The diploma thesis analyses both legislative and tax aspects of employment assignment structures. First part of diploma thesis summarises data concerning Czech and European labour migration. Second part of the document focuses on the definiton of legal framework of assignment in view of the Czech republic legislation, legislation of the European Union and partly in view of the legislation of non-EU member states. Wide legal framework finally leads to definiton of three basic possible employment structures. Two of them are described in diploma thesis in more detail. The final part of document analyses tax aspects of mentioned assignment structures. This part also refers to international social security and health insurance aspects as well as selected labour law implications. The last part ends with analysis of relevant judicature of The Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic and The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic.

The thesis Role of external radio broadcasting in the Czech public diplomacy deals with the audiovisual (radio and television) external broadcasting operated by the state. It focuses on the Czech external broadcasting represented by the radio station Radio Prague. The broadcasting is arranged by the Czech Radio and financed by the ministry of foreign affairs. The aim of this thesis is to describe the task of Radio Prague in contemporary Czech public diplomacy. It looks at the station's programming, extent of the broadcasting and its orientation. It is concerned with the relation of Radio Prague to the state and compares the Czech model with models of main democratic countries in the Euro-Atlantic space. It takes into consideration the small and medium-sized and also transition states' public diplomacy specifics. It is interested in the position of Radio Prague in the Czech public diplomacy and with the position of the public diplomacy as a whole in the Czech foreign policy. The thesis uses the analysis of relevant primary documents relating to the Czech public diplomacy and external radio broadcasting and information from personal interviews with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and Radio Prague.

Diploma thesis "Radiojamming of foreign radio broadcasts to Czechoslovakia (between years 1952-1988)" discusses how the communist regime abolished the entire 36 years of foreign radio broadcasts. It focused on the broadcasts of Radio Free Europe, Voice of America, BBC, Radio Liberty, Deutschlandfunk, Deutsche Welle, the Vatican, Rome, Paris, Madrid, Canada, Rias. The so-called action of R-405 (which was code-named Project interference) lasted throughout the period from January 1952 until December 1988.

The master thesis Jan Petránek and his position in media. A biographical study. is describing life and publishing activities of journalist Jan Petránek. Text is dedicated to extensive period of time, from the birth of Petránek in 1931 up to the current year 2016. In each chapter, you can find foreword describing political and social context, which influenced not only Czechoslovakia Radio but the journalist himself. The used key methodology was oral history, conversations with Jan Petránek, research and work with the archived materials from National Archive in Prague and Archive of Czechoslovakia Radio. The biggest emphasis is focused on Petránek's work in Czechoslovakia Radio, he started to work there in 1951 until 1970, when he was fired for his activity in anti-occupation broadcasts in 1968. In the thesis, you can find information about his family, signature of Charta 77, activity in Lidové noviny and in the company Šanson - věc veřejná, established to support self-immolation of Jan Palach. Taking into account, that Jan Petránek until today, 2016, is still external contributor in Czech Radio and often guest in television programs, last chapter is dedicated to his activity after fall of communistic regime in 1989. The disertation is focused on development and importance of the Czechoslovak desk of the Radio Free Europe in period between 1950 and 1994. This broadcasting have gained in time of strong censorship significant and till now unresearched importance. In February 1948 the Communist party took power in the Czechoslovakia. After that Czech and Slovak democratic politicians had left country to the West. They wanted to break the isolation of people living behind the Iron Curtain and promote restoration of democracy in their homeland. In 1949 was in the USA established the National Committee for Free Europe as fomally independent citizens association. As its most known activity had became the Radio Free Europe (RFE). This radio station had became an important tool for political strugle between two blocks in time of the Cold War. The basic qestion is what real position RFE broadcasting have reached in this struggle. The estabilishing of foreign broadcasting to the Czechoslovakia was very difficult task. RFE started its activity as exiles platform for purpose of liberation the Czechoslovakia from rule of the Communistic Party regime. The presented text is concerned with the development of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) in the period from the late 1980s to mid-1990s. The main aspiration of this Diploma Thesis is the introduction of these specific radio projects in a new era with new missions. RFE/RL gained great popularity during the Cold War period as they were powerful tools in the fight against communist regimes in Europe and the Soviet Union. However, with the fall of Iron Curtain, it was generally anticipated that their tasks were complete. Both Services had to fight against these general assumptions and prove that their mission had yet more functions. Thus, they focused on promoting ideas and principles of democratic and liberal societies. This type of educational broadcasting proved to be very much needed in the post-communist countries which sought to implement the norms of the Western world. This paper describes the overall, somewhat complicated story of RFE/RL, its mission and further developments in broadcasting, which were fundamentally influenced by plans for budget cuts and resulted in the relocation of RFE/RL's operations from Munich to Prague. Subject of this study is the analysis of sports television broadcasting in the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Great Britain. This comparison serves primarily to examine the visual content of selected TV stations from specific country. TV sports broadcasts are not simply capturing reality, but they are rather an interpretation of this reality, which is also reflected in a number of narrative elements that increases the attractiveness of the event. The author of this study applies the theoretical knowledge to examples of live broadcasts and further develops the theory. Concludes that analysed broadcasts from different countries did not differ significantly from one another, it can be interpreted as a result of the homogenization of sports broadcasting.

This dissertation deals with the problematics of the research of the educative media content, using mainly the data we gathered during surveys carried out between 2003 and 2011. The paper handles several theoretical and methodological aspects of the relationship between media and education, namely the role of educative media in education as such. In the theoretical part we focus mainly on the interdisciplinarity of the subject, i.e. the differences in the media studies and other social sciences perspectives. After a description of the necessary theoretical/methodological framework, an outline of a classification system of educative programmes is proposed that could be useful both in pedagogical and media practise. In the next part of the paper we discuss the current state of the czech public service media education area. The second chapter itself consists of selected researches results carried out in the area of education programmes and contents, some of which the author of this paper collaborated on. The survey choice consisted of questionnaire and enquiry surveys focusing on the relationship of structured media audiences (students and teachers) towards educative programmes. Synopsis The aim of this diploma paper is to explain and demonstrate censorial practice of the communist regime in the Czechoslovak Radio. The paper demonstrates via narrators' memories the way the transmission in the Czechoslovak Radio was affected after its takeover by the Communist Party in 1948, namely on the part of both the operational technical staff members and editors. Historical experience of narrators is presented in the context of formerly known events amended by published articles or sources including those of radio archive.
