Abstract:

Bu araştırma Şanlıurfa'da 2015-2016 yaz yetiştirme sezonunda, Harran Üniversitesi Osman Bey yerleşkesi Ziraat Fakültesi araştırma ve uygulama alanında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada; kamışsı yumak (Festuca arundinaceae), İngiliz çimi (Lolium perenne), rizomsuz kırmızı yumak (Festuca rubra L. subsp. Commutate), rizomlu kırmızı yumak (Festuca rubra L. subsp. rubra), koyun yumağı (Festuca ovina), çayır salkım otu (Poa pratensis) materyal olarak kullanılmış, tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekerrürlü olacak şekilde kurulmuştur. Bu çalışmada; çim yaş ot verimi (kg/da), çim kuru ot verimi (kg/da), çıkış hızı (gün), kışa dayanıklılık (1-9), kaplama hızı (gün), kaplama derecesi (%), yaprak dokusu (1-9), kardeş sayısı (1-5) ve seyrekleşme derecesi (1-9) gibi karakterler incelenmiştir. Deneme bulgularına göre; Şanlıurfa ekolojik şartları için önerilebilecek sıcak mevsim çim tür çeşitlerinin pek çok özellik açısından kamışsı yumak (Festuca arundinaceae) Golden Gate çeşidinin kullanılması uygun olacaktır.

Abstract:

This study intend to analyze the creations of Syofyani Yusaf dance. Study methods using the phenomenological method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The study subject is Syofyani Yusaf. Data analysis techniques using evaluative descriptive. Syofyani Yusaf is one of the prominent artist from West Sumatera. At present there are around 20 dances created. These dances have been studied through dance studio, formal school, and study programs in art colleges. The results of an analysis of Syofyani’s dance shows; (1) the dances theme originaly come from the life of the Minang cultures; (2) Preservation of dance creations is carried out through culture exchange programs and culture knowledge. The results of the study can be concluded that dance creations by Sofyani Yusaf are sill performed and studied by the people not only from the Minang tribe but also another tribes. It is recommended that teachers in formal and non-formal schools become agents of culture exchange programs and culture knowledge.

Abstract:

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat beli konsumen dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya terhadap pembelian tempe pada UD. Yuzak di Kecamatan Panji Kabupaten Situbondo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat beli konsumen akan produk tempe yang dijual oleh UD. Yuzak berada pada ketegori sangat tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat beli konsumen tempe pada UD. Yuzak adalah pelayanan dan psikologis, sedangkan harga dan kualitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat beli konsumen. Hal ini dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut yaitu : a). Tidak terdapat pengaruh harga terhadap minat beli konsumen produk tempe dengan t-hitung sebesar 1,033 dan t-tabel sebesar 1,986 (t-hitung < t-tabel). b). Tidak terdapat pengaruh kualitas terhadap minat beli konsumen produk tempe dengan t-hitung sebesar 0,710 dan t- tabel sebesar 1,986 (t-hitung < t-tabel). c). Terdapat pengaruh pelayanan terhadap minat beli konsumen produk tempe dengan t-hitung sebesar 2,248 dan t- tabel sebesar 1,986 (t-hitung > t-tabel). d). Terdapat pengaruh psikologis terhadap minat beli konsumen produk tempe dengan t-hitung sebesar 2,039 dan t- tabel sebesar 1,986 (t-hitung > t-tabel)

Abstract:

Language is one of the most crucial factors which influence social experiences and relations of transnational migrants. Moreover, crossing borders becomes an important strategy for acquiring valuable linguistic resources in the globalized neoliberal economy. For instance, through jogi yuhak (Early Study Abroad), the transnational educational migration of Korean middle class families, parents aim to provide their children with the opportunities to acquire multilingual competence as important skills for them to become competitive neoliberal workers in the global economy. However, anxiety and insecurity are inherent in transnational movement in the sense that relocation necessarily implies adjustment to new conditions of life. This paper investigates the anxieties and insecurities which Korean jogi yuhak families experience during their transnational educational migration. Based on an ethnographic study on Korean educational migrant families in Singapore, it explores how uncertainty and tension serve as an unavoidable aspect of strategic migratory choices and how the fierce pursuit of neoliberal subjectivity through global mobility works to increase the anxieties of the families. Korean jogi yuhak families’ constant negotiation between conflicting expectations and options across multiple scales of Time and Space in their migratory trajectories leads to awareness of the complex relationship between language and space, resulting in increasing anxiety and insecurity.

Abstract:

La enfermedad de Chagas es endémica en extensas regiones de Bolivia, el control de Triatoma infestans es indispensable para iniciar el tratamiento a los afectados. El objetivo es determinar el índice de infestación domiciliaria por triatominos en la comunidad Yurak Rumi, Villa Pagador. Es un estudio de campo tipo descriptivo de corte transversal, cuantitativo, la investigación se llevó a cabo en el mes de julio de 2017 en la comunidad Yurak Rumi, 100 viviendas investigadas se seleccionaron mediante un muestreo simple al azar. De 100 viviendas investigadas 10 estaban infestadas por el artropodo. El índice de infestación domiciliaria en esta comunidad es del 10%, se debe reducir este valor para que no ocurra la transmisión vectorial, con modificación de la vivienda y de los hábitos de los pobladores que propician el aumento de refugios. Conflictos de Intereses Los autores declaramos no tener conflictos de interés para el presente estudio.

Abstract:

The article is devoted to the poorly studied problem of the origin of the name Yuraki, which the Russians, as well as the Enets and Nganasans, called the group of the Samoed-speaking population that wandered along the northern outskirts of Western Siberia in the 17th — first half of the 20th century. On the basis of published and unpublished archival materials, information from the works of Russian and foreign scientists, as well as dictionaries of the peoples of the North, we attempted to identify the ethnic composition of the Yuraks, the boundaries of their settlement, determine the chronological framework for the emergence and existence of this name and clarify its origin. The research has resulted in a number of reasonable conclusions and assumptions. The name Yuraki appeared in the 17th century, when the tax policy of the tsarist administration in the north of Western Siberia provoked active resistance of certain groups of the nomadic Samoyed population. Russians called the Yoraks / Yuraks nomadic in the deep tundra, who did not pay a permanent tax, tundra and forest Nenets and Enets, as well as a mixed Nenets-Enets group. This name comes from the Nenets word Yor meaning "depth". By the 19th century, the Nenets of the Yenisei province began to be called Yuraks, regardless of the tax system. In the Soviet household documents of the Dolgan-Nenets National District, this name appeared until the middle of the 20th century.

Abstract:

This article reviews the aspect of Silla kingdom’s capital city by analyzing articles that is related from «Samguk Yusa» as part of the study of literature on the ancient Silla kingdom of Korea. First, the articles related to the Silla kingdom’s capital city in “Samguk Yusa” were categorized and analyzed by themes, also the utilization plan for restoration was examined. Next, I tried to estimate the transition process of the city and the scope of its area through the articles related to the city where palace was placed. In general, after the reunification, the capital city of Silla changed into a form that has expanded considerably to the outside of the Wolseong fortress wall, which is the former kingdom. As the function and status of the royal palace, which is the place where the king resided is changing and the Wolsung fortress wall, which became the former royal palace, is used to perform ceremonies and diplomatic meetings while the king is generally inhabited in the Manwolsong castle. It is thought that it changed into the form when two palaces in the city were used which maintained until the end of Silla.

The article presents reflections on how to lift some families out of poverty by providing employment to the population. Ensuring employment of the population is one of the most important tasks of state policy. Abstract:

Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) play important role in lipid metabolism and in processes of remodeling and reparation in central nervous system. Three common ApoE isoforms, ApoE2, ApoE3 and ApoE4, show strong genetic determination by ?2, ?3, and ?4 allele. In human genome gene encoding Apolipoprotein E (APOE) is located on cromosome 19, and ?2/?3/?4 haplotype system is defined by 2 non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the APOE exon 4. The frequency of the three APOE alleles and corresponding genotypes varies across human populations, with possible clinical implications. At least, variable distribution of ?4 allele may contribute to the regional risk of cardiovascular and Alzheimer?s diseases. Allele-frequency comparisons between younger and older populations suggest an effect of APOE on mortality, but these data are not consistently confirmed. In the present study we have analyzed the distribution of APOE gene polymorphism in a group of University students and retained University professors living in Serbia. After DNA extraction from peripheral blood samples, the APOE genotype was determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) followed with HhaI restriction digestion. We found no statistically significant difference in alleles and genotypes distribution between younger and elder group of participants. Also, there was no significant difference compared to APOE data previously obtained in YUSAD cohort of healthy school children (15 y of age) from different regions of Serbia. In both of our groups, as well as in YUSAD cohort, frequency of APOE ?4 allele was <10%. The observed frequencies are lower than in neighboring countries, but similar with Spanish data and some Asian populations. Our results do not support important role of APOE ?4 in the morbidity and mortality in Serbian population, but gene-environmental-social interactions should be considered.

Abstract:

The effect of 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene C677T polymorphism on serum lipid profiles is controversial. We randomly selected 530 healthy schoolchildren that were included in the Yugoslav Study of the Precursors of Atherosclerosis in School Children (YUSAD). The detected frequencies of MTHFR 677TT genotypes and MTHFR 677T allele were 13.4% and 35.5%, respectively. The mean levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglycerides were higher and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol was lower in the group of children with TT genotype compared with remaining genotypes. All differences were without statistical significance. Our findings suggest that there is no influence of MTHFR C677T gene variants on the lipid parameters in the population of Serbian children.

Abstract:

AbstractThe aim of the study was to analyze changes of systolic and diastolic blood pressure values over five and ten years separately boys and girls and to estimate correlation between them. Three age groups from 8 centers in Serbia were evaluated: Group 1: 10 year old patients, Group 2: 15 year old and Group 3: 20 year old. Group with normal blood pressure values, prehypertensive and hypertensive group were analyzed. Regarding the period of follow-up we analyzed: 10/15 years period-children between 10 and 15 years, 15/20 years period-children between 15 and 20 years, and 10/20 years period-children between 10 and 20 years. Significant increase of diastolic blood pressure was noticed for both genders in 10/15 years period of prehypertensive population, while in hypertensive children, boys showed decline in frequency for systolic and diastolic blood pressure and girls only for diastolic. In 15/20 years period there was significant decrease of prehypertensive and significant increase of hypertensive diastolic blood pressure frequency. In 10/20 years period significant reduction in frequency of prehypertensive systolic blood pressure was noticed, while only hypertensive group of boys showed significant reduction regarding systolic blood pressure frequency. Prehypertensive diastolic and hypertensive systolic blood pressure fluctuations are more related to age.

Abstract:

A period in which we are in that the information is becoming increasingly important. Today, progress and development follow each other. Thus literacy concepts have gained importance and have begun to diversify in line with the needs of individuals. One of these varied literacy is graphic literacy. Visual literacy is at the forefront together with graphic literacy. The aim of this study was to improve the graphic literacy of 7th grade students of middle school with Graphic literacy activities. In the study, pre-test-post-test control group research model was used from the quasi-experimental research models. In 2015-2016 academic year, study was conducted on the students in the central school in Yunak, Konya. A total of 45 students were surveyed, consisting of 21 students in the experimental group and 24 students in control groups. While the control group learns as the curriculum requires, in the experimental group students continued to use the graphic literacy activities besides the courses. A study was conducted by a researcher for a total of 8 weeks. It is seen that the relationship between decision making skills and concept learning in this study, which is made by using graphical literacy activities, is in a positive direction.Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. Özetİçinde bulunduğumuz dönem bilginin giderek arttığı ve önem kazandığı bir devirdir. Günümüzde ilerleme ve gelişmeler birbirini takip etmektedir. Böylece okuryazarlık kavramları önem kazanmaya ve bireylerin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda çeşitlenmeye başlamıştır. Bu çeşitlenen okuryazarlıklardan birisi de grafik okuryazarlığıdır. Grafik okuryazarlığı ile birlikte görsellik ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Grafik okuryazarlık etkinlikleri ile ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin grafik okuryazarlığının geliştirilmesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma yarı deneysel araştırma modellerinden biri olan ön test- son test kontrol gruplu araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır.2015-2016 Eğitim öğretim yılı Konya ili Yunak ilçesinde merkez okulda öğrenim gören öğrenciler üzerinde çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deney grubu içerisinde 21 kontrol grubu içerisinde 24 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 45 öğrenci üzerinde araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kontrol grubu öğrencileri müfredatın gerektirdiği gibi öğrenim görürken deney grubu öğrencilerinde ise derslerin yanında grafik okuryazarlık etkinlikleri kullanılarak ders işlenmeye devam edilmiştir. Toplam 8 hafta süren bir çalışma araştırmacı tarafından gerçekleştirilmiştir. Grafik okuryazarlık etkinliklerinden yararlanılarak yapılan bu çalışmada karar verme becerileriyle ve kavram öğrenmeleriyle olan ilişkinin olumlu yönde olduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract:

As a new dimension of transnational connections between East and Southeast Asia, this paper explores educational migration of South Korean “early study abroad” (jogi yuhak) students and accompanying mothers to Singapore. In examining Asian educational migrants to the “West”, many previous studies tend to focus on the accumulation of cultural and linguistic capital not available within Asia. However, I argue that the study of educational migration within Asia needs to go beyond the Bourdieuan framework of capital accumulation. Instead, the case of South Korean educational migrants in Singapore illustrates that these migrants emphasise more on the enactment rather than accumulation of cultural capital, the process wherein many emotional resources and embodied techniques are required in order to activate what the migrant students have accumulated through their overseas education. This study identifies the “Asian advantage”, specific types of emotional and educational benefits that are believed to facilitate the migrant students’ capital enactment in their imaginings of future trajectories of “going global”.

Trichomycterus varii new species, is described from a small tributary of the High Andean Plateau Region, Jujuy, Argentina. The new species is distinguished from other species of Trichomycterus by the following characters: the caudal peduncle expanded in the area of procurrent caudal-fin rays, distal tip of pelvic fin not reaching the anus when depressed, the presence of fronto-lachrymal tendon bone without lateral process, the first pectoral-fin ray terminating at the margin of the fin, the distal margin of pectoral-fin rounded, seven pectoral fin rays, 15–19 interopercular odontodes, the supraorbital sensory canal with the presence of pore s3, the infraorbital sensory canal segment with the presence of pores i1 and i3, the laterosensory canal of trunk with three sensory pores, 16 pairs of ribs, 11 precaudal vertebrae, and 25 caudal vertebrae. It closely resembles T. yuska and T. pseudosilvinichthys from northwestern Argentina and western Bolivia, but differs in head canal sensory pattern.

Abstract:

Introduction. Athersclerosis is a multifactorial disease that begins in childhood. There are few reports regarding influence of risk factors on the atherosclerotic processes in early period of life and adolescence. Objective. The aim of this study was to present and analyze risk factor trends in school children over a 10-year period that were included and followed-up by the Yugoslav Study of Atherosclerosis Precursors in School Children (YUSAD Study). Methods. There were three examinations of selected population from 13 centres. The first examination was performed when children were 10 years of age (first group; N=6381 participants), the second examination on the same population when they were 15 years of age (second group; N=5017) and third when children were 19/20 years of age (third group; N=1293). Evaluated parameters included: BMI, waist circumference (WaC) and lipid profile (total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglyceride). Results. A significant elevation of values (p<0.001) of BMI, WaC and triglycerides and a significant decline (p<0.001) of total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol in boys over 5 and 10-year period was noticed. There was a significant elevation (p<0.001) of BMI, WaC and HDL values and a significant decline in LDL cholesterol values in girls over the 5 and 10-year period. Conclusion. Our results point out that girls between 10 and 19/20 years have a better lipid profile during growth. It should be stressed out that childhood and adolescence can be more beneficial in the observation of risk factor influences on pathological, genetic and clinical levels.
