Abstract:

The world is becoming increasingly dependent on online services. To offer a service, a network must be in good health and free of any attacks. An attack happens when the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of a service is compromised. Network monitoring is a solution capable of maintaining these network devices from their usage up to detecting attacks. A denial of service (DoS) attack on a network can affect the network performance and can cause serious damage. Zabbix is an open-source network monitoring tool that is versatile and can be used to monitor hosts on a network. The purpose of this project is to detect possible ping and SYN flooding attempts on a server and send alerts to the administrator via Telegram. This project uses Zabbix to monitor a server for potential ping and SYN flooding attacks. Tcpdump is used to log the pings received by the server. When the server continuously receives 10 or more pings per second, an alert will be automatically generated and sent to the administrator via Telegram. Similarly, a SYN flood attack is detected by using netstat’s SYN_RECV flags. When the server continuously receives more than 10 SYN packets without an ACK packet, Zabbix will generate alerts that are sent via Telegram and update the dashboard to show a problem. Zabbix was able to accurately detect all ping flooding attempts on the server. However, SYN flooding attacks were not as accurately detected. The use of Zabbix can be implemented in small businesses or networks for an automated monitoring system. Future work can include more DDoS attacks and adding countermeasure actions when detecting attacks by blocking the IP or port associated with the attack. SYN flooding detection needs to be improved because only two out of three attacks were able to be caught.

Abstract:

Penggunaan Nagios dan Zabbix sebagai alat untuk mendeteksi dan mengirimkan notifikasi peringatan apabila terdapat suatu device atau host yang mati secara tiba-tiba (down). Objek pemantauan dari penelitian ini adalah IP kamera CCTV (Internet Protocol Closed Circuit Television) dan server kamera (Host Windows) yang mengelola IP kamera tersebut. Kegagalan sistem ini dapat disebabkan karena pemadaman listrik. Hal ini menyebabkan matinya seluruh perangkat jaringan (network device). Maka dari itu perlu sebuah notifikasi secara real time apabila salah satu dari kamera atau server kamera mengalami kegagalan sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Telegram dan Gmail bisa digunakan sebagai alat untuk mendapatkan notifikasi di perangkat telepon pintar. Pengiriman notifikasi dari aplikasi Nagios akan langsung dikirimkan (tanpa penundaan pengiriman) ke Telegram dan Gmail setelah terdeteksi status down / up sedangkan aplikasi Zabbix mengalami penundaan. Tetapi aplikasi Zabbix dapat medeteksi lebih cepat daripada aplikasi Nagios untuk pantauan Host Windows dan IP Kamera.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan khususnya jaringan sangatlah pesat oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem jaringan komputer yang sangat canggih. Dimana permasalahan yang sering terjadi disebuah perusahaan ataupun institusi yang sudah memakai server sering sekali kurangnya fleksibilitas dalam pengawasan server karena mudah sekali terjadi human error yang mengarah kepada admin jaringan yang bertugas untuk mengawasi server. Sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut dengan menggunakan sistem Zabbix sebagai Network Monitoring System karena Zabbix sudah memiliki tampilan GUI berupa map dan grafik sehingga membantu pengaturan administrasi maupun sistemnya. Implementasi Bot sudah banyak digunakan dengan keunggulan dalam keandalan untuk menyediakan data ke pengguna yang tidak terbatas oleh waktu. Dengan Bot ini admin jaringan dengan mengirimkan perintah ke Bot maka informasi yang diinginkan akan diberikan ke admin jaringan tanpa harus mengecek langsung kondisi server secara real time.

Abstract:

Today, network technologies can handle throughputs up to 100Gbps, transporting 200 million packets per second on a single link. Such high bandwidths impact network flow analysis and as a result require significantly more powerful hardware. Methods used today concentrate mainly on analyzes of data flows and patterns. It is nearly impossible to actively look for anomalies in network packets and flows for a small amount of change of monitoring patterns could result in big increases in potentially false positive incidents. This paper focuses on multi-criteria analyzes of systems generated data in order to predict incidents. We prove that systems generated monitoring data are an appropriate source to analyze and enable for much more focused and less computationally intensive monitoring operations. By using appropriate mathematical methods to analyze stored data it is possible to obtain useful information. During our work, some interesting anomalies in networks were found by utilizing simple data correlations using monitoring system Zabbix. We concluded that it is possible to declare that deeper analysis is possible due to Zabbix monitoring system and its features like Open-Source core, documented API and SQL backend for data. The result of this work is a new approach to the analysis containing algorithms which allow to identify significant items in monitoring system. Abstract:

Traffic analysis and monitoring is needed to improve network service quality by using statistical analysis to obtain traffic characteristics. These statistics provide important signals about service quality and network throughput. Because of the heterogeneity of the bandwidth requirements of the traffic flow resulting from different applications, the resulting data can be used to determine the nature of IP traffic and to consider its characteristics. The first data type is data available from the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to the network nodes. The second is from IP current monitoring. The combination of these two data types provides a solid foundation for traffic analysis and monitoring. Which in this case we will apply to Mikrotik, dude applications, Internet of Things, Social Media, Website, SNMP, Probe, Zabbix, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).Monitoring results are displayed in graphical form on the Network Monitoring System Web Application, so that users can find out more information. The network monitoring system developed is also very effective because the packet sent in one transaction is very small, which is 309 bytes when compared to the larger SNMP protocol. The results of the configuration of hardware and software with Zabbix NMS went well with the success of monitoring the service by detecting status changes on each host with 2 ownership statuses Ok and Warning. The availability value is influenced by the Uptime and Downtime of a device. The greater the Uptime value, the greater the availability value. The availability test results show that the application made has an error rate of 0% when compared with the calculation results. Using a network monitoring system using the SNMP protocol on the Mikrotik router and dude application, can help in network management

Abstract:

Server monitoring activities are important to ensure the availability of resources used for the execution of its internal processes. Generally, Administrators monitor the use of server resources through a computer using a browser. The problem with monitoring through a computer is less flexible and slow for checking notifications about the state of problem server resources in real-time anytime and anywhere using smartphones. This study aims to develop notification integration on smartphones from a server resource monitoring system using Zabbix Webhook and Telegram. The research method used is the Cisco PPDIOO Lifecycle Approach to Network Design and Implementation. As a case study, it is located at the Center for Empowerment of Informatics and Nuclear Strategic Area, the National Nuclear Energy Agency. The results of the study are notifications on smartphones via the Telegram bot account indicating a problem with resource usage. The results of this study have been used by server Administrators. The server Administrators have provided information about the benefits of this system, for flexibility, speed of getting information in resource usage, identifying, and resolving problems before there are complaints so that the quality of service is getting better.

Abstract:

Internet users continue to grow. However, there are still many who have not experienced the Internet. One of the contributing factors is the cost of the Internet which is not cheap. Most Internet users get Internet access by subscribing to their respective ISPs. In addition, today more and more crimes are committed via the Internet. This study aims to provide a solution to reduce the cost of subscribing to an ISP and provide healthy Internet access. At Ciruas Center Shops, all traders and buyers use the Internet. Even if it's just for entertainment or even for buying and selling. The system applied in this research is where Internet users can get Internet access only by subscribing to one ISP. That way the fees paid to the ISP can be paid by mutual cooperation. The result of this research is an Internet provider system in which there is Zabbix Network Monitoring System (NMS) software as a network traffic monitor and Squid Proxy as a barrier as well as security when connected to the Internet.

Abstract:

This article addresses the challenges of a digital cloud environment when it comes to global scalability with a large number of remote servers and an unsecure public cloud, such as Amazon. The goal of the study was to work out an approach for evaluating the reasonable system capacity under heavy workload. For that purpose, Zabbix monitoring solution is used and business metrics are applied in relation to existing system ones. A prediction data model is proposed to compute the future forecast of the user activity based on the collected historical statistics and to verify whether capacity adjustment is possible or not. The results of capacity planning are implemented at Genesys International Telecommunications Company. System analysis of the production environment indicates the possibility to downscale the capacity of certain virtual servers, which allowed savings to the annual operational costs of $3500 (50%) for each affected server.

Abstract:

Nowadays, the heavy reliance on computer networks necessitates minimizing outage time, increasing the availability of services, and preventing network related problems. Such realization requires continuous monitoring and observation. This is not a trivial task. Thus, automatic network monitoring tools are deployed to monitor and analyze the traffic trespassing network devices. There is an increasing demand for automated network monitoring tools and selecting a suitable candidate can become a challenging task. Some computerized network monitoring tools and systems are available, including expensive proprietary/closed-source solutions and Free Open Source Software (FOSS) systems. Three of the most popular FOSS network monitoring systems are: Nagios, OpenNMS and Zabbix. They are solid competitors to the available proprietary solutions. This paper evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of these tools. A qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the tools were conducted through monitoring real-time network traffic. The paper presents a thorough comparison between the tools. The comparison results are vital for network administrators wishing to adopt the studied monitoring tools.

Abstract:

The subject of this research is the new methods for improving the efficiency of Zabbix monitoring systems for the computational infrastructure of the universal infocommunication commutator, built upon the principle of globally distributed computational complex using the information cloud technologies. The object of this research is the globally distributed computational system of RingCentral corporation (USA), which is based on the technology of hybrid information cloud deployed in over a hundred  data storage and processing centers in all large economic and geographical zones, which provides universal infocommunication services, including video and audio conferences, virtual stationary automated telephone, and organization of call centers. Design and improvement of infocommunication cloud platforms, which provide universal communication services is a complex scientific, technical and economic problem; without its solution it is impossible to create information infrastructure with the service quality indicators that meet the demands of the society. This problem is of particular relevance in the context of worldwide sanitary-epidemiological pandemic of coronavirus, since part of the production processes was switched to remote work, and is executed without physical presence of administrative and technical personnel at the enterprises of national economy. This entailed a decline in the efficiency of networks and quality of customer service in certain infocommunication companies due to excessive nominal loads on the information network, and this, the failure of crucial nodes of user traffic processing.

Abstract:

ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) is preparing for a major upgrade of the detector, readout and computing systemsfor LHC Run 3. A new facility called O2 (Online-Offline) will play a major role in data compression and event processing. To efficiently operate the experiment, we are designing a monitoring subsystem, which will provide a complete overview of the O2 overall health, detect performance degradation and component failures. The monitoring subsystem will receive and collect up to 600 kHz of performance metrics. It consists of a custom monitoring library and a server-side, distributed software covering five main functional tasks: parameter collection and processing, storage, visualisation and alarms. To select the most appropriate tools for these tasks, we evaluated three options: “Modular Stack”, Zabbix and the currently used ALICE Grid monitoring tool called MonALISA. The former one consists of a toolkit including collectd, Apache Flume, Apache Spark, InfluxDB, Grafana and Riemann. This paper describes the monitoring subsystem functional architecture. It goes through a complete evaluation of the three considered options, the selection process, risk assessment and justification for the final decision. The in-depth comparison includes functional features and throughput measurement to ensure the required processing and storage performance.

In the paper there is described a method for the active monitoring of rotor bearing state of the micro-turbine installation allowing timely notification of the workers in charge about essential turbine generator maintenance. The solution offered is fundamentally new in this field of investigations as it was not used earlier for the control of rotor bearing state of turbine generators. In the paper there are enumerated all components essential for the operation of the system and a method for their connection. A process for adjustment and updating the solution offered is described. As a basic component of the system for data collection there is used Arduino Uno controller. As a main software component is chosen Zabbix 5.0 monitoring system. The objects under investigation are described, and there are presented conclusions on effectiveness and economic purposefulness of the solution offered.

The article says about distributed and high load systems, common problems and common instructions for solving such problems as denormalization, replication and sharding of transport and maritime aspects. The analysis of strengths and weaknesses of technology for the transport field of activity was carried out. A fragment of the code for sampling optimization is given. Conclusions about the global use of industry technology are made. When your current infrastructure starts to show the first signs that it is no longer cope with the load and if you have a 128 MB VPS - for you, it can be 10 requests per second. For corporations, it can be 10,000 requests. There is a need for scaling and optimizing the infrastructure. Maritime office needs a good monitoring system. It will help determine the very moment when it's time to scale. Stable systems for monitoring and tracking server performance trends: Munin, Zabbix, Nagios. What usually happens when the high load point is approached: slow or infinite loading of pages; random errors; broken connections from the Web server; partial loading of content (for example, there is no part of the image), and a decrease in audience activity. This direction is very modern and promising for the transport industry.

Cada vez mais estamos dependentes de sistemas e equipamentos informatizados, sejam eles servidores, computadores, impressoras e etc. Com base nessa dependência, criou-se também a necessidade de que esses serviços essenciais, que agora são informatizados, cumpram o seu papel, e que estejam lá quando solicitados. Tendo isso em mente tornou-se necessário o monitoramento de servidores como método de checagem e disponibilidades desses serviços. Implantou-se assim, na área de produção do CCUEC, um software de monitoramento de licença proprietária. Todavia, a equipe buscou propiciar à Unicamp uma economia considerável realizando um trabalho de pesquisa por ferramentas semelhantes sem custos de obtenção e manutenção. Após diversas análises atentando-se às necessidades do Centro de Computação, foi escolhida a ferramenta Zabbix. Todo o estudo de implementação teve como fator primordial a escalabilidade de monitoramento dos serviços. Atualmente a ferramenta monitora cerca de 335 hosts entre servidores, switchs e etc. Dentre esses servidores são monitorados 959 itens no método de checagem simples como por exemplo: ping, http, Mysql e etc. Inicialmente o projeto era a substituição do software antigo. Essa meta já foi concluída. Os novos desafios aceitos pela equipe apontam para um método de monitoramento pró-ativo, configurando nos equipamentos monitorados agentes responsáveis por colher dados de maneira completa e eficiente. Buscamos, desta maneira, disponibilizar uma visão de alto nível da infra estrutura, disponibilidade dos serviços providos pela unidade e cada vez mais recursos para auxiliar nas importantes decisões do Centro de Computação.

Enterprises and businesses running on light application systems, using small bandwidth and requiring fast deployment such as ATMs, vending machines, digital signage kiosks and small store branches We propose a method and concept and implementation, in the form of a Data Network Security Configuration For Business Growth VPN architecture Mobile Network Connectivity for various businesses. By implementing products and services by developing the configuration and model of VPN Tunneling Protocol rules, using the EOIP Protocol and SSTP Protocol methods and virtualization schemes using the VLAN Bridging method on Wide Area Network (WAN) network connectivity. This method takes advantage of the LTE features found on the RB751U-2hnd and then integrates Huawei Mobile Broadband LTE. We also present a general Service Level Agreement (SLA) and an open source tools-based SLA network system Zabbix. Then configure the VPN Tunneling Protocol and its features on the RB751U-2hnd using Paramiko Network Automation. The focus of the results of this research is that by utilizing the available tools we will build a VPN with system monitoring facilities with the results achieved are network performance and availability and show that the design we build can be used for private connections for growing businesses. the results obtained from testing for 1 month for the 3 providers used, for the average throughput value with VPN tunneling applied TSEL 14.2 Mbps, ISAT 13.9 Mbps and XL 13.5 Mbps. The SLA value obtained is based on acceptable criteria, TSEL 91.5%, ISAT 91.8% and XL 90.6%.

Increasingly complex network heterogeneity and network monitoring tasks become the management concentration of a large distributed production infrastructure with various business services requiring a centralized control monitoring system, with increasing network size, heterogeneity and complexity. The network monitoring and management solutions available are not only expensive but also difficult to use, configure and maintain. Manually routing pins to the wrong device on a large complex network is very complicated and time-consuming for Service Provider (SP). Thus, it is necessary to have an automatic system that immediately reports to the network Service Provider (SP) monitoring system regarding the type of error or alert, Network Availability and Service Level Agreement (SLA). This research presents the modeling design and implementation of Network Availability and SLA network systems for Service Provider (SP) organizations, by being based on open-source programming tools (Zabbix System) and intelligently integrating to monitor network devices, especially to get Network Availability and SLA parameters and values on a customer or customer. Monitoring Customers devices in the network in the form of a module alert parameter that will be applied so that it is seen and can be said to be a universal Plug & Play technology concept (UPnP). Monitoring system developed will provide value and quality of service (qos) output parameters in the form of measuring and taking test value parameters Network Availability and SLA modeling, which will produce an accurate Service Level Agreement (SLA) value parameter test, and become a reference for an agreement between a service provider and a customer. As a guarantee or link availability for the services provided by Service Provide (SP) to customers. With the SLA value fulfilled at 99.9% with a 99.5% agreement, Network availability is met with a percentage of 98.89% and Down time with a percentage of only 1% of the agreement 2%, and the latency value of the terrestrial transmission media obtained is 2 ms, from the 8 ms agreement and the obtained VSAT transmission media is 500-600 ms from the agreement latency value is 700 ms.

Sugeruje, że sens historii Kaina i Abla wykracza poza znane interpretacje: Jacka Filka Ponura twarz Kaina (interpretacja filozoficzna), Alana Aycocka Piętno Kaina (wykładnia antropologiczna) oraz Jose Saramago Kain (ateistyczny punkt widzenia). Prezentuje jej nową wykładnię, którą nazywa misteryjną. Stara się znaleźć odpowiedzi na pytania: Dlaczego Kain zabił? Czy mógł nie zabić? Dlaczego Pan przyjął ofiarę Abla, a nie przyjął ofiary Kaina? Dlaczego Bóg kładzie na nim znak ochronny? I kim w ogóle jest postać Kaina?</p><p>Podstawą zaprezentowanego w artykule nowego spojrzenia na grzech Kaina jest interpretacja zawarta w pracy Tajemnica Kaina teologa Michała Klingera. Autor przedstawia nowe konteksty rozumienia istoty kainowego przewinienia. Dochodzi do wniosku, że biblijna opowieść o bratobójcy zawiera w sobie przesłanie o niejasności wyroku boskiego i o uniwersalizmie zła, ideę, że nieodłącznym elementem człowieczeństwa jest nie tylko dobro, ale również zło. Kain jest podobny do grzeszników ewangelicznych obecnych w życiu Chrystusa i dostępujących przebaczenia i zbawienia.</p>

The subject of this article is an analysis of the film Killing Auntie (Zabicie ciotki, 1984) by Grzegorz Krolikiewicz. The author reconstructs the history of the film’s making, recalls the memories of actor Robert Herubin, cinematographer Krzysztof Ptak, and director Grzegorz Krolikiewicz. The author reads Killing Auntie through the prism of Andrzej Bursa’s prose, refers to the heritage of surrealism and the way the director refers to it. According to the author it is important to answer the question of whether Killing Auntie is a specific kind of performance. The article concludes with a reflection on the moral dimension of Killing Auntie and an attempt to answer the questions: did the murder in Killing Auntie really happen and could any of us commit it?

Este é o último volume do periódico no ano de 2015, assim se faz necessário apresentar um balanço deste ano. Com esta publicação são 220 artigos, perfazendo uma média de 27,5 artigos, por volume. De acordo com o Google Analytics, em 2015 o periódico teve 99,28 mil usuários com 429,44 mil visualizações, os quais acessaram em média 3,2 páginas, com duração de 2,41 minutos. Comparando estes resultados aos do ano de 2014, foi identificado um crescimento no número de usuários (15,64%), nas visualizações de páginas (19,76%) e na duração média (13,32%).Neste ano, os quinze principais países que acessaram a HOLOS foram: Brasil (94,4%), Portugal (0,93%), USA (0,64%), Índia (0,54%), Espanha (0,48%), Moçambique (0,34%), França (0,31%), Reino Unido (0,16%), Rússia (0,14%), México (0,12%), Colômbia (0,12%), Quênia (0,11%), Chile (0,10%) e Alemanha (0,08%). Artykuł jest poświęcony historii młodego człowieka z Cheronei, który stał się przedmiotem zainteresowania rzymskiego oficera dowodzącego stacjonującą w tym mieście kohortą. Damon zaatakował oficera i kilku jego żołnierzy, których zabił. Cheronejczycy skazali go i jego kompanów na śmierć. W odpowiedzi Damon zabił urzędników miejskich. Lucjusz Lukullus, który znalazł się w pobliżu miasta, zbadał tę sprawę i uznał, że miasto nie ponosiło żadnej winy za to, co się stało. Damon po amnestii powrócił do miasta, gdzie jednak został zamordowany. Celem artykułu jest przeanalizowanie chronologii wydarzeń i ich kontekstu, a także znalezienie odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy Damonowi i jego kompanom można przypisać antyrzymskie nastawienie. Czy Damon może być symbolem oporu Greków wobec Rzymian?

Przedmiotem badań zaprezentowanych w artykule są konteksty produkcyjne, dystrybucyjne i krytyczno-filmowe filmu Agnieszki Holland Zabić księdza (1988). Autorka dowodzi, że włączenie filmu, zrealizowanego jako transatlantycka koprodukcja, do nurtu kina autorskiego i kina polskiego nie wynika z jego treści i cech stylistycznych, ale jest głównie efektem praktyk dystrybucyjno-krytycznych. Tekstualna analiza filmu demonstruje, jak dyskurs krytyczny rozwijany w systemie kina narodowego scala zaburzenia koherencji tekstu filmowego powstające w wyniku napięć narracyjno-afektywnych. Autorka analizuje również, jak rozmaite czynniki zewnątrztekstowe, głównie praktyki dystrybucyjne i krytyczne, nadają Holland status autorki filmowej, który włącza ją w obszar (narodowego) kina artystycznego.

This study used crop budgets to assess the impact of declining groundwater levels on the economic value of irrigation water in the Wadi Zabid region of Yemen. The study found that returns to land and water were highly sensitive to changes in groundwater depths over time and the free availability of spate water for irrigation. Crops differed in the amounts of irrigation water applied and in their returns to land and water. Banana had the highest irrigation requirement, but also delivered the highest return to land. Banana’s return to water was greater than that of date palm and feed sorghum, but lower than that of mango and food sorghum.

The bionomics of anopheline vectors were analysed in randomly selected centres, representing fixed and spot-check stations. Three anopheline species were found. Anopheles arabiensis was the most prevalent species [84.2%]with a sporozoite rate of 0.7%, followed by A. culicifacies adenensis [14.9%]and A. rhodesiensis rupicolus [0.9%]. Maximum indoor resting density was recorded during March, July and August. Positive sprayed sites for females were higher in bedrooms [40.4%]than animal sheds [26.9%]. A total of 2560 anopheline larvae were collected of which 79.5% were A. arabiensis, 19.4% were A. culicifacies adenensis and 1.1% A. rhodesiensis rupicolus. Abstract:

The article offers an analysis of discursive reactions to the altermodernist patterns developed by urban social movements, present in right-wing and conservative-liberal narratives and journalism. These reactions are clearly backlash. The main thesis of the article is that they meet the conditions of moral panic. Therefore, the following elements of moral panic have been identified: excessive concern for the established order, false representations based on exaggeration and distortion, and the construction of deviation through the negative stereotype of the urban activist. The crucial element of the latter is the construction of the political enemy by means of “communization”.

Abstract:

Uzasadnieniem podjęcia problematyki aktywności państwa w sferze rozwoju przedsię-biorczości, zagadnienia analizowanego najczęściej w ujęciu funkcji administracji publicznej w go-spodarce, są intensywność i zakres wprowadzanych zmian. Celem opracowania jest wykazanie, że przyjęta polityka państwa na rzecz rozwoju wywołuje określone konsekwencje zarówno w sferze normatywnej, jak i funkcjonalnej, a przede wszystkim w strukturach administracji publicznej. Nowe rozwiązania organizacyjne i funkcjonalne w administracji publicznej wdrażane są jako efekt zabie-gów na rzecz usprawnienia działania i budowania administracji racjonalnej. Kształtowanie nowego modelu administracji bądź jego reorganizacja pod hasłem administracji odpowiedniej do społeczno--gospodarczych potrzeb wymaga jednak uwzględnienia podstawowych założeń ustrojowych.

Abstract:

Tradycyjna corrida de toros, należąca do szerokiej kategorii widowisk tauromachicznych, kojarzy się najczęściej z domeną mężczyzn. W istocie dane statystyczne potwierdzają, że większość zatrudnionych w branży osób to mężczyźni. Kobiety stanowią zaledwie kilka procent. Od samego początku istnienia corrida de toros kobiety aspirowały do zawodu matadora. Matador ma prawo, a wręcz obowiązek zabić byka podczas widowiska. Zadanie to jest postrzegane jako niebezpieczne i bardzo trudne. Historia tauromachii pokazuje, że zawsze istniały kobiety, które próbowały przeciwstawiać się obowiązującym stereotypom. Zazwyczaj były to jednostki. Kobiety nie uczyły się tego zawodu masowo. Współcześnie nastroje społeczne są w większości przypadków im przychylne, jednak nadal w porównaniu z mężczyznami kobiet-matadorek jest bardzo mało. Część społeczeństwa uważa nadal, że kobieta nie powinna zabierać życia, bowiem stworzona jest do jego dawania.
