The first of them appeared more than 120 years ago, but the real acquaintance of Chinese readers with his work took place in the 1950s because of the translations of Meng Hai and Wu Yan. Abstract Though docetaxel plus cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil (TPF) induction chemotherapy becomes the standard care for locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), some patients could not benefit from this therapy.
