In the horticultural zone in Zapotitán, the tomato crop is affected by several diseases, but more heavily by those of fungal origin, among which stabd out the early blight (A. solani) and late blight (P. infestans). En este trabajo se documenta el papel y potencial de los recursos vegetales de Zapotitlán Salinas, Puebla, una comunidad de origen popoloca, ubicada en la porción más árida del Valle de Tehuacán-Cuicatlán. En total, se encontraron 298 especies divididas en 82 familias, y se presenta información etnobotánica de 288 especies pertenecientes a 219 géneros y 79 familias, cuyos usos se ubican en 19 categorías. De ellas, 164 prosperan en las distintas comunidades vegetales naturales de la zona y en algunas de las áreas transformadas, mientras que 124 se encuentran de manera exclusiva en los huertos.

Neobuxbaumia tetetzo (Coulter) Backeberg (tetecho) is a columnar cactus endemic to Mexico. Tetecho plants, flowers, fruits, and seeds play an important role in the semiarid ecosystem, as they serve as a refuge and food for insects, bats, and birds, and are widely used by ethnic groups since pre-Hispanic times. El propósito de esta investigación es medir el desempeño en actividades de planeación y finanzas de las micro y pequeñas empresas (mypes) de ingreso bajo y medio de tres pequeños municipios mexicanos del estado de Puebla: San Gabriel Chilac, Zapotitlán y Zinacatepec, previo a la pandemia por COVID-19.
