Abstract:
This article identifies and analyzes four passages in the ancient Chinese Christian manuscript Yishen Lun (YSL) that exhibit distinct Jewish characteristics. The phrase “yizhong zuo shenghua” (lines 356–358) mirrors the Book of Acts’ theme of “sanctification of the Gentiles,” rooted in the Jewish dichotomous worldview, placing Jews, or Shihu Ren, at the center. The author’s use of this phrase distinguishes him from yizhong ren (Gentiles) and aligns him with Shihu Ren. In lines 256–263, YSL directly attributes messianic declarations to Jesus, a central issue in Jewish accusations of false Messi

AbstractIn the first part of the 13th century ce, Khubilai Khan's armies began their invasion of the Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279). When they reached the Song capital Lin'anfu at Hangzhou City, Zhejiang province, at the beginning of 1276, the Song officials decided to flee south with the two Song child heirs to the throne. This article examines ancient records of the flight of the Song court with particular emphasis on the history of its famous Prime Minister Chen Yizhong. Archaeological evidence is further evaluated as it relates to Chen's exploits within China and in Southeast Asia.

Abstract:
In this paper, we propose a sparse optimization approach to maximize the utilization of regenerative energy produced by braking trains for energy-efficient timetabling in metro railway systems. By introducing the cardinality function and the square of the Euclidean norm function as the objective function, the resulting sparse optimization model can characterize the utilization of the regenerative energy appropriately. A two-stage alternating direction method of multipliers is designed to efficiently solve the convex relaxation counterpart of the original NP-hard problem and then to produce an

Introduction: As China has increasingly ushered in the era of mass tourism, ancient city or town tourism has gained popularity across the country, and a significant number of new scenic spots in ancient towns have been constructed. However, these lovely spots typically rely on conventional tourist and catering. Many tourists focus more on the issue of how to study old cities’ cultural ambiance and internal features on a deeper level, as well as the depth of its connotations. This paper examined the language landscape creation of the Yizhou Ancient City in Linyi, China, to delve into the langua

Abstract:
Cadmium (Cd) pollution poses a severe threat to rice safety and human health, while traditional linear models exhibit significant limitations in predicting rice Cd accumulation due to environmental complexities. This study systematically evaluated the predictive performance of Random Forest (RF), Gradient Boosting Decision Tree (GBDT), and Residual Neural Networks (ResNet), using a multi-source soil–rice dataset comprising 57,200 samples from Hunan Province. The results showed that the RF model performed best on the test set (R2 = 0.62), with the dominant features being soil’s available Cd (co
