Abstract:
Advances in silicon technology over the last decade have led to increased integration of analogue and digital functional blocks onto the same single chip. In such a mixed signal environment, the analogue circuits must use the same process technology as their digital neighbours. With reducing transistor sizes, the impact of process variations on analogue design has become prominent and can lead to circuit performance falling below specification and hence reducing the yield. It is learned the length, coupon payment and amount of the issue are significant in explaining the CAR as is the age of the firm, first-time issuers and the marketplace where its stock trades. Abstract:
Cross-country (c.c.) skiing is a complex sport discipline from both physiological and biomechanical perspectives, with varying course topographies that require different proportions of the involved sub-techniques to be utilised. A relatively new event in c.c. skiing is the sprint race, involving four separate heats, each lasting 2-4 min, with diverse demands from distance races associated with longer durations. Therefore, the overall aim of the current thesis has been to examine the biomechanical and physiological factors associated with sprint c.c. skiing performance through novel measurement

Abstract:
This thesis presents an energy prediction tool for photovoltaic (PV) modules, based on the measure-correlate-predict principle. The tool allows quantification of the impact of the different environmental factors influencing PV device efficiency for different sites as they deviate from standardised test conditions and combines their effects for energy yield prediction of different module technologies operating in different climates. Amongst these environmental influences, the impact of angle of incidence has been particularly under-researched. In this work, a systematic investigation of the inf

Abstract:
Propolis as natural dietary additive can be used to manipulate rumen fermentation towards less methane (CH4) and it may affect animal reproductive and productive performance. To study the application of propolis, three studies were conducted. The first study aimed to evaluate the in vitro nutritive value of two types of propolis (Brazilian red propolis (BRP) and Egyptian brown propolis (EBP) for their anti-methanogenic activity, ruminal fermentation and degradability. Propolis extracts were prepared using 70% ethanol and added to a 50:50 Tifton hay to concentrate diet at three levels [0 (negat
