Abstract:
Background & Objectives: Pain in Sciatica can be incredibly painful and intolerable which seeks immediate medical attention. Various treatment modalities are widely used but have side effects too. One of them is Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana (Bloodletting with modified cupping). This systematic review provides an assessment on evidence of pain management of Gridhrasi (Sciatica) by Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana (Bloodletting with Modified Cupping). Methods: The databases of PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library, AYUSH portal, Shodhganga, Clinical trial registry of India, Google scholar were searched systematically (since inception to February 2021) for relevant articles about the effect of Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana in pain management of Gridhrasi. All randomized controlled trials as well as non-randomized controlled trials, before and after studies and single group clinical studies assessing the efficacy of Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana in pain management of Gridhrasi was included. Results: The original search yielded 774 articles of which only 6 articles (1-pilot study, 1-case study and 4-single arm studies) met the inclusion criteria and they showed the effectiveness of Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana in Pain management of Gridhrasi. Interpretation & Conclusions: Though review shows that the Ghati Yantra Raktamokshana is effective in Pain management of Gridhrasi but due to the methodological and clinical heterogeneity and risk of bias of the included trials requires more strong evidences in terms of RCT’s with larger sample size and for longer duration to definitely conclude its effectiveness.

Abstract:
The uniqueness of His creation is reflected in different fields of life by the great masters throughout the ages that have born with the formation of the universe, from the big bang, till times still to come. Special ratio that can be used to describe the proportions of everything from nature’s smallest building blocks, such as atoms, to the most advanced patterns in the universe, such as unimaginably large celestial bodies. One of the key evidences presented for creation is the recurring appearance of the Divine proportion, or golden section, throughout the design of the human body and other life forms. An attempt has been made to relate Sri yantra and golden ratio and the various forms that seem to exemplify in the plan and elevation of the Indian temple. The yantra which is a complex geometry has been perfected to be used for the development of temple forms of different eras. The following paper will be a tool for the researchers to use the yantra in deriving the spaces of Indian temples.

The entire world is changing at a very fast pace since the transition phase of postmodernism. Science has, through various inventions, acquired complete dominance over the individual today. The use of Yantra in every sphere of life has made man himself a Yantra. All these changes have changed the way of life of human beings. Due to which mental distortions have taken place inside the person and evils have occurred in the society. Therefore, music is the only medium which is capable of destroying the evils generated in society.

Abstract:
Air pollution is the fifth leading risk factor behind theworld – wide mortality. Ever growing population size feeding industrial activity through demand channel, vehicular pollution accompanied by rapid urbanization and burning of fossil fuels pose a serious threat to clean air. Some major air pollutants under study in the city of Prayagraj are Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Particulate Matter (PM10) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2). Pollution profile of the city localityi.e. Rambagh, Johnstonganj, Alopibagh, Crossing Mahalakshmi talkies and Bharat Yantra Nigam are studied. PM10 level of exposure is serious in Crossing Mahalakshmi talkiesand Alopibagh area as exposure to very high level in the range of 250 – 400 µg/m3 occurs for the longest duration of time. Alopibagh, Johnstonganj and Rambagh shows critical level of Nitrogen Dioxide indicating higher vehicular movement in these areas. Trend wise, SO2 component has spiked above 12 µg/m3 at Rambagh, Johnstonganj and Alopibagh during the onset of winters season in 2016. Similar phenomenon was seen at Bharat Yantra Nigam and Crossing Mahalakshmi talkies during winter season of 2019. Arrival of monsoon tend to lower pollutants content in the outdoor ambient air quality. Overall air quality is in critical zone at Alopibagh for 45 per cent of the time period followed by Johnstonganj. Crossing Mahalakshmi talkies and Bharat Yantra Nigamshows critical air quality for more than 60 per cent of the time period which calls for urgent action to prevent them from entering the critical zone. Overall air quality of Prayagraj is range bound with air pollutants improve during the monsoon season. However, improvement in air quality has reduced in the last two years as fall in air pollutants is less in 2018 and 2019 monsoon compared to previous two years. The findings of the paper will help the administration, municipal corporation and various stake holders of the city to take targeted measures locality wise towards pollution control depending upon pollutants concentration and exposure area – wise. It will also raise public awareness about pollutant levels in their area.

Abstract:
In Ayurveda classics, Marma is illustrated as the vital point in the human body and its knowledge plays an im- portant role in Sharir Rachana. Marma was first documented by Acharya Charak but the detailed description of Marma Sharir is available in Sushruta Samhita. Acharya Sushruta stated every aspect of Marma like definition, types, signs, and symptoms related to injury of Marma. Marma is a very important structure present in the body which causes pain or even death when getting injured. According to Acharya Sushruta in the description of Eka- dash Indriya Hasta and Paad are included under the five Karmendriya and their function is mentioned as Aadan and Vihar respectively and Hasta (hand) is considered as the most important/superior Yantra among all the Yan- tras by Acharya Susruta. Although each part of the human body is important still extremities possess the most importance as all body activities depend on limbs as without limbs existence of the human body is hard to imag- ine. So Anatomical interpretation of Urdhva Shakhagata Snayu Marma along with its clinical importance is very much needed in the present era. An attempt has been made to explore structures present in Urdhva Shakhagata Snayu Marma through cadaveric dissection. Keywords: Ekadash Indriya, Snayu Marma, Yantra.

Abstract:
Although it is acknowledged that Islamic astronomy developed very rapidly during the Abbasid period (750-1258 AD), it should be noted that before the advancement of astronomy of the Islamic world, Muslim scholars of the time were very incentive to translate astronomical books from other nations, one of them was from India. There were at least two factors that led to the emergence and development of astronomical science in pre-Islamic Indian civilization. The first, the teachings of Hinduism that made the sun as the ruler and source of life. The second, the influence of civilization from other nations such as Egypt, Persia, and Greece. In pre-Islamic times, there were a number of names of historical figures of Indian astronomy namely Lagadha, Yajnavalkya (800-900 BC), Aitareya Brahmana (about 900-800 BC), Aryabhata (476-550 AD), Varahamihira (499-587 AD) Brahmagupta (598-668 AD), Bhaskara II (1114-1185 AD), and Nilakantha Somayaji (1444-1544 AD). While in Islam, there was a number of names namely Mulla Farid, Mulla Chand, Mulla Tayyib, Mulla Mahmud Jaunpuri (1606-1651 AD), Ghulam Hussain Jaunpuri (1790-1862 AD) and others. The results of civilization of Indian astronomy is clearly visible with the ancient astronomical texts, the concept of the universe, the Hindu calendar, observatory, zij (astronomical tables), and astronomical tools such as gnomon, Yasti Yantra, Ghati Yantra, astrolabe, and others.

The earliest astronomical instruments in India are the śaṙku (gnomon) and the ghaṭikā (clepsydra). The former is mentioned in the Śulbasūtras, and the latter in the Vedāṅqajyotiṣa. Aryabhaṭa described a rotating model of the celestial sphere. After Aryabhaṭa, several instruments were described by Varāhamihira, Brahmagupta,Lalla, Śrīpati , and Bhāskara II. After Bhāskara II , some Sanskrit texts specialized on astronomical instruments were composed. The earliest text of this kind is the Yantra-rāja (AD 1370) written by Mahendra Sūri. It is also the first text on the astrolabe in Sanskrit. After Mahendra Sūri, Padmanābha, Cakradhara, Ganeśa-Daivajña etc. composed Sanskrit texts on instruments, but most of them remain unpublished.

Abstract:
The development of space understanding in the Balinese architecture is deeply influenced by the theology, philosophy, and concepts of the Hinduism. Therefore, the real existence of the Balinese spatial layout is the grounding of the Hindu ideology. The Hindu teachings such as tat twam asi, bhuana agung - bhuana alit, panca maha bhuta, tri hita karana, tri bhuwana, purusha-pradhana, and others have been instilled in the practical principle of the Balinese architecture such as tri mandala, sanga mandala, tri angga, sukat ‘measurement’, natah, decoration, color, texture, and others. The Hindu spir- ituality in the Balinese and spatial architecture is manifested by: (1) Arrangement of the physical structure, building, landscape, anthropometry, topography, geography, and local climate, and aesthet- ics (form of yoga). (2) Various meanings and symbols on the spatial and physical layout of the building (form of yantra and tantra). Ayurveda delineates dosha dushya sammurchana as cause of vyadhi and samyata of dosha provides arogya. Panchakarma is a pentagonal cleansing process of Ayurveda where, it eliminates vitiated dosha. There are different types of shodhana therapies have been described in samhita like vamana, virechana, raktamokshana etc. out of which raktamokshana is considered as best therapy for pitta and rakta pradoshaja vyadhi. So raktamokshana by different modalities is much more effective in resolving pathogenesis in these diseases. The process of raktamokshana can be traced back to the vedic period. Acharya Susruta has mentioned regarding bloodletting in detail in his treatise. To expel out the vitiated blood, seven procedures are advocated; Sira Vedhana (Venesection) Sringa avacharana (Horn application), Alabu aavacharana (Gourd application), Jalouka avacharana (Leech application), Pracchana karma (Scrapping), Ghati Yantra avacharana (Cupping glass application) and Suchi avacharana (Needle application). Raktamokshana can attenuate several conditions foremost related to rakta dushti vikaras. Here an attempt has been made to recollect details regarding raktamokshana prescribed in treatises.

Abstract:
Panchakarma is a fundamental part of Ayurveda. It is chiefly constituted of especially deliberate five procedures for detoxification of the body. These include Vamana (emesis therapy), Virechana (purgation therapy), Basti (therapeutic enema), Nasya (errhine therapy) and Raktamokshana (bloodletting therapy). Acharya Sushruta father of surgery mainly deals with Chaladanta in Sushruta Samhita. Shalya Tantra. It is carried out with the help of different surgical apparatuses like Yantra, Shastra and Anushastra. Panchakarma is not only a sohana (bio- purificatory) process but involves a wide range of therapeutics such as samana(therapeutic) brahmana (rejuvenat- ing), Ropana (healing), lekhana (scraping), prasamak (soothing). Acharya susruta explained widely Vranasasti- upakram as with applications in the practice of Shalya Tantra i.e, Ayurvedic discipline of surgery. Numerous tex- tual references are available where the procedures of Panchakarma and up karmas have been adopted as an im- portant measure to Vrana Ropana along with the institution of surgical mediation directly or partially. Imagery and concentration groups undertook 10-week of internal imagery training and concentration training (using yantra), respectively. Duration of eye fixation and focus zone were examined by ASL mobile eye-tracker. Results showed that after taking 10-week practice of internal imagery and concentration training, there were no statistically significant within-subject and between subject differences in focus zone and eye fixation (p> 0.05) in three groups. Correlation analyses showed that in the imagery group, there was significant correlation between duration of eye fixation and focus zone (R2 = 0.59, p < 0.05). Results showed that increased duration of eye fixation is directly proportional with distortion of focus zone in imagery groups.

Full text
Abstract:
Fractures are the main flow path in rocks with very low permeability, and their hydrodynamic properties might change due to interaction with the pore fluid or injected fluid. Existence of minerals with different reactivities and along with their spatial distribution can affect the fracture geometry evolution and correspondingly its physical and hydrodynamic properties such as porosity and permeability. In this work, evolution of a fracture with two different initial spatial mineral heterogeneities is studied using a pore-scale reactive transport lattice Boltzmann method- (LBM-) based model. The previously developed LBM transport solver coupled with IPHREEQC in open-source Yantra has been extended for simulating advective-diffusive reactive transport. Results show that in case of initially mixed structures for mineral assemblage, a degraded zone will form after dissolution of fast-dissolving minerals which creates a resistance to flow in this region. This causes the permeability-porosity relationship to deviate from a power-law behavior. Results show that permeability will reach a steady-state condition which also depends on transport and reaction conditions. In case of initially banded structures, a comb-tooth zone will form and the same behavior as above is observed; however, in this case, permeability is usually less than that of mixed structures.

Abstract:
Bhallataka Taila (Oil) is extracted with the help of Patala Yantra. It is one of the important formulations in Ayurveda pharmaceutics. Shelf life for various dosage forms are described in Ayurveda classics. In the current scenario, the amendment of Rule No. 161-B of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act 1940, specifies the maximum shelf life of Ayurvedic formulations. However, there is a lack of shelf life data for individual for-mulations. Thus, the present study is aimed to evaluate the shelf life of Bhallataka Taila (Oil). Bhallataka Taila (Oil) was extracted following classical guidelines. The sample was subjected to an accelerated stability study maintaining the temperature and humidity 40 +- 2 0C and 75 +- 5 %, respectively. Physico-chemical parameters were analysed at the initiation of the study and at an interval of 1, 3 and 6 months to check the degradation levels in the formulation. Tests for microbial limit and heavy metals were also conducted for the safety and quality of the product. On extrapolating the observations, the shelf life for Bhallataka Taila (Oil) was found to be 4.89 years, which exceeds the shelf life mentioned for Taila (Oil) in official gazettes of the Government of India. This oil preparation does not incorporate any liquid media such as Swarasa (Juice), Kwatha (decoction), etc. as required in any Taila Preparation, resulting in low degradation rate. The oil is rich in PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) content and tocopherols, which may contribute to the stability of the oil.

Abstract:
This article is the result of qualitative research using hybridity theory and the concept of the Siwa-Buddha theology (I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa). Hinduism and Buddhism are one of the religions found in Indonesia and initially developed and was born in India. Even so, the existence of these two religions is disharmonious in the land of their birth. The problem studied is the factors that cause Siwa-Buddha to coexist harmoniously in Bali. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with an interfretative paradigm. The object of his study is the harmonization of Śiwa and Buddha in Bali. The result and discussion is that the factors that cause Śiwa-Buddha Coexistence in Bali include theological, philosophical, historical, psychological and sociological factors. (1) The telogical factor of Siwa teachings is manifested by the symbol of Ongkara, while in Budha it is called Hrih. (2) The philosophical factor of Śiwa-Buddha harmony in Bali in the concept of deliverance in Hindu religious beliefs will lead to the realm of Sūnya and Nirvana in Budha beliefs. (3) Historical factors in the area of origin Siwa-Buddha experienced great conflict and became a dark historical record, but in Indonesia on the contrary Siwa-Buddha lived in harmony and hamonis. (4) The psychological factor of tantric Śiwa-Buddha teachings, the human body as a miniature universe it becomes the center of a quest to the One through the use of Aksara, Mantra, Yantra, Mudra, and Yoga. (5) The sociological factors of the Balinese Hindu community are familiar with that Śiwa-Budha are indeed one and One. Bhatara Śiwa-Buddha withtraits Ardhanareswari in Bali is known as Hyang Tunggal. The existence of Śiwa-Buddha in Bali, which is a meeting between two beliefs and can live side by side and in harmony in Bali.

Abstract:
Avabahuka is caused mainly by vitiated vata. Avabahuka is not mentioned in nanatmajvatavyadhi but acharya sushruta and other acharyas considered avabahuka as vatavyadhi. Avabahuka is a disease that affects amsa sandhi. Avabahuka is correlated with frozen shoulder of modern science. It is also known as adhesive capsulitis, or stiff shoulder where joint pain and stiffness of shoulder joint both occur. Therefore as avabahuka causes major limitations in activities of daily living casting a negative influence on the quality of life as well as long-term or even permanent disability in a few of the patients, proper treatment is needed for the problem. In ayurveda basic principle of avabahuka treatment is vata shaman chikitsa. The general line of treatment for vatavyadhi issnehana, swedana, mrudusamshodhan, basti, nasya, and so on. Abstract:
This research was designed qualitatively descriptively because the field phenomenon that wanted to be expressed was in the form of subjective experience and knowledge of the informants, then analyzed to obtain intersubjective conclusions. Aims to identify and interpret field data based on the view of transcendental communication. Postpositivistic paradigm with a phenomenological approach to communication. The material object of the procession is ngereh for the monks in Bali, while the formal object is the application of the concept of transcendental communication. The use of qualitative design means that this research emphasizes more on reality with interactive, plural dimensions, and the existence of an exchange of social experiences that can be interpreted individually. Hinduism (Bali) is a tantrayana religion. All activities of practicing tattwa and morals are in the form of religious events, which use the traditional ritual. One of the religious events, which contain the practice of divinity is the use of statues/pretima in the form of a temple bhatara which is worshiped in temples in Bali and several temples outside Bali. Before becoming a priest, a newly created pretime/barong/rangda, a purification ritual (sacralization) must be carried out to get the panugrahan as a priest's tapakan. This chilling procession for the bhatara's tread is the object of this research, and four important things have been found. First, at each stage of the ritual a transcendental communication event occurs. Second, the transcendental communication component in the context of the ngereh procession at the bhatara's footprint in Bali includes the procession actors (pengereh) and supernatural/supernatural powers (who act as communicators and communicants alternately). Mantras or sehe that are spoken and mudras that are made mystically (act as messages), as a means of upakara as a yantra or communication medium. Third, the context of transcendental communication that can be identified for the tapakan bhatara is: the context of communication when the mangala/stakeholder/sangging performs the prayascita ceremony. when the mangala/stakeholder/sangging performed the ngatep and mintonin ceremonies, and when the mangala/stakeholders/sangging performed the pasupati and ngereh ceremonies. The four effects of transcendental communication include cognitive experience/knowledge, affective experience/knowledge, and behavioral experience/knowledge

Abstract:
In 1936, in Odessa, the largest temple of the North-Western Black Sea region, the Transfiguration Cathedral on Cathedral Square, was barbarously destroyed. By this time, the Cathedral had undergone the robbery of valuables, legalized by the Soviet state, with the destruction of relics. Since 1991, on an initiative basis, the creative team of architects and students of the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute began to collect initial data and develop a project to recreate this outstanding lost object of the cultural heritage of Ukraine. In 1999, the team of architects of the communal enterprise "Odesproject" won the all-Ukrainian open competition for the best project for the reconstruction of the temple and began to develop scientific and design documentation, according to which in 2000 construction and installation work began on Cathedral Square. Since 2002, scientific and project documentation on the architectural and decorative finishing of the facades and engineering support of the Cathedral, the interiors of the Lower and Upper Churches, the Andreevsky Hall, baptisms for children and adults - was developed by the architectural studio "M-Studio". When carrying out a complex of preparatory work, the development of a draft design, working documentation, interior designs, scientific support and field supervision, the authors used scientific and practical research methods, which helped to substantiate and accept decisions for implementation, which were subsequently detailed in the scientific and design documentation. The article presents the main research methods that were used to recreate the outstanding lost cultural heritage of Ukraine – Transfiguration Cathedral in Odessa, 1991- 2010. The methods used in the reconstruction of the Cathedral are conditionally divided into two groups: the first group concerns the formation of the traditional character of the historical environment of the Cathedral Square and the second - the formation of the image of the restored Cathedral, including its interiors. Presents 21 methods from the first group, these methods were used in the study and formation of the traditional character of the historical environment of the Cathedral Square and the facades of the Cathedral: Building sanitation, Revealing layers, System approach, Compliance with the prototype, Field surveys, Archaeological research, Architectural and geodetic measurements, Analysis and Synthesis, Hypotheses, Architectural Yantra, Paradigms, Photogrammetric Reconstruction, Prototyping, Modeling, Logic, Citizens Informing, Comparison, Brainstorming, Visual Shading, Manufacturability, Collectiveness. The methods used in the reconstruction of the Cathedral contributed to the adoption of the most acceptable scientific and design decisions both in terms of the formation of the traditional character of the historical environment of Odessa Cathedral Square, and in the formation of the image of the Cathedral, including the interiors of its Upper and Lower Temples. The article can be useful for specialists working in the field of reconstruction of outstanding lost objects of cultural heritage.
