Vorspann Martin Niemöller ist bekannt als ein Anführer der Bekennenden Kirche, der für seine Haltung mit jahrelanger KZ-Haft belegt wurde, und als Nachkriegsmahner für ein kirchliches Bekenntnis zur Mitschuld am Nationalsozialismus. Auch eigenes Schweigen angesichts politisch-moralischer Herausforderungen hat er selbstkritisch thematisiert. Benjamin Ziemann indes zeigt im vorliegenden Beitrag auf, dass sich die Problematik von Niemöllers Verhalten vor seiner Konfrontation mit dem NS-Staat nicht in Passivität erschöpft. Während seiner Studienzeit in Münster leistete er vielmehr als völkisch-deutschnationaler Studentenfunktionär Demokratiefeindschaft und Antisemitismus aktiv Vorschub.

As it causes abortion, lethality and greatly diminishes milk production, trypanosomiasis may cause significant losses to farmers, especially those working with milk production. However, there is not much information about this protozoon in Brazil. As it is necessary to gather more knowledge about isolates in the country to evaluate the disease real prevalence, impact in economy and, more importantly, develop control programs, this work proposed evaluate the morphometry of this parasite in scanning electron microscopy and the efficacy of different disinfectants in its elimination. Scanning electron microscopy is a highresolution technique used to analyze the external structures of the parasite, which shows morphometric differences between Latin America and Brazilian isolates. In this work, it was shown that there is no size difference among isolates found in Brazil and Goiás. The results of disinfectants efficacy evaluation to eliminate this agent have shown that many disinfectants commonly found in the market may be used. This information may be applied directly in farms to help control infection focus and contribute in reducing the disease impact in Brazilian milk production.<br>Trypanosoma vivax (Ziemann, 1905) é o protozoário responsável por causar a tripanossomíase em bovinos, doença que atualmente expressa caráter epidêmico no Brasil e, no estado de Goiás, foi identificada pela primeira vez em 2015. Por ocasionar aborto, letalidade e grande queda de produção de leite, a tripanossomíase pode gerar grandes prejuízos ao produtor, principalmente os que trabalham com bovinocultura de leite. Apesar disto, ainda não há muitas informações disponíveis sobre este protozoário no Brasil. Considerando a necessidade de conhecer mais as características dos isolados presentes no país a fim de avaliar sua prevalência real, impacto na economia e, principalmente, desenvolvimento de programas de controle, este trabalho se propôs avaliar a morfometria do parasito em microscopia eletrônica de varredura e a eficácia de diferentes desinfetantes na sua eliminação. A microscopia eletrônica de varredura é uma técnica de alta resolução empregada para analisar a estrutura externa do parasito, que apresenta diferenças morfométricas entre os isolados na América Latina e no Brasil. Neste trabalho, ficou evidenciado que não há diferença de tamanho entre os isolados encontrados no Brasil e em Goiás. Os resultados da avaliação da eficácia dos desinfetantes em eliminar o agente demonstram que diversos desinfetantes comumente encontrados no mercado podem ser empregados. Estas informações podem ser aplicadas diretamente em propriedades para auxiliar no controle de surtos e contribuir na redução dos impactos causados nos rebanhos bovinos de leite brasileiros.

Para tanto, foram utilizados oito ovinos machos, sorologicamente negativos para T. vivax, sendo quatro destinados ao grupo testemunho e quatro infectados com 105 T. vivax. As colheitas de sangue foram realizadas duas vezes antes da infecção e, posteriormente, em dias determinados, destinados aos exames laboratoriais. Exames clínicos e parasitemias foram realizados diariamente; e o peso, um dia antes da infecção, e com intervalos de 30 dias, a necropsia foi realizada aos 120 dias após infecção. Observou-se que a amostra usada era típica de T. vivax e o período prépatente de um dia, com parasitemia intermitente até o final do experimento. Os sinais clínicos encontrados nos animais infectados foram: apatia, palidez das mucosas, emaciação, aumento dos linfonodos, corrimento nasal, hipertermia, alterações no peso, diarréia e neuropatias. Ocorreu diminuição significativa na contagem global de hemácias, no teor de hemoglobina, no hematócrito e no volume corpuscular médio. A anemia, no final da observação, foi microcítica normocrômica, e leucocitose causada por linfocitose. Todos os exames bioquímicos apresentaram alterações nos animais infectados em relação ao grupo testemunho exceto a tiroxina total. No geral, observou-se: diminuição do colesterol total, colesterol ligado ao HDL, do lipídio total hepático, dos glicogênios hepático e muscular, ferro, magnésio, gamaglutamiltransferase, aspartatoaminotransferase, fosfatase alcalina, creatinaquinase, lactatodesidrogenase, triiodotironina, cortisol e nas proteínas da fase aguda, exceto a transferrina e antitripsina que estiveram altas no final do período experimental...<br>The objective of this research was to study an experimental infection of T. vivax in sheep, evaluating clinical signs and parasitemia as well as hematological, anatomopathological and biochemical alterations and to obtain the biometric data of the parasite. Eight male sheep were used, four in the testimony group and four infected with 105 T. vivax .Blood samples were collected two times before and posterior to receiving the infection on days designated and determined by laboratory exams. The animals were examined daily, as well as the clinical aspects and parasitemia. The animals were also weighed one day before the infection and in 30 day intervals, until they were sacrificed. The following results were obtained: the sample used was typical of T. vivax and the parasites were detected in the blood on the first day after the infection of the intermittent parasite until the end of the experiment. The clinical signs found were: apathy, paleness of the mucous, emaciation, lymph gland enlargement, runny nose, hyperthermia, weight alterations, diarrhea and neurological signs. There was a significant decrease in the global hemacia count, hemoglobin and in the hematocritic and in the average packed cell volume. The anaemia, at the end of the observations, were microcitic, normochromic and leucocitosis due to the lymphocytes. All of the biochemical exams presented alterations in the animals infected in relation to the testimony group except for the thyroxine. In general, was observed: decrease in total cholesterol, HDL, total hepatic lipid, hepatic and muscular glycogen, iron, magnesium, gamaglutamiltrasnferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, creatine kinase, lactate desidrogenase, triiodothyronine, cortisol and proteins in the acute phase except the transferrin and antitrypsin that were high at the end of the experimental period...(Complete abstract, click electronic address below)

ZusammenfassungWird Inklusion als gesellschaftlicher Transformationsprozess gesehen (u. a. Ziemen, 2013, 2018), muss auch in den Universitäten ein Veränderungsprozess stattfinden, der es Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten ermöglicht, verschiedene Rollen einzunehmen. Inter-/National existieren bereits Projekte zur Inklusion von Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten als Forschende und Studierende (Hauser &amp; Schuppener, 2015; Wagner, 2019); partizipative Forschung wird in Deutschland seit 2011 vermehrt diskutiert (u. a. Buchner et al., 2011; Burtscher, 2019; Keeley et al., 2019). An mehreren Standorten werden zudem Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten als Bildungsfachkräfte zu Lehrenden ausgebildet (Mau, 2019). Dennoch sind weiterhin Fragen offen, wie der Personenkreis in einem exkludierenden Hochschulsystem einen chancengerechten Zugang zu Studium, Lehre und Forschung erhält. Hieran anschließend wurde an der Universität zu Köln mit „SUSHI – Summer School inklusiv“ im Herbst 2019 ein einwöchiges Lernformat für Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten und Studierende angeboten. Aus der Zusammenarbeit entwickelte sich die inklusive Forschendengruppe Hochschulbildung (InFoH), die gemeinsam Möglichkeiten eines chancengerechten Zugangs zur Hochschulbildung untersucht. Auf der Grundlage der Theorien zum sozialen Raum von Löw (2017) und Bourdieu (1983; 1993) wird dabei diskutiert, welche Auswirkungen diese Prozesse auf alle Beteiligten haben.

Abstract Donabedian (1980) defines a health care outcome as a “change in a patient’s current and future health status that can be attributed to antecedent health care” (pp. 82-83). An outcome is the result of health care or, in other words, is caused by the health care that was received by the patient. There continue to be intense and ongoing efforts to develop measures of health care outcomes. These efforts are in response to rising health care costs, capitation models of financing, and concerns with widespread variation in health care practices and outcomes across providers or settings (lezzoni, 1997a; Kramer, Daniels, Zieman, Williams,, Dewan, 2000; Young, Sullivan, Burnam,, Brook, 1998). Measuring and reporting outcomes of care is an attempt to ensure that payers receive good value for their dollars and that patients receive high-quality care. However, the measurement of outcome is influenced by other characteristics of the patient, in addition to health care.

Abstract:
The development of compressive biaxial stress in a film as the result of energetic impact during growth has been demonstrated in a number of experimental studies. In a study of sputtered metal films, Hoffman and Thornton showed that there is a tendency towards compressive stress as the pressure of the Ar sputtering gas is reduced[1]. Because the effect of collisions is to thermalise the sputtered vapour to a temperature approaching that of the background gas, low pressure sputtering generally produces a higher flux of energetic atoms onto the growing film. In some cases, the data show a maximum in compressive stress as pressure is reduced, showing that even though the average energy of the sputtered atoms is increased by further reduction of pressure, the compressive stress is actually reduced. For Pd films subjected to Kr ion bombardment during growth, Ziemann and Kay[2] showed the presence of a maximum in the compressive stress for an impact energy of 80eV per Pd atom. In the case of sputtering in which the substrate is biased with respect to the plasma so that the energy of impact of ions onto the film may be varied, a maximum compressive stress in several metal films has been observed for bias voltages of approximately - 50V[3]. The situation in non-metallic films is similar. For TiN, the compressive stress also shows a maximum in the impact energy range less than 200eV[4].

Abstract:
Nacionālā pretošanās kustība Latvijā Otrā pasaules kara laikā bija neviennozīmīga. Tās vispārējai izplatībai un efektivitātei traucēja fakts, ka tā nebija saliedēta. Līdz 1943. gadam nebija centralizētas organizācijas, kas apvienotu un iedvesmotu Latvijas iedzīvotājus pretoties gan padomju, gan arī nacistiskās Vācijas okupāciju režīmam. Īsi pēc nacistiskās Vācijas iebrukuma Padomju Savienībā 1941. gada 22. jūnijā Latvijas teritorijā jau norisinājās pretošanās. Notika spontāni uzbrukumi padomju varas iestā­dēm, represīvajiem orgāniem un to atbalstītājiem. Šīs totalitārās varas nodarītās pārestības Latvijas iedzīvotājiem tautas atmiņā nekur nepazuda. Būtiski atzīmēt, ka daļa pretošanās kustības dalībnieku izprata pretošanos kā nepieciešamību sadarboties ar nacistiskās Vācijas okupācijas režīmu. Šo attieksmi pamatā piedēvē tiem cilvēkiem, kas īsi pēc tam iestājās t. s. kārtības jeb policijas dienestos (literatūrā figurē arī apzīmējums “šucmaņi”). Pēc 1943. gada ziemas šo attieksmi zināmā mērā var piedēvēt arī tiem Latvijas iedzīvotājiem, kuri dienēja Latviešu SS brīvprātīgo leģionā. Cilvēki ticēja, ka šīs vienības veidos pamatu neatkarīgās Latvijas jaunizveidotajai armijai. Literatūrā mazāk pazīstamas un pētītas nacionālās pretošanās kustību personības ir Jāzeps Rancāns un Vladislavs Lōcis. Tāpat vērts pieminēt Andreja Eglīša un Lūcijas Garūtas ieguldījumu. Kaut arī šie cilvēki nepretojās tiešā veidā, viņu darbos un atmiņās parādās attieksme pret abu okupāciju režīmiem, tādējādi šo mantojumu var skatīt kā dažādas pretošanās kustības formas. 1943. gadā bīskaps Jāzeps Rancāns tika ievēlēts par jaundibinātās Latvijas Centrālās padomes priekšsēdētāju. Vienlaikus viņš uzņēmās Latvijas prezidenta pilnvaras gan kara laikā, gan arī pēckara starptautiskajā apziņā. Savukārt Vladislavs Lōcis bija grāmatizdevējs Daugavpilī. Viņa darbība kara laikā parāda cilvēku, kurš pēc dabas ir mūžīgais optimists. Cilvēks, kurš spītē visam, lai turpinātu savu ieguldījumu Latgales kultūrā. Tikmēr Rīgā Andrejs Eglītis un Lūcija Garūta sarakstīja kantāti “Dievs, Tava zeme deg!”. Vācu okupācijas laikā izpildītā kantāte ir kā pretošanās forma, jo tā iemieso Latvijas vēsturisko traģēdiju, tās iedzīvotāju mūžīgo likteņa samezglojumu.
