical-semantic micro-groups “Tableware,” “Utensils” to “Kumys ware and utensils,” “Ytyk,” to compile the thematic lists of Yakut household culture.

Abstract:
The article is a review of translations of the Yakut heroic epic olonkho into Russian and foreign languages. The review captures a large period, from Soviet times to the present. For the first time, such a study included unknown and little-known translations, as well as reviews on translations. The need to preserve and popularize the Yakut cultural heritage, represented by outstanding works of the Yakut classics, is confirmed by the history of Russia and of all mankind. The relevance of translation projects is due to the fact that in 2005 UNESCO recognized the Yakut heroic epic olonkho as a masterpiece of the oral intangible heritage of mankind, which, in turn, caused attention to olonkho in different countries. This fact inspired an interest to Yakut epic worldwide and stimulated translations of it into various languages and the research of these translations that supposed to be a tool for Northern cultural heritage preservation. The subject of the research is the EnglishThe significance of translations of the olonkho epic is determined by the features of the development of traditional communities at the present stage, their cultural heritage, which is in danger of extinction, is of particular concern. Olonkho - the ancient heroic epic of the Yakuts - is one of the brightest examples of the archaic folk epic. The olonkho formed the ideas of the Yakut people about the universe, a system of moral values, traditional beliefs and customs, the originality of language and culture. Particularly relevant is the question of the features of the translation of the Yakut heroic epic olonkho into the world languages. The uniqueness of the artistic world and the language of the epic olonkho determines the extreme complexity of its translation and significantly distinguishes it from all other kinds of literature. At the end of the twentieth century the Yakut heroic epic olonkho spoke not only in Russian, but also in other languages of the world. This paper considers translations of the Yakut epic olonkho into Russian, English, French, Korean, in particular, the full-text English translation of the olonkho Nurgun Botur the Swift by P.A. Oyunsky translations of olonkho Eles Bootur by P.V. Ogotoev and other epic texts. Translators of German, Turkish and Japanese also paid attention to various olonkho texts.

Abstract:
The language of fiction literature, language of the classics of national literature, prominent prose writers is the primary source for studying literary language. This article examines the role of interlinear in literary translation and the translation equivalents of complex sentences in the Yakut and Russian languages on the example of the novel “Alampa” by Egor Petrovich Neimokhov in two volumes. The subject of this research is complex sentences in the Yakut and Russian languages. Special attention is given to finding equivalents in translation of complex sentences in the Yakut and Russian languages on  the syntactic level language, as well as to determination of the role of interlinear in fiction literature. Yakut linguistics has started to study the stylistics of Yakut language, while the lexical, morphological, and syntactic stylistics is in its inception stage. The works of researchers dedicated to the syntax of Yakut language cover the questions of syntactic transformations using the example of attributive constructions (Vasilieva, 2002) and syntactic transformations of one-member sentences (Atakova, 2007). There are no special works dedicated to the analysis of complex sentences in fiction texts in the Yakut-Russian translation. This raises the need for studying the equivalents of complex sentences in interlinear translation, and its role in literary translation. The following conclusions were made: 1) the content of complex sentences in the Russian language usually correspond to the such in the Yakut language, although they differ significantly in structure; 2) in both languages, the semantic meanings of complex sentences are expressed through various means that reflect the peculiarities of non-cognate languages, however, separate equivalents are determined among such constructions; 3) in interlinear and literary translation, complex sentences of the Yakut text are preserved in the Russian language for the most part. Thus, interlinear translation plays the role of intermediary translation and directly affects the translation result.

Abstract:
The article examines the functioning of ethnonyms and ethnocultural stereotypes in the texts of the Yakut epic tales. It describes hitherto understudied ethnic groups’ nominations, the contexts and internal logic of its use in folklore narration with the involvement of published and archival sources. The main attention is paid to the tropeic function of ethnonyms, that is their inclusion in the various attributive expressions correlated with certain objects of the epic world. The author shows that three largest ethnic groups — Yakuts, Tunguses and Russians — are at the center of the “ethnogeography” of the Yakut epic. Comparisons with foreigners is characteristic of peripheral (culturally alien) loci of the epic world, and in the character system the concepts associated with them are emphasized in the images of the character’s opponents. Consideration of the attributes of the “others” distinguished by the tradition suggests the importance of economic and cultural features in the formation of their stereotypes.

The article is devoted to the work of the classic of Belarusian literature Yakub Kolas. His poems are singled out, as well as the poems “New Earth”, “Sim author — the land, without which real existence is impossible, and music as the language of the soul, a way of its self-expression. The writer, as a realist artist, relied on material taken from the Belarusian reality, from the life of relatives and friends who became the prototypes of his literary heroes. The author conducts some comparative analysis of the work of Yakub Kolas and Yanka Kupala, who wrote about eternity, about the inextricable relationship of the past, present and future. Particular attention is paid to the speech of Y. Kolas at the International Congress of Writers in Defense of Culture in Paris in 1935, which took place in a difficult political situation in Europe caused by the strengthening of Nazi Germany.

Abstract:
Between 1941 and 1942, the novel Yaban by Yakup Kadri (Karaosmanoğlu), published in Turkey in 1932, appeared in the ‘Medusa’ series of Mondadori editions. It was the first time that a twentieth‑century Turkish novel was translated into Italian and it was not done in a specialist field, i.e. by scholars, orientalists or even more precisely Turkish scholars, but within a series of a prestigious and innovative publishing house that had been set up to promote great international literature. The novel, which in Italian is entitled Terra matrigna, is however not a translation from the original but from German. Only a couple of years earlier, in fact, the same novel had been translated from Turkish into German, raising a certain clamour, especially in Turkey. This essay proposes a reconstruction of the editorial process that accompanied the Italian publication of Karaosmanoğlu’s novel, in an attempt to situate this first diffusion of a modern Turkish literary work in the Italian and European context, in order to understand the cultural relations and the framework of the understanding and reception of early twentieth‑century Turkish literature in Europe.

Abstract:
1990-2018 döneminde Türkiye ekonomisi, yıllık ortalama GSYİH, finansal gelişme, nüfus, ihracat, fosil yakıt kullanımı ve CO2 emisyonları açısından dünyadan daha yüksek yıllık artış hızlarına sahiptir. Bu durum Türkiye ekonomisini küresel ekonominin artışı için önemli bir ekonomi yaparken diğer yandan küresel çevresel bozulmayı azaltmak içinde önemli bir ülke yapmaktadır. Bu yüzden bu çalışmada finansal gelişme ve küreselleşmenin Türkiye’de çevresel kalitenin önemli bir göstergesi olan ekolojik ayak izi üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmaktadır. Bunun için finansal gelişme, küreselleşme, ekonomik büyüme, enerji tüketimi ile ekolojik ayak izi değişkenleri 1990-2018 döneminde yıllık veriler olarak kullanılmıştır. Değişkenlerin durağanlığı standart-ADF ve Fourier-ADF testleriyle araştırılmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki eşbütünleşme ilişkisi ise son yıllarda literatüre kazandırılan Fourier Engle-Granger eşbütünleşme testiyle sınanmıştır. Uzun dönem katsayı tahmini için ise FMOLS, DOLS ve CCR tahmincileri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre küreselleşmenin ekolojik ayak izini azaltmada finansal gelişmeden daha etkili bir araç olduğu görülmüştür. Bu nedenle Türkiye’de çevre sorunlarının çözümü için küreselleşme çok önemli fırsatlar sunmaktadır.
