Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a certain overview of tourism services provided currently for free. The theoretical part enlightens the theory of price, its marketing mix functions, price tactics, strategies and its impact on a company image. Furthermore, the benefits of tourism are described as well as the satellite travel account and the unofficial account of WTTC. In connection with this the multiplying effect, grey and shared economy are introduced. In the practical part an overview of services provided for free is created and the implications are also stated. Those were found out via academic studies, interviews and e-mail communication with respondents. The result of this thesis is a summary of implications connected with each type of free tourism services.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the banking market and it is focused on the account in the Czech Republic. The aim is to assess the impacts of the chosen communication strategy on the target group in connection with the launching of new products. The first part focuses on selected theories. The second part deals with the Bank itself and analyzes the current communication strategy. The last part research examines the effectiveness of communication campaign and the impact of the new strategy on changes of consumer perceptions and decisions. Besides the data gained from the primary research, there were a lot of secondary data such as an internal company data and data from the research of MML-TGI or data from Nielsen Admosphere that were used also as well.

Abstract:

This Master's thesis deals with the Internet start-up companies' topic, their lifecycle and possible application of the classical business plan theory. The aim of the thesis is to describe the lifecycle of an internet start-up company from its early plan-ning phase, market research, to its business strategy statement. The aim is to provide a brief tutorial on planning and realization of an internet project too. To give advices and provide experiences, which have been gained during writing the thesis. This work brings to the reader a confrontation of a classical business plan with the entire internet project. It also aims to certify viability of the particular internet start-up idea mainly thanks to a wide research on the public's and attorneys' side of the market. Practical part of the thesis brings up an idea of the particular internet start-up company "Free Advice" and its business model, market research on this project, public's and attorneys' interest, initial phase and the beginning of the realisation of the project. Goals were achieved through practical work on the first three phases of the business plan. The author's added value is mainly in application of theoretical premises of the business plan to the concrete business idea. This will allow other entrepreneurs to easily implement the business plan theory to an internet project in order to justify its meaningfulness. The achieved results can be used in order to realise this particular idea and to get necessary funds.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a complete analysis of real data in free to play multiplayer games. The analysis is based on the methodology CRISP-DM using GUHA method and system LISp-Miner. The goal is defining player churn in pool from Geewa ltd.. Practical part show the whole process of knowledge discovery in databases from theoretical knowledge concerning player churn, definition of player churn, across data understanding, data extraction, modeling and finally getting results of tasks. In thesis are founded hypothesis depending on various factors of the game.

Abstract:

The work deals with the reconstruction and outbuilding of the community center in Zdar nad Sazavou. The existing house was built in the 70s last century. The building served as a day nursery in the past and then as a branch office of primary school. In this time is a part of the building used by the Club in 9 and Day of center for children and youth, part of the building is unused. The building is located in the centre of inaccessible and unkempt gardens and do not communicate with the surrounding. The aim of the diploma work is to change this situation. Using the construction impacts to create from the building a home and garden, which will be open to the surrounding and will be to interact with it. It using the reconstructions and outbuildings, which will respect the original DNA of the house.

Abstract:

This thesis presents a safety inspection in selected places in the Vysocina region of the Czech Republic. Six intersections in rural and municipal areas, plus three rural road sections were selected for the inspection and an accident rate analysis. The places selected were compared in terms of the accident rate and one case of each group was then selected for a detailed safety inspection encompassing visual inspection and identification of possible hazards. By eliminating such safety hazards, it is possible to ensure a traffic fluency and to preclude traffic accidents or at least minimize the harm caused by it.

Now is the era of knowledge economy and knowledge is regarded as the source of competitive advantage for organizations. Continuously acquiring new knowledge to maintain competitiveness in the market becomes a very important issue, for enterprises. The employee suggestion system has been widely used as the tool of internal knowledge creation in the organiztaions. However, the success of the system is generally depending on the level of employees’ participation. In this study, a case study of a local company in Germany, expect to find the correlation between the design and implementation of employee suggestion system with its effectiveness. Additionally, because the case company is located in Germany, it also takes into account the study of national culture factors on the effectiveness of the system affected. The research methods cover qualitative discussoin and quantitative analysis. The qualitative discussion is primarily to understand the suggestion system design and implementation status of case company through interviews and literature, and to investigate which factors to its success, and to understand the interaction in between the results and the national culture of Germany. The quantitative analysis places staff for the survey, and the main study will focus on staff’s satisfaction cognition of suggestion system will affect their proposing will, and evaluate its correlation with national cultural tendency. The results of the study for the case company show the design and implementation of employee suggestion system that can fully meet the success factors mentioned in the literature, together with building a long-term culture to propose within the organization is able to continue to maintain a high participation rate. When employee suggestion becomes part of the organizational culture and system, proposing would be a work habits. Individual employee’s cognition toward suggestion system will not affect his proposing will. At the national culture, if enterprises establish a strong organizational culture that is effective to educate staff and screen staff, the impact of national culture will be weakened.

This study examines the relationship between innovation capability and firm performance for Taiwan’s listed semiconductor industry companies that applied for patents in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) within the period from 2000 to 2012. I also employ depth of innovation, breadth of innovation and speed of innovation as the measure of innovation capability, and apply the Propensity Score Matching to remedy the inadequacies of sample selection bias. The main findings are as follows: (1) Innovation breadth and fast innovation can enhance financial performance, but deep innovation will reduce financial performance. (2) The new ventures with broad and fast innovation are more positively associated with firm performance than the established firms.

Master thesis: Wedding in the town of region of Zdar nad Sazavou Author: Bc. Veronika Macková Supervisor: PhDr. Jaroslava Krupková, CSc. ABSTRACT This thesis is focused on the description of the current marriage in the district town of Zdar nad Sazavou. The thesis is a methodology of field research, where I describe the basic information on how to collect information in the field. This work incorporates two general chapters on marriage. One is about how it is legally defined marriage in the Czech Republic, and the second deals with the status of marriage in human life. An integral part of this thesis is also crucial appreciation of literature and sources and historical development and current form Zdarsky whole region. In this thesis the main chapters are solved on three: the bridal, wedding day and the next day after the wedding. Each chapter has several requirements under subchapters. Contemporary wedding in the district town Zdar nad Sazavou is the traditional model compares the captured in the 19th and 20th century. Abstract:

This thesis presents the search for the dark sector process h -> Zd Zd -> 4l in events collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in 2015--2018. In this theorized process, the Standard Model Higgs boson (h) decays to four leptons via two intermediate Beyond-the-Standard-Model particles each called Zd. This process arises from interactions of the Standard Model with a dark sector. A dark sector consists of one or more new particles that have limited or zero interaction with the Standard Model, such as the new vector boson Zd (dark photon). It could have a rich and interesting phenomenology like the visible sector (the Standard Model) and could naturally address many outstanding problems in particle physics. For example, it could contain a particle candidate for dark matter. In particular, Higgs decays to Beyond-the-Standard-Model particles are well-motivated theoretically and are not tightly constrained; current measurements of Standard Model Higgs properties permit the fraction of such decays to be as high as approximately 30%. The results of this search do not show evidence for the existence of the h -> Zd Zd -> 4l process and are therefore interpreted in terms of upper limits on the branching ratio B(h -> Zd Zd) and the effective Higgs mixing parameter kappa^prime.
