Abstract:

O presente estudo aborda os principais métodos da Avaliação Empresarial no âmbito de demonstrar, na forma de passo a passo, como estimar o valor financeiro de uma PME. Deste modo, são apresentadas as técnicas mais usadas pelo mercado corporativo, mais especificamente, a avaliação pelo Método Contábil, o Fluxo de Caixa Descontado e a Avaliação por Múltiplos, a fim de identificar a metodologia que melhor se adequa à realidade de uma empresa de pequeno-médio porte. Sendo assim, este trabalho propõe, através de um estudo de caso, a aplicação de cada método em uma PME de capital fechado, no intuito de obter seu valor econômico-financeiro. Esta empresa pertencente à indústria do vinho caracteriza-se como um negócio familiar e irá iniciar um processo de captação de investidores. Por conseguinte, existe a necessidade, por parte da gestão da companhia, em entender o valor de mercado do negócio. Os resultados obtidos em cada modelo serão analisados no intuito de confrontar as proposições de valor do empreendimento através de espectros diferentes.<br>This study presents the main business valuation methods in order to demonstrate how to value a SME in Brazil. That said, the most common valuation techniques, specifically, the accounting valuation, discounted cash-flow and the multiples approach are exposed step-by-step with the purpose of understanding the most suitable methodology for a small or medium-sized enterprise. Thus, this research introduces a case study of a family business acting in the wine industry in order to apply each valuation method. This small-medium company is seeking for a private investor to fund its new strategic plan, but first the directors need to understand the business s market value. The results achieved by each valuation model will be analysed and compared to provide a better understanding of the financial value through different outlooks.

Abstract:

Les etudes que nous avons achevees dans cette these traitent des ecoles islamiques (colleges de droit et d'autres islamiques), fondees dans la ville de zabid a partir de 10e s. De notre ere jusqu'au 17e s. Elles sont au nombre de soixante-sept, dont vingt sont encore en activite. Cette etude est la premiere a border ce sujet. Cette these commence par une table des matieres ainsi qu'un avant propos. Elle est divisee en quatre chapitres. Le premier chapitre est precede par une introduction a l'histoire de la ville, en commencant par sa fondation au 9e s. Puis 13e s. Et 14e s. Lorsque la ville de zabid etait a l'epoque la capitale de l'etat rasulide, une des grandes puissances de l'orient, et enfin l'occupation ottomane au 16e s. Elle est suivie par un nombre des tableaux d'etats et des souverains qui ont gouverne le yemen a l'epoque. Chapitre 1 dans ce premier chapitre nous avons presente les premieres madrasas fondees au yemen ( leurs localisations, leurs fondateurs et leurs professeurs). Chapitre ii les madrasas encore existantes, comme nous l'avons signale au-dessus sont au nombre de vingt madrasas. Pour chacune d'elles, ont ete traites les points suivants: - sa localisation, l'histoire de sa fondation, description de son architecture, ses decors et ses inscriptions, ses restaurations et l'enseignement ( specialite, professeurs, assistants et etudiants).

Os contos foram selecionados para um estudo mais elaborado, por serem contos de bastante expressividade e singularidade referentes aos símbolos e pelos argumentos contidos no livro El Aleph. A pesquisa objetiva encontrar pontos convergentes entre as três narrativas, demonstrado características do realismo fantástico presentes na escrita de Borges, sua importância para a formação dos símbolos borgianos e o papel desses símbolos como unidades de significação dentro do texto. Espera-se, a partir das análises, tentar chegar a uma visão das relações entre o texto, a significação dos símbolos presentes e o contexto geral das narrativas, pela demonstração de como as tramas das três narrativas em questão se interligam, se antecipam e se completam. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT<br>This study is meant to examine the plots of the tales El Zahir, El Aleph and La escritura del dios, from the book El Aleph, written by the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. The stories were selected for a more elaborate study, due to their expressiveness and uniqueness concerning symbols and arguments in the book El Aleph. The research aims to find convergence between the three narratives, demonstrating characteristics of the magical realism present in Borges’s writing, its importance for the formation of Borgesian symbols and the role of these symbols as meaning units within the text. It is expected, based on the analysis, to reach a view of relations between the text, the meaning of the symbols and the general context of the narrative. Showing thus how the plots of the three narratives in question interconnect, anticipate and complete themselves.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to examine how ethnicity and gender of victim and perpetrator might influence students’ assessment of the severity of cyber-harassment in three different contexts. One hypothesis was that severity is mediated by indicators of power (blame, control balance and status-difference), which in turn are dependent on dimensions of ethnicity and gender. A semi-factorial survey was conducted among 365 students in five different high schools in Stockholm county. The students assessed three different vignettes, which described 1) harassment on a blog, 2) grieving in a first-person-shooter video game and 3) the uploading of a nude picture on Facebook. The effects of the dimensions on participants’ perception of the harassment and choice of action were analysed using linear- and logistic regression analysis, respectively. The results showed the following in each respective vignette: 1) Male bystanders were more prone to choose a passive action if the victim was female and the perpetrator male. 2) Men attributed less blame to female victims while women made no such difference. 3) The results indicate that women deemed the situation more severe if the victim was female. To conclude, the effects of the dimensions seem to vary depending on the different contexts.

Abstract:

The researcher has examined more than sixty manuscript but he has chosen five copies of them for study and edition. The research deals with the emergence of Arabic Grammar and its development up to the time of Ibn Mālik the writer of the <i>Alfiyyah </i>who died in 672AH / 1274CE. The research also concentrates on the study of the era of al-Makkūdī which covers aspects of political, social, economic and religious life, with a special emphasis on cultural life and general scientific environment. It discusses the life of al-Makkūdī covering different areas such as his family, birth, childhood, teachers, scientific activity, poetic abilities, students, death and finally his works of which his Commentary on the <i>Alfiyyah</i> is the most important. It also reviews the study al-Makkūdī’s commentary covering the title, the date of composition, sources used and the method adopted by al-Makkūdī. The thesis gives details of the some of the works produced about the Commentary. Finally the thesis introduces many copies of the manuscript from various libraries around the world, detailing their degree of completion and diminution, dates of scribing, names of scribes, the number of pages, the style of writing. It focuses on giving a detailed description of the selected copies; five copies were chosen for the research four were manuscripts and the fifth an old stone printed copy (Tab<sup>C</sup>ah Hajariyyah).

Abstract:

<p>The successful genomic era has resulted in a great demand for efficient production and purification of proteins. The main objective of the work described in this thesis was to develop methods to facilitate recovery of target proteins after recombinant production in Escherichia coli.</p><p>A positively charged purification tag, Z<sub>basic</sub>, has previously been constructed by protein design of a compact three-helix bundle domain, Z. The charged domain was investigated for general use as a fusion partner. All target proteins investigated could be selectively captured by ion-exchange chromatography under conditions excluding adsorption of the majority of Escherichia coli host proteins. A single cation-exchange chromatography step at physiological pH was sufficient to provide Z<sub>basic</sub> fusion proteins of high purity close to homogeneity. Moreover, efficient isolation directly from unclarified <i>Escherichia coli</i> homogenates could also be accomplished using an expanded bed mode. Since the intended use of a recombinant protein sometimes requires removal of the purification tag, a strategy for efficient release of the Z<sub>basic</sub> moiety using an immobilised protease was developed. The protease columns were reusable without any measurable decrease in activity. Moreover, subsequent removal of the released tag, Z<sub>basic</sub>, was effected by adsorption to a second cation-exchanger. </p><p>Using a similar strategy, a purification tag with a negatively charged surface, denoted Z<sub>acid</sub>, was constructed and thoroughly characterised. Contrary to Z<sub>basic</sub>, the negatively charged Z<sub>acid</sub> was highly unstructured in a low conductivity environment. Abstract:

The successful genomic era has resulted in a great demand for efficient production and purification of proteins. The main objective of the work described in this thesis was to develop methods to facilitate recovery of target proteins after recombinant production in Escherichia coli. A positively charged purification tag, Zbasic, has previously been constructed by protein design of a compact three-helix bundle domain, Z. The charged domain was investigated for general use as a fusion partner. All target proteins investigated could be selectively captured by ion-exchange chromatography under conditions excluding adsorption of the majority of Escherichia coli host proteins. A single cation-exchange chromatography step at physiological pH was sufficient to provide Zbasic fusion proteins of high purity close to homogeneity. Moreover, efficient isolation directly from unclarified Escherichia coli homogenates could also be accomplished using an expanded bed mode. Since the intended use of a recombinant protein sometimes requires removal of the purification tag, a strategy for efficient release of the Zbasic moiety using an immobilised protease was developed. The protease columns were reusable without any measurable decrease in activity. Moreover, subsequent removal of the released tag, Zbasic, was effected by adsorption to a second cation-exchanger. Using a similar strategy, a purification tag with a negatively charged surface, denoted Zacid, was constructed and thoroughly characterised. Contrary to Zbasic, the negatively charged Zacid was highly unstructured in a low conductivity environment. Abstract:

Mitunter wird dem Islam im öffentlichen Diskurs eine prinzipielle Inkompatibilität mit modernen Werten und einer säkularen Gesellschaftsordnung unterstellt. Dabei gibt es islamische Positionen, die eine Verbindung von Moderne und Säkularität mit dem Islam fordern. Eine wird von dem ägyptischen Literatur- und Islamwissenschaftler Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid vorgebracht, bekannt geworden für seine Ausarbeitung einer historisch-kritischen Koranhermeneutik. Mit einer Quellenanalyse wird in dieser Arbeit untersucht, wie Abu Zaid die Rolle des Islam in der Moderne bestimmt. Besonderer Fokus liegt dabei auf seinen Konzepten von Moderne, Säkularität und Religion. Den Hintergrund für die Analyse bieten Theorien zu vielfältigen Modernen und Säkularitäten. Es kann gezeigt werden, dass Abu Zaid die Probleme islamischer Länder in der Moderne in der Verbindung von Religion mit Politik und Recht verortet. Um den Islam auf einer individuellen und spirituellen Ebene zu bewahren, fordert er eine säkulare Gesellschaftsordnung. Gestützt werden seine Forderungen durch Bezüge zur islamischen Ideengeschichte. Rationalität, Säkularität und moderne Werte werden so innerislamisch begründet. Vor dem Hintergrund islamischer Reform im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert deuten die Ergebnisse auf einen prinzipiellen Wandel hin. Reformern im 19. Jahrhundert ging es vorrangig darum, in islamischen Ländern an den technischen und wissenschaftlichen Fortschritt der Moderne anzuknüpfen. Im 20. Jahrhundert geht es vermehrt um die philosophischen und ethischen Fundamente der Moderne. Dadurch wird auch die Rolle des Islam Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts neu verhandelt.
