Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) ceramics doped with Ce3+ was prepared by dry compaction using the common uniaxial pressing under powerful ultrasound assistance (PUA). The structure and luminescent properties of sintered ceramics were investigated. It was demonstrated that the powerful ultrasonic assistant during the dry pressing has a positive effect on the structural and luminescent characteristics of YAG: Ce3+ ceramics. The sintered material consolidation is very intensive accompanied by a decrease in the number of pores and grain growth at a sintering temperature of 1650 ºC. The luminous effi

Quantum dots (QDs) is considered as a potential material for the improvement of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). However, different from the traditional phosphor materials, they have unique scattering and absorption properties affected by their several nanometers sizes, which makes their application in the production of LED confront more challenges. In addition to this, their influences on QDs-converted LEDs (QCLEDs) are rarely investigated. So as to propose solutions for those problems, in this article, we experimentally and theoretically investigated the impacts of titanium dioxide (TiO2</

Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG: RE) rare-earth-doped phosphors have great photoluminescence (PL) characteristics and are commonly used in lightemitting rectifying tubes. The RE elements used in these phosphors, however, are precious and in shortage. The production of phosphorus containing a limited amount of RE content is therefore essential. One solution is to manufacture Nano composite phosphors that use an inexpensive and more easily available content as a matrix for RE oxide. In this research, we developed a YAG: Ce/SiO2 Nano composite using a sol-gel procedure; in order to impulse micelle f

Multiple investigators have suggested that infrared laser energy facilitates hard and soft tissue wound healing through various mechanisms, including the suppression of inflammation. This study investigated the influence of neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) laser exposure time on pro-inflammatory cytokine/chemokine concentrations in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated rat peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). Cultured rat PBMCs were stimulated with various LPS concentrations (0, 10, 100, or 1000 ng/mL) and treated with Nd:YAG laser irradiation for 0 (control), 30, 45, or 6
